Guardian installed my solar in 2022 everything was working until recently I have one panel completely not working and needs to be inspected I have not been able to contact guardian. Apparently they changed names to approve solar and are still pulling permits but do not answer calls or emails. If I contact anyone else it voids the warranty

We got solar panels form the company in 2018. In 2023 we had them take them down because we were remodeling our home. We are now ready for them to be reinstalled and cannot get in touch with the company. The company email comes back as unsendable, *********************************** The phone number ************* says it is disconnected, and the phone number ************* says, "Announcement no one is available to take your call, thank you for calling goodbye." I have another email from the contract with WREC that is *************************************** I have emailed this one but have not gotten a response. When you ****** the addresses on file for the company they come up as permanently closed. We are not sure how to get in contact with them. We paid $29,860 for the panels and another $2,500 for the removal and storage of them. Please help us.

Guardian Solar installed our solar panels and for the last 5 months we have received $175 electric bill which is double the electric bill compared to the ***** we had been getting and know that there are issues with the micro inverters and system issues but when trying to get repaired all contact numbers and emails are disconnected or dead. We just want to have the items repaired and we see in previous complaints where the business is stating they have had phone issues.

Guardian Solar has continued to ignore my request for service for more than 2 weeks. After countless emails and phone calls they continue to be non responsive. My entire solar panel system is inoperable. No power being collected and Guardian Solar does not care. If I contact anyone else for service it will void my warranty. At this point I have to believe that is what they are hoping for.

We had our solar panels from Guardian Solar installed 2 years ago. Last month we noticed one of the panels weren't working per the energy company *******. We contacted Enphase they immediately responded and sent us a new microinverter which needs to be installed by Guardian. The number and email they provided does not work, I have been calling a 800 number and leaving messages for the last 3 weeks. No-one ever answers or returns my calls. We are paying a large amount of money for these panels and there is absolutely no customer service! Their website no longer exists, I am not sure what to do.

We had solar panels put on in 2022 and one is not working at all. We have been reaching out via email and telephone for the last 10 days with no response from Guardian. We are suppose to have a 25 year warranty and we already have a panel that is not working. The lack of response back is very unprofessional so we are stuck not being able to get it fixed. If you are looking for a company with good customer service, stay away from ********************.

I received notice yesterday of the complaint from this customer and have been in touch with them. Unfortunately, we are having phone issues and messages are not getting to us. I explained everything to the customer and have filed a case with Enphase to have their microinverter replaced under their warranty.

Here to formally address and seek resolution to an ongoing issue concerning the installation of solar panels at my residence. Since the beginning, I have been extremely dissatisfied with the service and the outcome of the installation.Primary Concern: Four out of the 32 panels installed at my residence were placed directly beneath shaded areas, resulting in significantly diminished energy production.Billing Issues: Even with the solar panels installed, I am still receiving an excessively high monthly FPL bill of over $400. Considering the size of my house (approx. **** sq. ft.) and the amount invested in the panels ($50,000), this amount is unreasonable. It has been suggested that my house requires more panels to be effective. Addressing the Concern: . The proposed solution from the company has been to charge me an additional $1,850 to move the improperly placed panels. Given that the oversight was not of my doing, I find this proposal unacceptable.Online Reviews: I, along with friends and family, will post about this experience in ****** Reviews and other online platforms to make consumers aware of the situation.Federal **************** (***) Report: I will contact the *** about potentially deceptive practices.*** Notification: I'll get in touch with the *** to inquire about any possible discrepancies or concerns related to solar tax credits or incentives.******* Attorney General: I'll escalate the matter to the ******* ************************** highlighting the misconduct and seeking potential remedies.Legal Action: I am in discussions with an attorney who currently has an open class action against a solar company. Should this matter remain unresolved, I am prepared to retain his services.Given the gravity of the situation, my distress, and the lack of a satisfactory response thus far, I urge the company to: Repair Panels Immediately to make system produce what was promised. The above are not threats, merely what I will be doing if not fixed.

This system was installed per the engineered plans and permit approved by the building department. Customer signed all documents agreeing to the panel placement before panels were installed and passed all inspections. We have answered all of your questions, addressed your concerns and are willing to move the panels at your request but it does require new engineered plans, permit and material. This was the price given to you. You were aware at contract signing that the system size you qualified for would not cover your electric bill. We do not make promises about tax credits and it states in your contract that not everyone is eligible for the full amount and to reach out to a tax professional for eligibility questions. We are not involved in any class action lawsuits.

I am rejecting this response because:
As per the attached photos you can clearly see that the panels are not all producing energy. These pics are one from today one from a month and one from the entire time the panels have been installed. I am not in the profession of installing solar panels therefor the fact that you are saying I signed documents accepting the placement of the panels is ridiculous and has nothing I ng to do with the fact that your company's profession is to install panels so that customers generate energy and therefor save on their electric bill. It was unprofessional for your company to put panels where there were clearly trees blocking.. them. The customer should not be held responsible for the lack of judgement or knowledge of your company. Not too mention I will be paying for these solar panels for the next 25 years which includes so.e that do not generate nearly what they should be had they been placed  in direct sun like.most of the others and not behind  a row of trees. There is no way that I am wrong here and if this happened to any of you I am pretty sure it would be unacceptable
    Sincerely,

At this point in time we do not see a production issue. We will recheck this at the end of your fist year to evaluate if you met your contracted production amount. As installed, at this current time it is producing right on track of what your contract states. The system was installed per the engineered drawings to meet your contracted production but as mentioned to you before, tree trimming would also benefit you.

    Complaint: 20502606

I am rejecting this response because: how can you say it is producing right on track when those pictures clearly show the front row panels ARE NOT producing nearly what the others are. I am not waiting another 7-8 months to see what the end of the first year yes.. nor am I trimming trees that have been there for many mant years as they were when the panels were installed. I will be taking this to the next step if you do not step up and do the right thing. Good leap will also be included and notified that I will not be paying g a loan for 25 years do.to your companies incompetent installers and lack of good faith to make things right.

    Sincerely,

There is no monthly guarantee in your contract. You have a yearly production that is included in your contract and we have no current concerns on you meeting that yearly production.

    Complaint: 20502606

I am rejecting this response because:
No one said anything about a monthly contract. Once again the pictures are clear that some panels are not producing. I have already spoken with a contract law attorney. The contract is only valid if the product is producing as it should. That is clearly not happening as the pictures of the panels with the production shows it. I am really trying to avoid this getting any uglier but if you insist on ignoring the proof then I will have no choice but to take legal action. This has been dragged out way too long. I Will also be filing more complaints with other consumer departments. This is so unnecessary if your company just did the job right the first time. Now you won't even come and make things right. Sorry I ever did business with this company as well as Blue Energy as their sales man lied to numerous people and made  promises he could not keep therefor being terminated. Bad business on both ends.
    Sincerely,

    *****************************

Company sent a technician out to my house to install a back up battery and ever since he left I have received 2 light bills notating that the my system is not functioning because my bill has gone back up to how it was prior to me having solar panels installed. Not only do I have to pay these light bills but also the company who did the loan from guardian for the panels. Its been nothing but a headache ever since i had these installed and I wish I never got them now because of all the constant stalling and waiting in a meantime Im paying a loan on a system not functioning properly that last 2 months. I received an email about a tech coming out but I have no date , no time and feel that this need to be expedited. If anything they should be liable for the extra charges i have incurred from their tech turning off my system. Looking at the e phase app my system hasnt produced any energy since May 23, 2023.

We are very sorry and take full responsibility for the issue with your system. We have the electrician scheduled to go out to your home tomorrow 7/27 to diagnose the problem. I understand your frustration and will be sending you a check to cover your last 2 loan payments for your solar system. Again, we are very sorry and will have your system back up and running as soon as possible.

I received an email from Guardian Solar for an invoice for a cancellation order that was never placed nor solicited at any point by myself or anyone in my house. I have never heard of this company, sought a bid from them, or engaged with them in any way, yet I received an email asking me to pay a 3% cancellation fee for a contract that never existed. I would like confirmation from this company that this is fraudulent and that I have never asked for or received a bid let alone a contract from this business.

You signed our contract with a rep from Bluenergy on 7/15/22. We have the signed contract and all back up documentation from that sale. You can reach out to us directly anytime with questions. ************
