      Terrible dishonest thievesDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY as they quoted a price of $2800 removed several pieces of furniture and 40 plus boxes onto my driveway then decided there was a problem with the price at 9:00pm. They wanted to charge $6000 and after an hour of back n forth I had to settle $5000 as I had to be out the following morning @ 10 am and they were 4 hours late to begin with. Following morning they show up and truck was loaded by 3:30pm truck breaks down in driveway, were late for an 11:00am closing. We had to leave to arrive at attorney office. Took over a week for the delivery from Georgia to SC. Finally get to storage unit to unload a year later and find out several pieces damaged art work destroyed and several items missing. They left a 200 year old ************* glass curio cabinet unwrapped as well as a 4by 8canvas which was destroyed torn and left unwrapped. I have moved 7 times and have never had any problems until I used Cross States moving **** ************* ********* ** *****. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Can not leave a review without a star ratingthis company does not deserve a star but had to leave one so I could post thisif I could afford to file charges I WOULD. BEWARE find another company

      This is a horrible company. Do not use for anything. They contract the move out to foreign nationals that don't speak english. They couldn't take all my stuff because they never contacted me to update my furnishing requirements before they arrived to load my belongings. Had to leave a lot of things I wanted to take because they had no room. they loaded my computer in a box, it doesn't work along with my printer. It took them a month to deliver my belongings, from Calif to Utah. They dropped my belongings off at the top of the driveway, right out of the back of the rental van. This is the worst company in the world - do not use!!!!

      This company is a ****. On phone they tell me price around $1600. While collecting items they billed me for $2700.
      Now while shipping they come to my apartment with 18 wheel semi truck and said there is no space here to park the semi and it will obstruct the traffic. There was plenty of space. But then **** was revealed, they said they need to bring shuttle and I need to pay $250. Then they charged me $70 per 70 foot walking. They are the **********. Don't sign any documents with them. They are threatening me to put my stuff in storage. I have no option but pay them.

      I would highly advise anyone to stay far away from this company as possible. The communication is extremely poor. I called to inquire about the delivery status of my furniture on the following dates:

      I have ALWAYS been the initiator of each call. During each call, I was informed that my furniture was at a Georgia storage location and awaiting a truck to be transferred to LA. I was assured by each representative that I would receive a call once my furniture has been placed on a truck AND once it was en-route to LA. I also stated that I would need to be notified at least 1 day in advance to be present for the delivery. Each representative assured me that I would be contacted.

      However, I never received a call or text to update me on whether or not 1) The furniture had been loaded and 2) the approximate date of delivery.

      On 7/3/2021 at 8:39 AM, I received a call from the delivery representative (on a holiday weekend) stating that my furniture would be delivered within 2 hours. After informing the representative that I was not in town and I had not received a call regarding my delivery, she stated that I would either be charged a redelivery fee or storage fee. I inquired if the items could be delivered at 3 PM (as it would give me enough time to travel back to LA). She stated the following: "It's the holiday! The drivers need to travel back to Florida to be with their families. They won't wait for you." I was also told that I would need to pay the rest of the balance (including storage cost) before I could receive the location and passcode ** retrieve my furniture. I was also informed that I would need to hire ANOTHER moving company to deliver my furniture to its final destination. This is unacceptable! I am confused as to why I (the customer) was penalized, as I attempted to be extremely proactive by calling to ask when my furniture would be delivered.

      This company held my furniture "hostage" for over 22 days. I had to pay the full balance before retrieving my items. Upon retrieving my items from the storage unit, I found several cuts in my leather sofa. They also broke my bed's headboard and several other pieces of furniture. It was apparent that the movers "threw" my furniture into the unit without any regards to what it was and care needed. I have pictures to prove this!

      Please know that this ordeal has been a huge inconvenience and the lack of communication and professionalism with this company has been unacceptable.
