AVOID AVOID AVOID. I went in to look at a used vehicle listed online for $21,600. This dealership is 2 hours from where I live and I called to make sure about the price, availability, and how I wanted to stay in $24,000 range because that is what I was willing to spend on a car. When it came to run the numbers, the total price went from $21,600 to $33,000. The taxes were double than that of other Toyota dealers - I know this because that was the third dealer that I had gone to look at cars. (Quite possibly charging the taxes of a full priced - new - vehicle rather than the used one being sold). The salesman insisted that I had to finance to lock in the deal price, although online there is an option to "lock in" the price by choosing the e-cash option for the exact amount. Salesman continued to talk down to me. When I asked why I would buy a 2022 car for $33,000 when I could buy a new car for that much, he offered to show me new cars. I told him no and redirected the conversation back to the car I was looking to purchase and questioned how the price jumped up $11 - 12,000 dollars. He left and someone with a nicer demeanor came to speak to me. New salesman told me that I needed to be flexible and pay more than my budget otherwise I would never purchase a car. They offered to bring the price down to $30,000 and asked me to pay the $24,000 cash and finance the rest with them. I declined and left. Complete scam of a dealership. I was excited at the opportunity at the advertised deal and disappointed of the outcome. This dealer is charging customers (on top of car/taxes) for a $3000 package they did not ask for (cool package, but no consent of the potential buyer). Do better.

Two finance managers there have recently duped my wife into $6000 extended warranties for her new 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid! The extra warranties $4000 *************** Contract and $2000 Battery Protection offer benefits that are already covered under Toyotas OEM warranty! And the catch/trick is that they wont pay a dime if your car is still under OEM warranty! For example, The battery protection warranty covers only 7 years from the date of car purchase while Toyota original warranty covers 10 years, ******* miles! Therefore, it is useless and a 100% rip-off!!!Luckily we found out a few days later that we had been cheated and fought very hard to get rid of the fraudulent warranties. My advice: if you have bought extended warranties recently or in the past few years, hurry up and cancel it. By law, you can cancel the vehicle service contract and the battery protection warranty anytime.

Every time my wife goes in for an oil change it somehow costs her $1000 because they find something that doesn't really need fixed and apply the most expensive options possible. These people are absolute scum. They've ripped my wife off for thousands of dollars

STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. 0 Stars if I could. Came in for a vehicle advertised on their website and when we arrived of course it just sold. We had a trade in as well after a couple hours of the sales guy going through objections we had he found a vehicle that worked for us and it was advertised at $26,600. After working the deal and going into signing the new price somehow increased to $27,609. looking through my paperwork they gave me after the fact. They had me sign two different purchase docs with 2 different sales prices on from their errors. If that was enough we traded our vehicle in on 2/16/2024. The dealership failed to pay our vehicle off until 4/16/2024. After finding out about our missed payments I researched our trade in vehicle vin only to find out that our vehicle had been sold at auction and listed for sale at another dealership.... So now not only has our credit dropped 50 points bc of two late payments on our credit now but they sold our vehicle to another dealer and still failed to pay it off. After countless following up with them their answer was the pay off check was lost in the mail and that they would reissue a check and that they'll send me a letter in the mail to deal with the credit companies to fix my credit. I WOULDNT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALLL....

Sun Toyota was very deceptive. They want credit for your auto loan even if you go in with your own loan. I had an approved loan from ********************* with the check in hand and they tried to "high pressure me and talk me into giving them my social security number". They wanted to run my number again which would lower my credit score and I refused. They started by "refusing my loan". They said they can run me through Suncoast. I refused. They then told me that Suncoast got me a high percentage at 8% and they can get me 7.5. This is a lie. Luckily Suncoast educated me and told me not to give them my social security number. You get 8% if it is a used car and 7.5 % for a new car. They tried every way to "high pressure me". They said they would flat out not take my loan and I said ok and was going to pack up and leave but they then started saying they can take it. I have a top credit rating and there is no problem with getting a loan preapproved through a lender of my choice, the finance manager at Suntoyota just wanted to take credit for it. They also haggle on the price and try to tack on many "extras" just to add the price up there. They are very deceptive and will harass you for hours. Consider going to another dealership and save yourself the headache. Nothing but lies and manipulation/high pressure sales from Suntoyota.

Answering my questions, working with me on price I wanted to pay and I didnt feel pressured. If you go there ask for him.
