I am registered as an independent contractor mystery shopper with Elite CX Solutions LLC. On November 15, 2024, I performed a shop at ************ at the *************** in **. Elite agreed to compensate me $10 plus a reimbursement for the required purchase. I completed the shop as they requested. Elite generated an invoice and agreed to compensate me $169.95. To date, I have not been compensated. On December 13, 2024, I performed a shop at ************ at the ******************* in ****, **. Elite agreed to compensate me $10 plus a reimbursement for the required purchase. I completed the shop as they requested. Elite generated an invoice and agreed to compensate me $179.50. To date, I have not been compensated. Elite owes me $349.45 in total. I have emailed and called requesting payment, but I have been largely ignored. In November and December of 2024 I paid for products on behalf of the business. They were supposed to reimburse me by 12/15/24 and 1/15/25. I have pay statements that indicate $525 is owed to me from Elite CXS. Pay statement 162 and pay statement 163 for their reference. I have reached out to them multiple times via email and by phone. No one is providing an update or payment. They appear to be ignoring me. This business feels like a part of a scam.They continue to post opportunities online claiming they will pay you in exchange for your services. However, they are not providing payment. There are multiple complaints online about them as this seems to be worsening. They are taking advantage of those in a financial bind and signing up to perform services for them. They need to make payment or shut down their scam business. They cannot be trusted to run a proper business. They cannot be trusted to abide by the agreements they sign.Initial Complaint

I completed three mystery shops for them totalling $145 and was not paid. I tried contacting them four times and kept getting shuffled between departments. I also tried contacting the place where I did the shops but they said they didn't deal with that.Initial Complaint

I have carried out work as a shopper/researcher for Elite CXS. I have been owed 1500 GBP for work in September 2024. This money is money I have paid out that needs to be refunded to me. It was payment for a cruise, with various costs that I was instructed to undertake. I have sent many emails to CEO ***** *******. Most go unanswered. Those that are, contain promises of payment that never materialise. This is a highly unprofessional company with either clear financial issues, or else questionable practises meaning they never intend to pay their shoppers. I conducted two shops for Elite CXS in October of 2024. According to their pay policy I was to be reimbursed by December 2024. It is now mid-February and I have not been reimbursed. They owe me a total of $410.15. I have attempted to reach out to them on multiple occasions. The few times they have responded they claim they will pay me and then no one responds. I have even talked to the owner of the company, ***** *******. I have filed disputes with my credit card for both charges and filed a report with the ***. The *** did not assist other than a response saying thank you for reporting. The owner of the company claims the hurricane last year is why they haven't paid, however, upon further research, independent contractors have been writing poor reviews on the company that they have not been paid since February of last year. They are still posting jobs and contractors are doing the work yet they are not getting paid. I have completed several mystery shops for this company. In 2023, I had some difficulty with the company paying me for my services, but they did respond to my complaints and had me complete a Tipalti account. In 2024, I completed a mystery shop in January, June, and again in November. They failed to pay me for all 3 shops, which were successfully completed, and I am now owed $351.27. Since November of 2024, I have emailed the company over 15 times and left over 10 voicemails. Early on, I received a few email responses, one of which re-requested that I complete a form stating I hadn't been paid, which I promptly completed. ***** ******* responded to one email on 12/30, stating that "You should have been on the last pay run now that you are setup in the payment system. I will make sure accounting has you included in this week's pay run.". I also spoke to him over the phone the same day--the one time he actually answered the phone (multiple voicemails were NOT returned). He stated I was on the list of individuals to be paid the week of 12/30. It is now 1/23/25, and I have yet to be paid. ***** is not responding to my voicemails nor is he responding to my emails. It is very sad that a company can still be in business when they refuse to pay their contract workers for work successfully completed.
