Purchased car January 21st 2024. Paint started peeling within weeks of purchase. Complained to dealership in June about the issue with the paint. I was given a case number #******** and was never contacted back. I have tried to call and my calls have been dodged, I have went up to the dealership over 4 times and they have all refused to speak to me regarding the issue, and I have contacted Honda support which has done nothing. It is now December and my paint is still peeling everywhere. Im paying $500 a month/$20,000 loan on a car that will be rusted within a year.

Okay, let's begin, on February 16th of 2024 I signed papers to purchase a used car, a Volkswagen 2013 CC Passat, from Coggin on Atlantic with ******* *****. Not even a week or two later I was being asked to come back up to Honda to resign papers. This time, the same sales person was unavailable so I spoke with ***** ****** who assisted me in lowering my car payment and signing me up for the warranty I have included in the email. Not even a month later, I was having issues with the car. The rear driver side tire was losing air faster than any of the other tires and there was an AFS light that kept popping up. This is when I started taking the car up to Honda to have it looked at. I asked ****** ***** if they could please look at my oil so that I can just verify that it had been changed when I had bought the car as there were obviously issues that weren't resolved prior to the car being sold. He said that if the car information said not to change or check the oil for however many days, the would not be checking it. Once I picked the car up, I asked if they checked the rear back up light that my friends had confirmed was off when the warning light was displaying on the dashboard. One of the service ladies said that I didn't know where the light was and that there wasn't any issues. I thought this was very rude and irrelevant because THE CAR is telling me there is an issue. These issues didn't get resolved and then in late March and early April I had started to buy coolant for the car because it kept leaking out. This was about my 3rd or 4th time taking the car to Honda to be serviced with reoccuring issues, they had my car for a week or so without any communication until April 12th and 19th when ****** called and advised that the warranty covered some but not all parts and that I would have to pay $600 out of pocket to get the car fixed. The next day I went to Honda and spoke with ******, the man who initially did the test drive with me, and got it down to $400.

I stopped by Coggin honda located at ***** ******** ****, ***** on September 9th to sell my Honda accord sport. The agent there drove my car and took pictures. They agreed to purchase my car for 8874.10$ . Then I provided my bank payoff information so they can them payoff check per their request they provided bill of sale, used car purchase form and a copy of title reassignment. Yesterday sep 14th. They called me and said they won’t purchase my car and will not send my payoff check to the bank due to high repair cost needed, and I have to come to get my car otherwise they will tow away. I explained to the sales manger that I have all documents for this transaction and they have to send my payoff check to my bank. They said whatever the documents they provided will not matter and threaten me that I have to get my car in five day otherwise they will tow it away and will incur extra charges.

We took our 2014 Honda Accord to Coggin Honda located at ****************************************************************** on May 14, 2024, because sometimes when we turn the car off it would take about 30 mins before it would start again. We also told them the car drove fine and the A/C works well while driving but if we were sitting (Example: in a drive-thru) the A/C would not work properly and blow out warm air. They kept the car, performed a diagnostic, and said we needed a new starter. They replaced the starter, and we picked the car up on May 16, 2024, after 5:00 pm. On the way home we stopped at the gas station to get gas and when we tried to start the car again it would not start and took about ***** mins to start again so we called ************** (the service advisor we had been working with) and told him what happened. We took the car back to Coggin Honda on May 18, 2024. They performed another diagnostic and said this had to be completed: ****** CPC, ***** RWC A01 Sensor, Water Temp, ****** NA Radiator FAN Assy, and ****** TPH R FAN. We picked the car up after the repairs were completed on May 22, 2024. On August 8, 2024,I called **************** to tell him we were still having the same issue with the car. I told him we would need a loaner car, and we didn't want to have to pay for another diagnostic. He said they didn't have any loaner cars at that time and the diagnostic would be free. He said they would probably have a loaner car the next week so I asked if he could call me the next week and I could bring the car in and get a loaner. He never called me back. We went to Coggin Honda today, August 29, 2024, and had to leave because there were no loaner cars and ************** was too busy to see us because he said he wasn't expecting us. He seemed to have an attitude and spoke in a dismissive tone. We are paying customers, and we deserve to be treated with respect. Please speak to him about how he interacts with customers even if he's busy, stressed, or having a bad day.

I purchased an use 2017 Honda Odessey on Jan 19, 2022 and I received their service report showing a few issues that were fixed but no other issues, after a few weeks a FCW/LDW failure occurred I brought it in in April and they said I have the extended warranty but it will be $150 so I paid that, then I had it back for a few days and the failure warning came back on and the check engine light. I brought it in on 4/29/2022 and they sent me a report saying I needed a new transmission, Oil pressure switches and T/belt tensioner leaking for a total of 11,000. I called and they told me I would have to pay that amount, I called the USed car sales manager and he said he will let them know I have a warranty, The warranty covered the Transmission but not the other issues that cost 1400, I called the Used car manager to ask if he would take on the cost to fix those and he didnt call me back, I then sent them an email asking the same thing, I got a call right back but they were asking me if I wanted to buy a minivan and I explained the issue and they would let the manager know. I have not heard back from the manager, I picked up my car on 5/13/2022 and paid the $250 deductible and that saturday and sunday it was leaking, as the service representative said it could leak because of the t/belt Tension and that I would have to then come bring it back in and pay the $250 again to get that fixed and the warranty company to recognize fixing it. At this point I brought it to a new place since I am getting no help from the dealership and they are ignoring my requests for them to make me whole. Even before they knew I had a warranty they were firm on I would have to pay the full amount to have the car fixed. From 1/19 until now I have not had my car for 20 days and counting with waiting to find out other issues with the car. I spoke to lawyers but they dont take on these cases, and the Car dealerships know this. I also have the initial report. Total so far 400 + 260 pending.
