06/02/2023 AMOUNT: ******* FOR A UPPER DENTURE.THEY MADE ONE DENTURE IT WAS COMPLETLY WRONG EVEN AFTER MANY TRIP TO THE DENTIST THE DOCTOR HAD DECICED TO MAKE ANOTHER ONE ,I TOLD HIMTHEN THE TEXTURE IS LIKE CIMENT THE FOOD STICK TO IT'HE SAID IT WILL BE DIFFERENT.THE SECOND ONE WAS WORST THAN THE FIRST ONE THAN AFTER MANY TRIP AGAIN THEY COULD NOT ADJUST IT .I TOLD HIM IT LAST5 MONTHS I GO ENOUGH. HE ASK ME TO TRY AGAIN AND I HAVE NO PROBLEM TO GIVE YOUR MONEY BACK BUT LETS TRY ONE MORE TIME.I DID TRY FOR THE THIRD ONE IT WAS THE SAME TEXTURE I COULD NOT EAT WITH IT EVEN AFTER THE **** POLISH IT'SO ON SEPTEMBER 8 I BROUGHT BACK MY DENTURE BACK TO THE OFFICE AND TELL THEM I HAVE ENOUGHT AGGRAVATION I WROTE A LETTER AND TOOK PICTURE PUT MY DENTURE IN THE *** WITH ***** TOLD THEM TO GIVE IT TO DR ********************** I HAD ENOUGH AFTER7 MONTHS.I CALLED THEM FOR THE REFUND THEY IGNORE ME .THEY WANT TO GIVE A APPOINTMENT I SAID NO I HAD ENOUGHT.THE DENTURE I HAVE NOW DR ********************** DID IT 7 YEARS AGO WITH NO PROBLEME AT ALL AAND CHARGE ME ****** EXTRA TO HAVE IT IN 2 WEEKS THAT IS WHY I WENT BACK TO HIM.IT WAS A BIG MISTAKE.PLUS I DONT A TRANSPORTATION .I BIKE TO THAT OFFICE IT WAS CONVENIENCE FOR ME.PLEASE COULD YOU HELP ME TO GET MY REFUND.I WILL APPRECIATE IT.I GOT THE LETTER THAN I WROTE HIM AND PICTURE IF YOU NEED IT.I CALLED THEM YESTERDAY LEFT A MESSAGE .THEY CALL BACK MY CONTACT DRIVER INSTEAD.THANKS FOR ANYTHING YOU COULD DO FOR ME.***********************Business response

I am sorry that *********************** is unhappy with her upper denture and will refund the $1559.00 as soon as I can get the credit card number she used to pay for the denture. (we do not store CC numbers). There is nothing wrong with her denture and each time she came in with a complaint about it, she left satisfied. I requested she come in again but she refused. Ferber Dental Group never wants an unhappy patient, so I will take the loss and refund what she paid for the denture.Initial Complaint

I Have been having trouble with some partial upper dentures i received from Aspen Dental in Lakw Worth ** I went back to see them numerous times and the never corrected the loss of taste, cuts inside my mouth, sensitivity, etc. I then proceeded to go to 3 other dental groups.(Just picking them from Online information)Ferber Dental Group did an examination and provided my with a treatment plan and Helped with Financing options The financing still left me short approx $4k dollars. I couldn't go ahead with the treatment without securing the balance of the financing. 2 weeks later I received invoices from the following lenders saying they were billed by the Ferber Dental Group for work not done ************ Patient Solutions $6450.00 Alphaeon Credit $ ******* Care Credit $1800.00 I received no bills, statements or any communication from the dental practice Since i filed my complaint with the ******* Health ************************* complaint form, ************ received ******* and left a balance owed of $1512.00 Alpheon Credit received ******* back Care Credit received 0 back, leaving a balance of $1800 This Dental practice seems to have had numerous complaints and bad public image I am on permanent Disability and need the money returned to help me live month to month, as well as the negative impact this is having on my credit report Please advise me what options or recourse i have as a consumer being ripped offBusiness response

The patient was presented a treatment plan. He applied for and accepted outside financing. The financing was not enough to cover the full amount so he agree to pay out of pocket the difference which can be seen on his signed treatment plan which is attached. The patient also signed all of the consent forms for his treatment. Furthermore, digital impressions were taken and his temporary teeth were made. He was scheduled for his next appointment. It is not the Ferber Dental Group's fault that he could not come up with the additional money as he had agreed. He knew full well he was beginning treatment. We have returned to the finance companies all money he is due. We wish him the best.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I was totally lied to about what i was signing. I had no way of getting the extra money needed to complete the work and NEVER agreed to go ahead.I can provide you with signed treatment plans from other Dental groups i consulted with, and none of them went ahead and charged the financing i received ahead of time HE DID NO WORK
I have also included some other complaints i found regarding the Dentists unlawful and poor customer service in the past, as i see now that he takes advantage of his patients. Being disabled, i am also filing today a complaint
with the *** regarding him taking advantage and harming the well being of a permanently disabled senior . Please review the documents attached. HE is also lying about sending all the money back. As of yesterday. CARE CREDIT still has an $1800 Balance ************. The only Treatment that was done to me was an examination and xrays and a scan of my mouth I would agree to pay for these services, even though the initial visit was supposed to be free. This is a poorly run, poorly managed and predatory Dental practice that take advantage of paitents with real problems. Thnsk you.

I visited the dentist may 17, 2022 for a FREE consultation [according to the promotion] at the time. I was charge *******. When I complained, I was refunded all but $600 stating the $600 was for work done. I told them that I was advised the office visit was a FREE consultation. The dental manager/dental office refused to ***** the refund even after me contacting them regularly this past year, to no avail. I think it was a misrepresentation on the part of the dental office. If I had known they were going to charge me, I would have declined the services. ************** did receive a free consultation. At the conclusion of that consultation, a detailed treatment plan was presented to him. He signed the treatment plan and agreed to begin the work right away. He was well aware of the price because he applied for financing when he was here. He signed paperwork agreeing that he would be charged for any work done. I can provide that paperwork. He was only charged for the work done. The balance given by the finance company was refunded to him. We took impressions of both his upper and lower and they were sent to the lab for processing so they would be ready for his next appointment when his extractions would be done. He did not show for his next appointment. Then he cancelled. There was no misrepresentation here, he got his free consultation and he agreed to begin work, which we did.Initial Complaint

I am being charged and paying interest on services never preformed.4/5/21 I agreed to a treatment program totaling $9862 which I was originally told would be $89 monthly to pay off and it ended up being $189.00.I went in for the first part of the treatment and the office could not complete the extraction. I had to go to another office and have it completed. I was promised a refund which did not happen till 11/2021 when I called to cancel everything. I was asked to come into the office and "work out" what they could do. I went in and agreed to let them continue with a portion of the plan and they refunded $4269.00. I made another appointment to get impressions made to which I was told the implant needed to be replaced. I had the implant repaired and had to wait 3 months for it to heal. During that time I relocated out of Palm Beach County. I called the office and explained the situation and they told me the crowns were already placed and the treatment plan was completed. I told them I still have a temporary and there is no way it was completed. I was told Dr. ********************** would contact me which never happened. At this point I contacted the finance company and disputed the charges. ********************** sent a check for $1846.00 in 8/2022 (over a year later) claiming to the finance company the other work was completed. I contacted the office by phone several times after that with no call back from Dr. **********************. I emailed the office a list comparing there treatment plan with what was completed and the balance they owe. Again no response. The amount still owed is $4808.04 as shown on the attached documents.I am requesting the check in the be sent to my current address or will bring the matter to Palm Beach County Court. At that time any travel and legal fees will be added to the total amount sought.Business response

we understand the patient moved out of the area. We sent him 2 different refund checks. each was to his old address. We now have his updated address and will call him today before we issue him another refund check.Customer response
