Labor Day weekend I stayed at the Americas best value inn *************** **. I had left a 100 security deposit. They took 50 dollars from my security deposit stating that I took 2 pillows. I told them I never took any pillows from the room. I told them to check the cameras. I mentioned to them that no where on the check in does it state how many pillows come in the room. If not I wouldve checked to make sure no pillows were missing.Business response

After the guest checked-out, we have sent the house-keeper to check the room, they have been working at our property from years and we maintain a check-list of keeping stuff in the room, so they double checked your room and in this case we had sent the head housekeeper also to check your room, later when the guest complained over a phone call property manager also verified the same so in this case we have checked 4 times that 2 pillows were missing from the room and $50 charge from the deposit will not be refunded.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:I told them exactly how many pillows I had. I did not take any pillows from the hotel. I mentioned to them that on Sunday 9-4-2022 housekeeping came into our room and grabbed dirty sheets and towels. Maybe in the mix they accidentally took the pillows with the dirty towels and sheets.
