            We closed our home sale with Selene Title on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. We only received our sales proceeds late on Thursday, February 23 after our agent reached out multiple times with limited response from the company. In addition, Selene Title has still not yet paid off the outstanding mortgage for the home that was purchased. In addition, on the closing statement the final mortgage amount was estimated. The actual payoff amount for February 23 (which includes additional interest that would not be included had the account been settled 2/21/23) was $263.60 less than the estimated amount. However, the sales proceeds paid to us do not include the $263.60 difference. Our requested resolution is for Selene Title to pay off the mortgage and to send the additional $263.60 in proceeds based on the difference between the estimated and actual payoff.

            I bought my current house paid off and shouldve received the title to my house but after asking several times where is the title? I am not getting a direct response other than its the seller who is not fixing the problem it had been 5 months now to get the issues fixed and sent the title. Im at the end of my rope thinking of the next step I need to do to make sure I have the title in my hands because of so many stories of houses sold to someone but comes to find out that the house was not meant to be sold. Its was a stressful process for my family and my real estate agent working with them.
