The vendor did not file my case in a timely manner and neglected key elements required for the case to proceed. In addition, they did not provide status updates despite several attempts by me to obtain them. They are negligent in their duties and have been terminated. A new firm was hired to restart this process at additional expense to me. They were hired on 12/22/23 to perform these services, and nearly a month later they have not been completed, and the little bit of work that has been done has not been completed properly. I've since terminated my relationship with them and started over with another company. In addition to the money I paid FL Landlord Network, I lost 24 days of productive use of my property, which equals $929.03 in revenue. And, I had to pay another provider to begin the eviction process $400.

This matter concerns a tenant eviction in Duval County Florida.  On December 22, 2023, we received a request for an eviction from *** *****. We have done many evictions for him in the past.

We electronically filed the eviction on 12/22/23 via the state portal and paid the court filing fees, which is routine. We suspect the holidays slowed the approval process which was completed on 1/2/24. All of the required documents were correctly filed and confirmed via email by the Clay County Clerk of Court.

The Clerk of Court approved and Issued the documents.  We then transmitted them via email to our Civil Process server on 1/2/24. Again, routine. On or about 1/10/24 *** ***** inquired about the status of the case. He was told that we do not have the Return of Service yet, which is not uncommon at this stage of an eviction.  That document would tell us the time and date the eviction documents were Served on the Tenants.

The next day we inquired with the Process Server about the status, but they could not find the documents.  We sent them again. They acknowledged having received them on or about 1/11/24. After two attempts at person service by the Server the documents were posted at the property on 1/17.

It is unfortunate that the Server did not receive the Documents the first time. This caused a delay of approximately a week.  We don't know who to blame for that.
My ***** became emotional during a phone call on or about 1/15 demanding immediate Service and updates.  As we have no control of the Process Service, this was not possible. Now we have this complaint which is disappointing given the actual events.

Apparently, *** ***** employed a different company to file the case a second time.  This is out of control emotion gone amuck as all of the fees have been paid (this is not in dispute), the case has been properly filed (while *** ***** clams otherwise, we have email confirmation from the Clerk), and the tenant has been served.  Under normal circumstances, we would expect a conclusion to this case in about ten days.

As the vast majority of the fee *** ***** paid this company was filing fees, and since the approximately one week delay in service could not be helped, there will be no refund.

       Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because this information is not accurate. Read through my email string which I previously attached. And, the eviction was not in Duval County.

The delays are entirely unacceptable. I have the right to be upset when my time and money is wasted.

      Regards,

      ******* *****

A third party landlord eviction company. HORRIBLE communication, wanted to get paid by check as he claims hes had to many issues with credit cards and third party, phone payments, etc. Once he got paid completely unresponsive. Said he would file paperwork Feb 4th,didn't file until the 18th 2 WEEKS LATTER. Also the paper work he filed wasn't correct and wasn't even close to what was needed for the eviction. Ive emailed, called, text no respone. So my headache of a horrible non paying tenant was only amplified and doubleb by using this guy.
