I am writing to formally file a complaint against Freedom ********* concerning an issue I have encountered with upgrading my membership.On August 18th, I attempted to upgrade my membership and was given a quote of $800 for the upgrade fee and a monthly fee of $560. I agreed to these terms and requested the upgrade. However, the sales representative did not fulfill the contract. Importantly, the quote provided to me did not state that the offer was valid for a limited time.Due to some family events and weddings, I forgot about the upgrade for a few weeks. When I remembered, I reached out in October and December, leaving multiple voicemails but receiving no response. I reached out again in March, at which time I was told that an account manager would contact me, but this never happened.We are now in mid-May, and at the beginning of this month, I spoke with a representative who informed me that they would not honor the original quote. Instead, I was told I would need to pay a $2,000 upgrade fee. Despite accepting these terms and asking for the necessary paperwork to be sent to me, I have yet to receive any response.Given the circumstances, I am requesting the assistance of the Better Business Bureau to have Freedom ********* honor the original quote provided to me in August. Additionally, I recommend that the sales staff at Freedom ********* receive further training on customer service, as this experience has left a significant negative impression.Thank you for your attention to this matter.
