      I have been paying Ovation $109 every month for 3 or 4 months I believe. They have done nothing for my credit, and when I called last month to cancel, they tried to convince me to stay. I did not want to stay, and I asked to cancel. They did not in fact cancel and they charged me again today, taking the last of the money I had in my bank account. I am a pregnant woman and I’m struggling financially. Ovation services is predatory and unhelpful.

      Save your time and money… this company could care less about their customers. The first phone call was good talked to a gentleman and he was pleasant to deal with.. told me I can start up for 90 bucks and moving forward would be 110. I was skeptical and he promised if I wasn’t satisfy with the care I received, I would be able to get a refund. So I decided to give them a chance and signed up. Sense that phone call I have not been contacted by anyone at all no case manager or anything. They want your login to your ******** so they can see your information…I thought that was weird but gave it to them… all my credit has done sense they started working on it has gone down.. I understand it’s a process but at least a phone call once a month to let you know what’s going on.. they want you to tell them how to dispute and go about stuff.. it’s like isn’t that your job and if you worked closely with ******** and ********** and ******* why do you need my logins to access my information… they charged my card again yesterday.. and still haven’t reach out I called and canceled. Due to the lack of service and how they all don’t really care.. all they want is that monthly fee and don’t want you to cancel… the rep on the phone acted like we are making progress but couldn’t tell me what has even happened.. I want a full refund. I would be better just using this money to pay off my collections. Do not do business with this company they don’t care about you at all.. no follow up on their end. They just tell you what you want to hear to get you to sign up.. why tell your customers you can cancel and get a refund if you are not happy if that is not true shady….

      When we learned of your complaint, we found your account was open only 30 days, far less that the average 6-8 months needed to optimize credit profiles.  Please understand that credit bureaus have 45 days to respond so you closed your account before we could expect complete results.  Often when credit bureaus respond, it’s not in the consumer’s favor. 
      In your case, however, we’re pleased to tell you that we were successful removing three negative items from two bureaus.

      I was contacted by this company last month and they said they could help me dispute some things off of my credit report. After they checked my credit report they said they would charge me $109 a month for the services and I agreed to pay that that day. They were trying to reach out to me but they were calling from and number I didn't know so I didn't answer. Here we are this month, I'm being charged again for them to do absolutely nothing to dispute anything off my credit so I called to get a refund and then the lady wanted to tell me that I only had 1 thing that was on my credit report that they could dispute for a lower amount, but they knew that, the day I signed up. She then transferred me to client relations and he was a bit snobby and told me that they don't offer refunds because it was out of the 5 day bracket, but nothing on their website states that and the lady I spoke with before him never said that. After telling him I was canceling the services he kept asking me why therefore I respond by saying I didn't need the services just like I told the lady and she tells him that its because of financial reasons in which I never told her that, and he proceeded to to get snobbish with me because I kept saying they could just refund my money and close the account and I would be fine, he then stated they don't issue refunds before hanging up on me. I didn't appreciate how that was handled and I would just like to have my money back because I was basically being charged for having an open account.

      We were disappointed to receive your complaint.  Normally, we would have contacted you by phone to apologize and make right but wanted to honor your request not to be contacted.

      While with us for only about a month, your refund of $124 was issued Tuesday 6/21 to your card on file ending in 21.
      We invoice clients the same way mobile phones or entertainment cable bill their customers in that we prorate final invoice to reflect any partial month of service.  Our apology that we didn’t make this clear to you.

      On average, clients are with us 6-8 months to optimize results. This is because credit bureaus can take up to 45 days (sometimes longer) before responding to our disputes, and when they do, it’s not always favorable.  We’re very proud of the success we’ve had more thousands of clients, but every credit profile is different.

      2/28- spoke to Ovation Credit and was informed they would send a letter out regarding credit repair. Now a month later I called to ask them if the letter was sent out and all they sa** were no they were sorry and wanted to offer a discount. When I asked for my month's payment back they d**n't want to give it to me, which is not acceptable. I want services rendered for what I pa** for. Also, they d**n't tell me they needed an updated Experian credit report, they have done this before and gave me a credit. I am also paying for my son's credit repair. I don't have money to be spending like this I have cancer treatment. I want my $100 back for this past month that nothing was done in repairing my credit. They are slowing this down on purpose to drag it out and make more money. Ovation Client **: ******

      Feb 3, 2022 I started service with ovation. I was told if I canceled before the first of the month I would not be charged. I did decide to keep at the time and allowed the new month of service to be billed for march. Which I was and that is ok. However when I requested to cancel 3/28/2022 so I wouldn’t be billed April. I got charged again. So that is two months of fees for one month work. I would like a full refund. I have included screenshots of both payments taken out in the month of march.

      Ive paid for about 10 months service. In the months of service there is a big lack of communication between customer and service provider. Ive seen nothing delete off credit report nor did credit score change. I just wont my money back

      We had quite a bit of success on your credit reports and wanted to review those with you along with other changes shown on your credit reports that may have adversely impacted your credit score.  Unable to reach you, we refunded your January and February payments directly to your credit card.  The remaining balance will be mailed from our accounting office to your home.  Please note that receipt of the mailed check will require your signature.

      Around September or October of 2021 Ovation contacted me to repair my credit. I told them I just need a little help to get qualified to buy ** backed home loan and asked if they could produce results within 2 months do I could move family out of tiny studio and into home or condo *** provide decent Christmas for my 5 yr old daughter they replied ( after looking at my credit) “ don’t see why not!” So with that assurance I agreed to pay $109 per month. Instead what I got was told to get certain types of loans and so on to help myself. They accomplished nothing. I ended up improving my scores just shy of my goal on my own by paying down credit card utilization sndbon time payments. I replied to thrirb emails few months ago telling them we need to discuss this. They never replied they only called me because I had to close my card on file because of fraudulent use and do they couldn’t take the payment. Out. I told the ************************** thsts another department snd still never heard. This morning I got a call again i told them this snd I wasn’t old I would have to call in ! I was on the phone with them. I asked why no response to my email? She said oh we dont reply to email. A SCAM!!! Please do not let them do this to others. They’ve gotten over $400 from me for doing nothing. Thank you ******** ********

      I wanted to look into different options for buying a house. I was in contact with rent to own companies that recommended ovation credit services. I reached out to them and decided against using them. They have harrassed me non stop ever since I reached out to them. I have 4 to 8 voicemails daily from this company. I have 2 little kids and need my phone line open and voicemail to be empty if a doctors office or anyone needs to get through to me. I have asked them to stop calling me and to stop leaving voicemails. It has only gotten worse. I am considering changing my number to stop the calls. If this is the way they conduct business they should not be backed by the BBB. If you think this is an ok way to conduct business then you should be ashamed. Sorry the pictures attatched I changed their name in my phone to "******" I blocked them and asked them to stop and they have not. This is the 2nd list I had. I attatched the 1st list too.       I paid one month of credit service and not a penny more because I was unhappy with service. After never speaking with anyone from ovation credit servics 4 months later they debited my account for $120 without my authorization. Thats theft.

      I paid for 9 months of credit repair...they said they would dispute all 3 credit bureaus they only contacted 2. This is a terrible service...they did not do what they advertised. They also said they do everything to resolve matters yet they stopped sending letters when they where verified...when I told them I wanted a refund they wanted me to continue paying because they will get, "more aggressive with dispute letters." Total scam! I want a partial refund!
