  Avoid at all costs. Still trying to get money back that he owes me.

  This person "*******************" is a ficticious name for a former client *************. He has already submitted a BBB review to which we responded."We signed a contract with ************************* and he postponed the job for 8 months while we completed his parents remodel, to which they were completely satisfied. We waited for him to get prepared to start the bathroom remodel. When we commenced the bathroom remodel, we required the client to provide vanity, fixtures, tile/grout for the layout of the project. This allows the job to continue without delay but regarding his project, it never happened. ************************* was adamant about starting the job and when we conducted the walk through, he was advised to have all materials on site. We were not allowed to walk through his home, and we were told to go the long way around the house to the back to conduct a demolition. The demo was conducted and during the demo we found rotten wood behind an area of a wall. The client was informed of the rotten wood to which this is now considered an additional cost to repair. ************************* also wanted a change order that involved a load bearing wall. He didn't agree with the price of the change order and was not happy. ************************* was unable to decide on that change order which stalled our bathroom remodel job, but in the meantime, he had the wood flooring guys come in and lay flooring against our direction. Jobs are to be conducted from the ceiling , walls and flooring last as you complete the project. Now he is on social media blast with slanderous statements and not willing to take responsibility for not having all required materials we want from the checklist on site. I, ***** McCue personally told him to have it all onsite. He requested we pick up and deliver all his items. Per our agreement, we do not deliver a clients personal order due to liability issues. He terminated our contract via email, and we refunded his balance minus our demo conducted via certified mail."

  We hired ***** McCue to redo our kitchen. It was a disaster from the beginning: causing a flood in our home, taking much longer than promised/never finished, ruining our original hardwood floors, incorrectly installing countertops, breaking our stove, billing us for work they never performed, and then sending harassing and threatening messages demanding money when we were still waiting for them to complete the project. It was so bad we had to contact the police. They then put a lien on our house and we have been in this legal battle for 2 years. When we then looked into reviews we found we weren't alone:- This business over-promises and under-delivers.- charge you for jobs that they do not complete- ******** McCue believes he is accountable to no one- Deposited a large amount of my money in his account and then did not honor the deal nor did he pay back the amount he said he would- Worst experienceMitch talks a great game. Cant rely on his word or performance- Highly disappointedDO NOT USE THIS COMPANY- good luck getting the job done on time or getting any kind of cooperation whatsoever from him- quality of work was VERY poorvery poorly run- Again I do not trust ***** McCue and would never use his company again- Dealing with them was a constant nightmareMcCue is no stranger to the court system. This is what public record shows: - American experess currently (2023) pursuing McCue for $50,000 in relation to an unpaid >$100,000 credit card bill - McCue being sued (2023) by Ocean 14 *************** for >$40,000 for failure to provide agreed and paid-for work for the association - McCue was foreclosed on in 2013 - McCue was sued in 2008 for failing to split the proceeds from a joint venture If anyone else has had these kinds of experiences, I would be interested in helping you get your money back.

  This is ***** McCue. I am the owner of Home Services by McCue of North Florida, Inc. (HSM). HSM is compelled to respond so that its silence is not construed as agreement with Dr. **************** accusations. HSM entered into a contract with **************** and her husband to do a kitchen remodel. The county inspected HSMs work and issued a Certificate of Occupancy. **************** and her husband have not paid HSM for the work. HSM vehemently disputes the issues raised by **************** which are the subject matter of ongoing litigation.

  I am not sure what happened to this company. I read all of the positive reviews before we hired them for a home remodel and am now wondering if the reviews were just from friends or family or AI generated. Before you read any further please realize that I have only left a handful of reviews in my life, but felt compelled to leave one for this.We received a lot of promises from McCue but the quality of the work was VERY poor, the workers hardly ever worked (and hung out in our driveway mostly) with zero over site by McCue, and the best part was that the work took 6 months longer than were we told. We must have exchanged 100 calls and texts in order to actually get this company to do their work, but in the end we are left with a barely functioning HVAC, construction waste everywhere, and uncaulked trim that is hanging sideways (not the look that we were going for).We were told when we initially started the job that this would be about an 8 week job ("we are over supply chain issues"). After 8 months of hearing about excuses as to why the job was not complete, we were through with them. We were told that the broken new HVAC (that they installed) was going to be replaced. In fact, McCue said that they installed a new unit because the initial new unit that they installed, did not work properly. After checking this out for myself, they in fact did NOT replace the unit as I was told. When I called him out of this, he said that he was then unsure if the unit was actually replaced and needed to check with an employee that he supposedly manages. I believe that this was a deliberate lie. This company promises way more that it can actually deliver and is very poorly ran. Do yourself a big favor and keep searching for someone else.

  ***** has always helped me and my family. His company does excellent work. Painting, remodel, general contracting.... They do almost everything. A true one stop shop! I had them work on my home, my rental properties, and my Mom's house. Long time local company.
