Stayed at the motel for a holiday that they are normal completely booked for. Reserved the room online and chose a pay when you arrive option. Was called the day before we were supposed to check on and was told that we had to pay right now over the phone to save our room. We agreed and paid over the phone. The day of check out I had to leave the resort for a few hours but accidentally took the card that we booked the room with, with me. So when my husband went to extend the room they racial profiles him from the moment he walked in. The staff was dismissive and did nothing to try and problem solve but simply escalated the situation by being extremely rude. They could have offered us an extended check out and I would have furnushied the card when I got back to the motel. Instead the kicked my husband and my daughter out of the room and they had to stay on the beach for two hours on the hottest day in the history of the earth.. just because he didnt have the card that at this point they have on file. We felt discriminated against because they offered to let us pay for the room over the phone originally, so they could have offered that again. But because my husband is black I truly feel they assumed he was into some scam without giving him a chance. I just want to warn consumers about this more especially if your African American
