October 2023 I purchased this travel trailer. The trailer came with a 1 year warranty. Which is provided. The A/C unit stopped working. I contacted the dealer whom I purchased the trailer from and informed me that the A/C unit was under warranty and for me to contact ***** the technician which installed the unit. I spoke with ***** and he wants to change me over $300.00 for parts and labor on the unit which he installed and is under warranty.Business response

Maz Enterprises LLC, has never done any work for ***********************, the complainant. Maz Enterprises LLC, replaced an air conditioner for ******** @ FMA, *************** Auto. Maz Enterprises LLC does NOT have any warranty on the air conditioner with ***********************. There is a 1 year manufacturer's warranty on the air conditioner which is valid to the purchaser. The purchaser is FMA, not ***********************. We spoke with **************** and attempted to help him, but he was unwilling to pay the service call and labor to diagnose the problem. Manufacturer's Warranties cover parts not LABOR or the SERVICE CALL. *************** was roughly 30 miles away, one way away from our location. Maz Enterprises LLC is a mobile repair and labor and service calls. The invoice *************** provided was for the air conditioner and install with *************** Auto, there is no liability with ***************. *************** was quoted over the phone roughly $300 for a service call and labor with an RV there is potentially more problems not related to an air conditioner that can cause an air conditioner to malfunction. *************** stated the Air Conditioner was not turning on at all. We were never given the opportunity to come out and diagnose the problem. From my 15 years in the industry, his problem was not the air conditioner itself it could have been a power supply problem, a board issue (which was not replaced), electrical feed from shore line, and numerous other potential problems. *************** stated the ** would not turn on or function what so ever. That is a POWER problem not an ** problem. But again we were not given the opportunity to come out and help ****************. IF the trailer came with a 1 year warranty, that is from the dealer he purchased the unit from NOT Maz Enterprises LLC. The A/C was working the date installed and we never were notified of a problem with our customer, FMA regarding this issue.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:yes someone did quote me a price over $300.00 to check out this unit When I purchased this travel trailer it came with this warranty and when the ** unit stopped working I notified the ************* auto and they informed me that the ** Unit was under warranty.so I contacted Maz Enterprises about the ** that he installed was not working he quoted me a price for labor and parts without coming out to my residence to look at the ** unit don't understand why am I expected to pay for this unit to be repaired when it's still under warranty.i can understand paying the service call but the parts that he quoted me a price for without looking at the unit is beyond my understanding. Especially when I contacted another technician, showed them the warranty that Maz Enterprise did the installation. They immediately noticed the problem and it was determined that it was the error of the person whom installed the unit.and that the electrical connectors was connected properly and the parts that's was quoted to me to repair the unit was free So please explain why was I quoted for parts and labor when I only should have been a service charge of $100.00
Sincerely,

*********************** refuses to pay the service call and labor totaling $300. We are a mobile service and have no affiliation with the manufacturer of the air conditioner. ******* provides the one year warranty for the air conditioner, not us. **************** can freely take the trailer to any authorized ******* service provider for warranty. He claims he had somebody come out and say the parts needed were under warranty, why did he not have this service provider fix them under that warranty for them to be paid? ******* air conditioners are plug-in play, there is no wiring as **************** states , it would be impossible for the insulation to be inappropriately wired, as the plug is single directional. **************** also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on the dealership that sold him the unit. They have been resolved of any wrongdoing, and **************** was found to be the problem. To investigate further please pull up *************** auto sales in *************** *******. Again, **************** purchased the travel trailer and the air conditioner from *************** auto sales. We have never done work for ****************, and at this point, we would prefer not to.
Please remove us from the liability and complaint, as we are not liable
