Im filing a formal complaint against EverBright Solar due to ongoing delays and poor communication that are preventing the completion of a critical home refinance. I inherited my grandfathers home and began refinancing on 3/4/25. The only thing holding up the loan is the unresolved *** Termination and missing original solar contract from EverBright.Because of this, I am now stuck paying two mortgages, unable to move, and under major financial stress. Despite following every instruction, submitting all required documents (starting on 2/19), and paying the $350 fee on 3/19, there has been little to no progress.Ive had to resend documents multiple times with no outreach from EverBright.I was told on 3/19 that the *** would be complete by 3/21, only to find out later it would actually take 2025 business days.I requested the original contract on 3/19, and while Ticket #******* was eventually created, Ive since been told its paused until the *** process is done.Despite daily calls, Im receiving no updates, broken callbacks, and internal teams dont seem to communicate. My most recent calls on 4/3 (three total) were met with the same vague responses and no action.Requested Resolution:1.Expedite the *** Termination (Ticket #*******)2.Release and send the original contract to my lender/escrow (Ticket #*******)3.Provide a consistent point of contact to prevent further delays This situation is financially unsustainable. Ive done everything required, and the lack of urgency from EverBright is now directly impacting my familys stability. I am asking for immediate action.

I am rejecting this response because: by this response, you can see that they are admitting the Contract was forged by the cosigner and salesmen. The only resolution is termination of the contract or a buyout which will not be in the amount that they request as I do not want any of their maintenance on the solar therefore, I am offering $20,000 for the buyout

We signed a contract with Everbright on 12/10/22, but the installation was not completed until around March 2024, over a year later. Throughout this time, we encountered numerous issues, including technicians lacking expertise- on more than 3 occasions, work had to be redone due to previous installers' mistakes. Once finished, Everbright failed to schedule the required City of ********* inspection and caused significant stucco damage during installation, which remains unrepaired. After installation, we began experiencing severe electrical issues, including power failures when using minimal energy (washer, HVAC, TV). Despite these issues, we continued paying $131 monthly. In June 2024, we reached out to Everbright, who directed us to Omnidan (Case #******). After months of silence, Omnidan responded in October 2024 and referred us to Complete Solar, who provided a false office address (**************************************************), which did not exist, leading us to believe we may have been scammed. After continued follow-ups, Omnidan finally sent a technician on 11/13/24, who found that our main panel had not been properly upgraded to support the solar panels. He promised to return the following week to upgrade the panel but failed to show up. We were then told that Everbright and Complete Solar needed to approve the installation, and weve received no further communication or resolution. As of March 18, 2024, weve been dealing with daily electrical outages, causing over $1,000 in food spoilage alone. Additionally, our appliances (fridge, computer, TVs, and washer/dryer) are now malfunctioning due to these electrical failures. Despite these issues, we have met our end of the contract by making all required monthly payments, but we are being ignored and misled by Everbright, Complete Solar, and Omnidan. When reaching out, we are now hung up on repeatedly, with representatives claiming they will transfer us to another department, only for them to end calls.

Everbright installed solar panels on my home under the idea that it would help me reduce my electricity costs but withheld important information about its financing practices. Everbright explained that I would be renting the solar panels for 25 years, and I was under the impression that the financing would be structured as a traditional loan. However, I have just found out that Everbright financed the solar panels by placing a lien on my property without disclosing this information upfront. The lien is held by Wolters *********************, which has now encumbered my property rights. Had I been fully informed that a lien would be placed on my home, I would never have agreed to move forward with Everbright. I was misled and am frustrated by the lack of transparency in our business dealings. Everbright focused only on the benefits of solar panels but failed to disclose the critical detail that a lien would be involved. This lack of disclosure is unacceptable and feels deceptive. This way of doing business is predatorial!

07/30/2024 Signed contract in a phone. Couldnt get a copy of contract. Was told there was a glitch.Found out on 2/20/25 before system turned on that there is a 25 year lien on house. Was not told by sales *** The contract did not call it a lien. The estimate based on one bill from July 2024 . I want the solar panels taken off! EverBright was not transparent in order to get a signed contract. Now they are saying too late! Misled us to get a signed contract. List of excuses in writing;1. Under-informed young salesman 2. ***-1 Lien not worth mentioning it 3. We didnt provide a year of electric bills. ( They did not ask)4. No written contract ( you have to ask for it)5. 25 year lien on house 6. If over pay - get a refund. ( did not say a full refund, its actually only a partial)7. The lien can cause a problem with mortgages, HELOC and sake of home

****** has called me twice.  On Friday, 3/5 and Tuesday, 3/8.  I couldn't pick up phone since I was on a call for work. The second call I immediately called back only to be told he was un available.  He told me we were playing phone tag. While he called me twice.  I have been trying to call him back repeatedly.

Friday 3/5 I texted him to tell him I was traveling.

Saturday 3/6, called and texted.  EverBright was closed.

Monday, 3/7 I texted him.  I also called the number provided.  Was re routed multiple times.  Only to leave a message and he will call back.

Tuesday, 3/8 I called back immediately when I received. ( I was on a call and couldn't drop the call to answer him.)   Rerouted multiple times. I was asked for my name, birthdate, address, and phone number.  They asked me for his last name so they could direct the call.  I don't know his last name. Finally they told me he was un available.  IN his message he said he will be in office for the next 2 hours.  He didn't call back.

Wednesday, 3/9 I started again the rerouting routine at the number he provided.  They took down a message for him.  He was unavailable until later. I asked for his **** that he worked for....Homeowners Support Line. I asked for his last name and I was told they were not allowed to give his last name.

I find this very odd!  They want all my personal information.  I am on the phone for 10 minutes so they can write down all my personal information with time stamp of when I called and exactly what I said.  Yet they don't provide me with any information  about ****** except for his first name. He has questions for me. They have my email.  He can easily email me.  But I am wondering he doesn't want to put anything in writing.  And I wonder if he's hoping that 10 days will go by without having to answer me.

I have been given the run around ever since I started questioning this solar panel debacle!  Please look into this.  They all have scripted answers and expressions!  That tells me that my complaint is not the only complaint! This is a pattern with EverBright and Solar panels.

I finally was able to have Ever Bright customer service connect me to ****** Peno  ( yes, I finally go his last name) on 4/09/2025 at 3:26pm.  I told him my concerns about the UCC-1 lien on the house. He disregarded all my concerns and said they do not cause any hardship. I told him we were not informed of the ***-1 lien and that it was buried in the contract and not listed as a lien but as finance.  He kept reiterating that this lien is not on the house but on the solar panels.  But my research tells me these solar panels are physically attached to the house, so this means the UCC-1 lien is extended to our property.  This UCC-1 lien is going to cause future hardship.  1. it reduces appeal of home thereby lowering its value.  2. Transfer of lien on a sale is going require credit checks, paperwork and delay closing. 3. roof repairs requires coordination with the lienholder and slowing down the project.  All these things were not addressed.  We were told all the good things and all the cost savings by the salesman.  Now ****** is saying we can buy the solar panels for $65,000.  Interesting that we weren't offered the 30% Federal credit on these solar panels.  Please see the attachment  of the text messages from **** *********, Enlite salesperson,  I texted him a copy of the UCC-1 filing statement and he just told me to throw it away.  He didn't explain that it was about the lien on our house.

I also discussed with ****** that they made an estimate for our use of electric for the next 25 years based off of one electric bill.  WE only had one since it was our first month in the house during lots of renovations. ( He didnt say he needed this one bill to to estimate for the rest of our lives.)  This bill was ~ $726 for July 2024.  Our bil in December 2024 was for ~$80.  I brought it to Enlite, EverBright and Bright OPS  attention.  They all said it's too late I signed the contract.  I asked how am I saving money?  I can just do a budget plan with UI electric.  They said I was ridiculous and it's too late.  I should have brouht it up before I signed the contract.

Now, ****** **** says I can give him a copy of all the electric bill and he will revise the estimates.

I don't want these Solar Panels.  We were taken advantage of!  We were purposely not given all the facts so we can make an informed decision.  I would like to be forward thinking and save energy....but not like this!  Please help us!  WE are senior citizens.  We are not going to be in this house for 25 years.  WE would never have agreed to a UCC-1 lien if we were fully informed.  EverBright, Enlite and Bright OPs made a quick sale without full disclosure.  And we were supplied with a  paper copy of the contract because they want to save trees.  Yet, I couldnt get a copy of the contract because there was a glitch in the system.  I have that in writing in an email.

I am filing a complaint against EverBright, LLC and ******************************** for deceptive business practices and improper billing related to my leased solar system.Since October 2024, my solar system has not met its contractual Guaranteed Output. Despite this, EverBright continued billing me the full lease amount, forcing me to pay for both the solar lease and full Pepco bills, resulting in over $2,800 spent in five months.EverBrights own agent confirmed in writing that my first bill should not have been issued unless the system was fully operational. The agent also facilitated a reimbursement for Pepco charges when the system underperformed. However, when I followed up in October 2024, EverBright denied knowledge of these reimbursements and refused further assistance. The inverter failure was identified on October 8, 2024, but repairs were delayed. An appointment was only scheduled after I followed up in mid-November 2024. When technicians arrived in late January 2025, they brought the wrong inverter, causing more delays. The part was finally replaced just before March 2025, leaving me without a fully operational system for nearly six months.Additionally, my billing statements list both "Original Owner: EverBright, LLC" and "Owner: ********************************" without explanation. No notice was given about how this affects system maintenance, reimbursements, or my contract, causing confusion about who is responsible.I am requesting an investigation into deceptive practices and improper billing, clarification on ownership responsibilities, and enforcement of contract obligations, including reimbursements for improperly billed months.

Everbright account # ********** phone# ************. ***** came to our door to solicit solar panels in the neighborhood. We signed up to get the solar panels to lease them not buy. The payment became too expensive and didn't make a difference in our power bill. We contacted the company to cancel the contract and told them to pick up the solar, on 09/23/2024 we did a 3 way call and requested a cancellation in which they issued a ticket number for #******* and also requested for them to remove the lien on our home so we could refinance. The *** said it would take up to 14 days. they removed the lien only to put it back on the record and did not cancel the solar contract as stated and was now sent to collections. This company also changed during the tenure of the contract and we were not notified of any new company or service area that would be handling this account. We simply wanted to cancel the contract and someone was supposed to come remove the panels and that never happened. This company is predatory and all of the reviews of this company says the exact same thing. they are preying on the elderly to get contracts and then telling us we cant get out of it and then sending us to collections for the entire amount of the solar panels. please investigate this and get to the bottom of this. I also paid ****** via credit card on 09/23/2024 for the contract cancellation fee. Also the lien company is lien solutions po box ***** ********, ca no number listed.

My name is ******* ***************************** residential address is *************************************. My solar panel was installed by EverBright during May 2024. Whole process may be completed on December 2024. **** supposed to inspect and cleared the project. I did not get any final information about that. They started billing from December 2024. According to their estimation they installed 9 panels and told that it will produce 20% more energy than what I am currently using now. So If I don't use extra energy I supposed to pay SDGE only gas bill. But for the last three months I am paying for Everbright as well as normal electric bill for SDGE. I am paying for EverBright $90 per month , and my ************* bill for Last Dec 2024 was $93, Jan 2025 was $120, etc. When I didn't have Solar that time my electric bill was within $85-$110. Today, I came to know from **** that my solar system is producing enough than what I am using now but that credit amount is not enough to cover my normal bill, that's why I am getting almost similar type of bill from SDGE. One thing still looking fishy to me that EverBright told me that ******************* will come to update my electric panel on January 15, 2025, and SDGE also confirmed that but nobody came to do that job. When I did contact Everbright they told that my electric panel is ok and need not to do upgrade but they did not give any clear explanation of my concern "why I am getting both bills?". I want Everbright to solve this problem because I am not using any extra energy but I have to pay twice that my earlier electric bill.
