1 starI just got through with a tour to ******** with Diamond Tours. Needless to say if I could give a rating below zero stars I would. On th last night on the way home we was traveling to our hotel in *************. We was running behind a couple of due to no reason of the driver( couldnt get loaded on time because of another tour bus, a semi accident that held up traffic for quite awhile and plus it was snowing) we had a lady that had a medical emergency. Our driver pulled over at a ******* in ********** **(over two hours from our hotel) and a ARNP that was on our bus accessed her and called 911. Our drivers drive time was about to be up to where she had to quit driving for the night. She reached out to Diamond Tours and talked to ******. He informed her that she shouldnt have stopped for the emergency and should have kept on driving to our hotel. That we should leave her behind to fend for herself. As a group we all decided to pay for a room ourselves in ********** so that we wouldnt leave her behind if she got dismissed before morning and the driver could rest and hopefully it would stop snowing. ****** from Diamond Tours was adamant about the driver taking us to the hotel two hours away and told us we would not be reimbursed for our hotel. He also said he would call the comfort inn to let them know we wouldnt be coming which he did not do. I will not travel with Diamond Tours again and if I hear of anyone thinking of traveling with them I will do my best to let them know of our experience. PS- the lady was admitted to the hospital so it was the right call to stop and get her help even though ****** didnt think so.i dont want to leave a star it it wont let me leave this review without doing soReview fromPhyllis C

5 starsRecently, I took a group of seniors on a Diamond Tour to *******, ********. The tours was three days, two nights and included four great shows, breakfast daily and two dinners. The shows were fabulous with the first being *********************** followed by ************ Diamond review, the ******** and then the Irish Tenors. *********************** was over the top and equal to any broadway show I have ever seen. The other shows were also wonderful and the show performers were very friendly with ************ Diamond review performers posing for pictures with our group. The hotel we stayed in was nice, our motor coach driver was great, and the value for the money was wonderful.Review fromPat M

1 starI went on a Diamond Tour trip in September, 2023 to Cape Cod/**************** Tour. Diamond Tours used cheap, dirty hotels with dingy linen and towels! One hotel had bed bugs. For one of the included dinners they used the rear of an old condemned looking smelly hotel with mold on the ceilings with poor food quality. The food at another included meal was substandard as well. I would rate the accommodations below an 1 and would not recommend using them. Please check with your travel agent/tour guide to verify accommodations before using this company.Review fromGeorge M

1 starMy wife and I were part of a group of seniors on a tour from WV to Savannah, GA. We have done four previous trips with Diamond, but this one was a disaster almost from the beginning. Bus driver claimed to have been a Marine Drill Instructor, and treated the group as if we were recruits - everything that happened was our fault, and pointed out as such. This culminated in him yelling at my wife because she got tired of standing on the parking lot waiting for him to open the bus doors (and he opened doors at the time that we were scheduled to be leaving, rather than boarding). Then the motel for the tour was located in South Carolina, while events were in Savannah - so every day was a bus ride of at least an hour each way, in seats which were more crowded and uncomfortable than airplane seats. General statement: this driver should have no contact with paying customers in the future.Review fromEdwana H

3 starsJust returned from a trip to MaineOur driver ****** was awesome we had 50 people on our bus (way to many) some people had disabilities, 4 used walkers and at least 4 used canes We arrived at our hotels generally after 8:30, and one was after 10:00 all of our hotels were great except the one in **********, ** and we had the luck of staying at that one twice.the **************** was absolutely horrid there you had to climb a set of steep steps to get into the mansion their lift was broken and their was 1 bathroom for ******************************************************************* every frame my camera designated flash(no flashes allowed.)more than half of our group could not even enter the facilitythe meal at the ****************** ***** de ******** which was included was mediocre at best, at least at Olive ****** you can taste the difference in tomato sauce and marinara. The **************, the Diner and Applebees were greatthe trip to LLbean was a jokewe had 45 minutes there to shopseveral of us stayed on the bus. Several went to ************ for ice cream. The group leader canceled several things on the itinerary that some of us were looking forward to because it would put us behind I think Diamond Tours needs to actually send someone on these trips to evaluate the itineraries for older, handicapped individuals. Just because we are older doesnt mean we want to visit every Museumsfrom Alabama to *****. The timelines were way to close for the traffic we endured and to hopefully adhere to the schedule. I would suggest some stops on the way home other than potty breaks. I have 2 more trips booked with Diamond Tours after the first of the year. I sincerely hope they are a bit smother than this oneReview fromBarb F

1 starTrip to **************** was a disaster . The meals included in the trip were not edible .Dinner was served at 9:00 pm ? And breakfast was so bad alot of ** walked to Burger King daily. Diamond didnt plan well for 100 people to eat and so many places wouldnt take us .The busses were in need of obvious repairs. The hotels were old I feel Diamond took advantage of our seniors and just dont care anymore People read reviews before taking any trips. There are options There were 10 of us that came home with Covid so please wear masksReview fromAshley C

1 starOctober Cape Cod Trip was incredibly disorganized. We went without dinner yesterday. Only had one good meal the entire trip. The restaurants were horrible and most were located in the basement of the establishments. Hotels were not accommodating. Seniors with walkers had to walk up stairs to their hotel room on the second floor. Included breakfast was inedible. Half of the bus went to the Burger King next door for breakfast. This hotel and the restaurants used should have been researched ahead of time. The bus we used was not a luxury motor coach. It needs maintenance and probably to be retired. Very subpar experience for what we paid. I am very upset with how poorly this was planned and the quality of our trip. I have previously taken these types of tours and have never been this disappointed. Diamond tours CEO you need to come take this tour and see what vendors you are using.Review fromValeri R

3 starsOut tour was to **************. The bus they sent ** on needed shocks really bad. We stayed two hotels that was totally unacceptable. One of the hotels the smell was so bad they had to give us another room. Two others in our group, had to change rooms due to, being dirty or smelly! Two of the places they had us eat were substandard. One was a buffet that had very little food. Most containers were empty and food was all over the counters they needed to clean up really bad! I was very disappointed in diamond tours this is not the service I received years ago when I took a tour with my Church to ******* !Review fromPaula P

5 starsJust returned from a 6 day/5 nite tour of coastal ***** with Diamond Tours. Cannot say anything negative about our entire trip. Motorcoach bus was clean, awesome group leader and our driver was phenomenal. We stopped often enough for bathroom breaks along the way. The shopping, lunches and incredible scenery were such a delight in ********, Kennenunkport and Boothbay Harbor because each coastal city you got the feel of what it was really like visiting a *********** coastal town. The only negative would be one less excursion a day allowing tourists to get back to their hotel room by 6pm to enjoy downtime because each day was a very early leave time to allow for driving time and on time tours already scheduled. I would go to another destination city using same Group Leader in a heartbeat.
