Made an appointment on Monday to drop my vehicle off on Friday for an oil change, brake pads and since brake pads were being done I asked if they could paint my brake calipers red for me. I purchased the special paint and even degreaser for the brake calipers painting. My appointment was for 8 am Friday morning which was confirmed by this establishment. Vehicle was dropped off prior to 8am. I called at 1:30pm to check on vehicle and was told it was still being worked on. I then received a call at 3:10pm from the establishment telling me my rear rotors were bad and should be replaced. Needless to say I checked my rotors prior to dropping my vehicle off and they were fine and did not need to be replaced. I just needed my brake pads replaced. I should have known better when dropping the vehicle off this morning when I over heard an elderly man being taken advantage of by the establishment as well. This man was also dropping his vehicle off for a brake pad replacement and inquired about his rotors being changed. The establishment told him it's normal practice to change rotors when changing brake pads. Totally false and a way to take advantage of the consumer! Needless to say I minded my own business and kept my mouth shut.
Getting back to the phone call at 3:10pm. Once I told them I did not want my rotors replaced they then told me that they didn't know what brake pads belonged on my vehicle. He said the basic ones were $68 and the high performance ones were $160. I advised him I did not need the high performance pads on my vehicle and he then went on the say that they didn't know which pads would fit my vehicle and that they could not have them available until some time Monday morning. I was told they would order both pairs to see which pair fit my vehicle. I would have to leave my vehicle over the weekend to have my pads installed. Initially I agreed. However after thinking about it for a couple minutes I called them back and advised I would pick my vehicle up and have the pads done elsewhere since it was apparent I was being given the run around, they didn't know what they were doing or they were trying to take advantage of me. At this point I was advised that I could not come pick my vehicle up yet that it was still being worked on and that they would call me when i could pick it up. Needless to say I never received a phone call. I responded to the shop at 4:45; 15 minutes before they close up for the weekend to find my vehicle sitting outside. I waited my turn in line to check out and was told my bill was $565. for an oil change and to have my calipers spray painted red by paint I purchased. They never even ordered or replaced my brake pads! I then expressed my displeasure, that I would NEVER bring my vehicle back and that I would make sure to advise the residents in the area of my very disgraceful and unpleasant incident dealing with them. At this point I was asked what price I would feel comfortable paying for the work done. Quick thinking on my part I agreed to pay $400 which I kicked myself upon leaving because an oil change is less than $100. Painting my calipers is not nearly a $300 job especially if you see the shabby job on the rear calipers. Needless to say; everyone beware if you use them for any and all repairs! They are without a doubt taking advantage of everyone. I for one will NEVER be using them again! Not to mention they have signs on the wall stating," Honesty is our policy." Total ***
