    I contracted Nationwide Movers in the Florida location to move items nationally. I paid the deposit with a credit card. The contract was given to "Top 10 Van Lines" also based in Florida. Pickup was originally for Tuesday. On Tuesday I received a call that it would be Wednesday between 3:30 - 4:30. About 4 pm on Wednesday I received a call that it would be Thursday between 8:30-9:00. At 9:30 I called them and they said it would be around noon-which is when they finally showed up. Vehicle trouble was all they said. Items were packed for shipment. Communication was very poor. After 19 days in the new location I emailed them looking for more information. I received a **** email message saying when they were in transit they would contact me. Also they now said final payment MUST be in CASH or POSTAL MONEY Order. At 6:30 pm on Thanksgiving I received a text saying they were arriving at 8:30 the next morning. After contact with "Top 10", Nationwide Movers would not respond to calls or texts ever again. The only positive were the actual packers on both ends were careful. But on the delivery side they "forget their tool kit". They put the table in place but I had to screw it together. I would NOT use them again.

    WORSE company EVER!! they don't even deserve the one star. I'm so irate I've done this review a few times because I keep running out of space! so I guess I have to narrow it down. Our furniture was picked up on SEPTEMBER 15th from Florida and delivered to Portland Oregon on NOVEMBER 8th! . The first two weeks in Portland we stayed in a hotel had all the arrangements of our delivery on OCTOBER 1st we paid the city to block parking, reserved the elevator and dock and asked NATIONWIDE for insurance information which they sent us. 5 days prior to the 1st we called again for status only to be told that our stuff was still in FLORIDA! all because of this HIDDEN CLAUSE that NO ONE ever explained to us had they explained we would of made other arrangements with another company, They told us that OCTOBER 1st was the first deliver date available but it can take up to 30 business days from that date. ***!!!!!! so basically we were moving in to an empty apartment looking at NOVEMBER 1st delivery. We slept on air mattresses and basically ate out every night because we had NOTHING! Everytime we called for updates we went in circles, no one would call us back like they said until I threatened to sue them with a lawyer. Another person told me that our stuff was on a pallet because we only filled up 800 sq ft of the truck so we have to wait for them to fill it first before it can leave, Then I was told they had no drivers I mean SERIOUSLY we pay for a service that they can't provide its RIDICULOUS. Then your not only dealing with NATIONWIDE, but SAFEBOUND picked up and PRINCZ MOVERS delivered. When my stuff was finally delivered I was blown away of how mistreated and mishandled our stuff was I will say that 50% of our boxes were smashed, my dresser has a damage, my sons box spring was smashed has a smashed corner, my coffee table was completely bent, I can go on and on as I am running out of room again PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I wouldn't wish this HELL on anyone.

    DO NOT USE EVER. Worst moving company ever. They mislead, overcharge and are the most unprofessional company I have ever interacted with. ****** who handles sales and may be the president-gives false information on delivery timelines and estimated cost. My actual cost was significantly higher than quoted and yet my piece count/items was exactly as I provided. They charged for higher cube rate and long haul. Their customer service/dispatch ******* is awful. Provides bad information on timing of delivery, and is rude. The company doesn't answer their phone or respond to emails. Worst experience ever. Items arrived broken, damaged and missing items. Read all the other reviews-do not use this company!!

    The customer booked a job and was notified that are no guaranteed delivery dates .She booked a move for 5/23 and never stopped calling from that day to confirm her delivery date. She was told many times no date was guaranteed and was offered her money back. She accepted that.******************* had a price for a list of items she had additional items and was charged for them on the pickup date. If she has damages she can call and file a claim.

    The response back from Nationwide on my original review is not accurate. While I called and emailed multiple times to the company-the reason I had to do this is because they did not respond to my inquiries either via email or phone. The information on my delivery date was different than what was verbally told to me and what I have written in an email from ******. I was never offered my money back as they stated. After my items were picked up, and I learned that my delivery date was not guaranteed even within a week-I was offered 2 options. One was to pay an additional $3k for a guaranteed date or to come pick my items out of storage. I did have a list of items and an estimate price for my move. My original list and the actual list were exactly the same. There were not additional pieces included. The movers told me that the cube of the truck was greater than quoted thus the additional charge. I know that my experience is not the only one-see all of the reviews written on yelp, ******* etc. Horrible, dishonest company that is extremely unprofessional.
