  The first time i went to take 5 oil in holiday they gave me a oil change and didn't tell me that anything was wrong the car. Then I noticed a Oil leak underneath my car within the next few days after the oil change. So, I took it back for them to look at it and see if there was a leak they said that there wasn't. Then I went home and a few more days later I noticed a leak and I took a picture of the oil leak underneath my car and I took it back to the shop and then they noticed the leak that time and "fixed it". They told me they ruined the thread so they fixed the thread and today i went to Tiresplus instead of take 5 come to figure out they ruined the threading even more on the oil pan and it cost $610. I then called take 5 and they told me they will file the claim but 9 times out of 10 they won't accept it. They keep saying that they weren't the ones who did it but they are the last ones who did my oil change. I have the receipts for it as well. I am willing to go to court if necessary. There is other reviews saying they mess up with oil changes as well. I just want my car to be fixed that's all. Wether they can write me a check to get the oil pan fixed at another place or write a check to me for $610 so i can get it fixed. please.

  Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/05/12) */ The customer brought her car in and the original plug came out rough which can happen over time. The customer brought the car back in complaining of a leak. In Jan We replaced the plug with a new one and tested the vehicle multiple times with no leak. Customer left and called back in March after getting an oil change from us in Feb with no issues. Customer called back in March demanding $610 for a pan that we were not aware of any other issues. Per our process we requested her to take the car to a shop of our choice (Our Family Automotive) the car was looked at there and no leaks at the time. Family Automotive offered to re thread the pan that would prevent a new pan from being needed even though there was no visible leak to us or that shop. The customer had an appointment set up and never showed up. We have reached out to the customer to go to Family Automotive or back to us to re thread the pan. A few notes - the customers boyfriend stated to us that 9 times out 10 the claim gets denied not a take 5 employee. the pic attached was provided by the customer showing that they went to a different shop Tires plus and they took the plug out which is unauthorized work on the vehicle and violates the warranty of the oil change and the threads look perfectly fine by both our internal mechanics and Family Automotive mechanic. We are happy to re thread the pan to ensure the customer is handled but need the customer to return to us or Family Automotive to complete that.
