On 10/06/2022 I sent the airbag control module from my 2006 GMC ****** **** to Recover safety. After paying $52 in advance (order # R173603326) they were supposed to reset the module and remove any crash data.After speaking to one of their technicians a week later he informed me my module was non-serviceable and they would refund my money. This complaint is not about my impending refund. (yet)I spoke to another company that performs the same services and they assured me my module could be reset.I have asked Recover safety three times (via voice mail and messages on their website)to send my old module back to me because I want a second opinion and I have not got a response.I think they are trying to keep it so they can reset it and sell it for a large profit.A new module and the programming service needed costs over $600, so I would like to be positive my old one is non-serviceable before I purchase a new one.*********************** 10/17/2023 ********************* ************
