My 77 year old mother and i went to Alfa Used Cars on ridgewood ave to look at a car i saw online. When we arrived we met Possan the owner. The car i wanted was sold and he told us about another "great, low milage jeep liberty that just came in from auction. He kept telling us how honest he was and how happy all his customers were with him. We believed him--unfortunately. He said it had been in an accident sometime in the past 10 years and had been sitting and the owner had gotten a payout for a totalled vehicle. He said car checked out great, just bumper damage and had super low milage, just needed to be detailed. So he said come back tomorrow after it gets tuned up and detailed around 1 pm. I called him the next day and he said come 2:30, 3. We arrived at 3 ish and detailer was still there. Looked it over, started it up and gave him a check. As soon as we left all the dashboard lights came on and said needs oil change. I called him immediately and asked him about the fact he said all that would be done and he said we came to soon he didnt have time to get anything done so we needed to go get an oil change and he would send a check for 150$ along with my title to winter park, which is my address. We were in ormond beach at the time so we got oil changed at Take 5 and they could not check transmission and hole was in windshield wiper tank and oil was black. It drove fine in town but the second we hit I95 at 60 my rpm's shot up to 4500. I pulled over and called my friend and he said to return the car and get mine back. I did call and Possan told me that it was my problem. Since then the car has been in and out of **************** for several problemes and thousands of dollars including all new tires because they were dry rotted. My mistake was believing Possan ***** and not having the car checked out prior to buying. We had to get back to Orlando because I had a tooth infection and was in severe pain. I did a google review but he had it removed.

Customer came with her mom to the lot to buy a car that was sold the day before, she asked me if I'll have any nice suv coming soon with low mileage, I told her I'll have a 2012 jeep liberty has only 23k miles coming the second day from Miami, I explained that the car is rebuilt title means it's been in a prior accident and the owner claimed it through the insurance, I also explained that the car will be sold as is no warranty, she agreed to those terms and signed the paperwork. The car worth $10k I sold it to her only for $7k plus tax and tag, my cost was $6500 so I made profit $500 and that's more than fair.
On the other hand she wanted to trade in here 2003 ford escape that beat up from the front and rear, she said the only problem is leak from power steering, I trusted her and gave her $1000 for the trade in value, end up that the leak is from the engine, by the time we drove it to the auction to sell it the engine was locked up and I sold it to the junkyard for $300 losing $700.
Overall I made $500 profit and I lost $700 so at the end I didn't brake even I lost $200.
On top of that I send her a check for $150 towards oil change because when she came to pick the car up I didn't have a chance to change oil, was just arrived from the auction and it was detailing while she arrived.
I learned from that situation that when you are too nice with people they take advantage of you.
