Horrible bank, please read this before considering banking with them. They flagged me for fraud against MYSELF, and now hang up the phone when I call them to fix their own error. I wanted to close my account and wanted the funds immediately. So I tried to zelle the funds from my OWN account to an external account that I ALSO OWN. They contacted me, said I cant do that. I apologized, cancelled the transaction and submitted a wire. Then about a week later the bank I was sending the money too (***** Fargo) contacts me saying I lost access to mobile banking and zelle. Apparently even though I confirmed with Everbank that It was me sending the funds and it was NOT fraudulent activity, they submitted it as fraud and got me banned from Zelle, now I call ***** Fargo and Zelle and they keep saying the only institution that can close out this claim is Everbank. Yet I keep calling them and explaining the situation, and they HANG UP on me. Yea, an issue that their own incompetence created, and now they have the nerve to hang up on me instead of resolving it like professionals. So now I cant use zelle, a service Ive relied on for years because of Everbank incompetence and poor customer service. Also **********************, ***** Fargo submitted a response to your investigation, so thats all you need to close it out. This whole experience with Everbank has been nothing short of a nightmare.Review from Stephen H

Im in a dispute with this Bank. I closed my accounts and was informed on May 1st that I would receive my refund of $4600 in seven to ten business days. As of May 13th, I was told my account was still under review and have not received my refund. I was told in so many words, not to call them and that they would reach out to me perhaps that sane day. Its now three business days later, no call, no email, no refund. Unbelievably poor customer service.*******************************,*********, ** *****Review from KC C

I am done waiting. I wish TIAA never sold out to EverBank. Managing my CDs has become a nightmare. I have call EVERY TIME a cd matures, and because I ladder a bunch of CDs... that's every month and sometimes a couple times a month. They no longer offer where I can add more funds, so there goes treating it like a high yield savings account. They make you listen to long drawn out confirmation statements. I've kept holding out for them to get their website up and running because I have been a die hard TIAA CREF customer...but I can't take the inconvenience of EverBank. I am tired of this. EverBank you lost a long time customerReview from Sue W

This bank is a joke. They withheld money for months due to an inheritance. They wanted a letter on how the funds were to be disbursed. That wasn't good enough. We had to hire a lawyer to draft a letter of disbursement, and to my amazement they still got it wrong. Next, 1 sibling walked into one of their banks to hand them the letter on his disbursement only to be told they couldn't do anything with the letter and it had to be mailed. They handed him a self addressed envelope to be mailed which they claim they never received. After going back and forth for 5 months we finally got our money after jumping through about 100 hoops to get what was *********** us. Stay far away! This site made me pick a star. If it were up to me, this bank would be in the negative.Review from sophie a

This bank holds our mortgage (not by choice) and so far has gotten our taxes wrong 2 years in a row causing a shortage and an overage respectively. I have had to call and spend countless hours on the phone with them each week to correct the issue; I have even three way called the *********** Tax collector to confirm my taxes yet Everbank is not capable of accurately representing my taxes in my monthly payments. Logic has it that my apartment is appraised at an amount that hasn't changed and the taxes in ** haven't increased yet they increased $8k for the year. This is causing endless frustration and time wasted for me. It doesn't appear that anyone at Everbank is able to get it right, and to this day I am still calling them weekly with no successful resolution.Review from John A

This "bank" is new and they are sort of a bank that was part of TIAA and they are terrible....still do not have their own website and are so bad they never should have been allowed to open up and do business. They are attached to TIAA where so many of us have our 401K and other retirement accounts so we are stuck with this horrible bank....I have been trying to make a wire transfer for two days and they will not send my own money to the account I have told them to send it...it is a law firm but they do not like my reasons for sending money to that law firm so they will not send it.....I am so mad and they have caused me to lose a fortune and this place should be shut down NOW!Review from Craig Hamilton J

Their customer service if horrible! You will get an idiotic monkey on the phone when you call. You will be on the phone for 45+ minutes and they will literally tell you to go online and fill out a form. The laziness is unconscionable!!!******* said "is there anything else I can help you with?" She did not help or answer a single question in a hour phone call that was about correcting my mailing address. A mistake made by one of employees. Since opening my account I have not had access to my money or received one piece of correspondence from them and they do not care. Find another bank that values you as a client. Everbank absolutely will not.Review from Arda J

Getting my money back from Everbank is a joke. When my CD matured on 1/17, I contacted them and asked that they transfer the funds to another bank. They don't do that. The alternative was for them to mail me a check. Today marks day 12 and still no check. This morning Everbank confirm that, yes, the check was placed in the mail on the 18th, and it's their policy to do nothing until 14 days have passed. To which I responded that it doesn't take that long for mail delivery, unless they forgot to put a postal stamp on the envelope. So I asked if I don't receive the check in the next 2 days, they will take action? N O ! According to Everbank, their 14 day count is based on business days. Incredible, pathetic bank. You can be sure that when my other CDs mature I'll be closing them and NEVER doing business with EVERBANK againReview from Greg L

The customer service at ********************** is terrible. I have been locked out of my account on their website for about 2 months now. I have called them constantly and have been continually promised that the problem will be fixed soon, but nothing has happened. About a week ago, I asked that they send a document to my email (since I could not access the webpage) but it has yet to arrive. Once again, I made almost daily calls and got empty promises. Yesterday, I asked that that the document be sent to me via paper mail. I hope it arrives.************Review from Amy M

This bank needs to be investigated immediately. I want someone to look into their shady business practices. I have not been able to see my online account since November 2023. When I log on the screen is blank. I've been on hold with the web team for over an hour. My next step is to call the ****************.
