Purchased tile July **************************************** Sept 2024.The tile turned out to be erroneously packaged in identical boxes with matching lot nu.bers. The factory admitted the error and credited Padron back for the material yet Padron disputed our chargeback from the credit card and has both the credit and our money. They have refused to correct the problem despite having told us it was a factory error. This is documented in ***** Padrons emails to us.

I purchased flooring on 8/17 based on the verbal commitment from the sales person that the material would be delivered the first week in Sept. I gave a $5,000 deposit based on the delivery date. After repeatedly trying to confirm a specific delivery date, on 8/27 the date was changed to the first week of Oct. The sales person gave me a verbal commitment that I could cancel the order for a full refund when I told her I needed to go somewhere else to look for immediate delivery. Later that day I received a written email from her confirming the option to cancel for a full refund. The following day, after I purchased material from another retailer, the owner chose NOT to honor this commitment since another customer had a project delayed and now he had flooring suddenly available. I have been disputing with ******** since then, but would sincerely appreciate additional help. The man is unethical! I have attached the email from the sales person (see page 2) with the very specific language (albeit in broken English) stating I could have a full refund if I chose to cancel.

I am trying to be a thorough as possible here, so I am sending the original receipt that i signed on 8/17 indicating that there would be a 20% restocking fee on all returns/cancellations.  This receipt is what the owner pointed to when he told ******** I was not entitled to a refund.  However, this was signed when the delivery date was the first week in Sept.  The second attachment is the exchange with the sales person.  On 8/27, when she told me the date was moved to October, she told me verbally and then in writing that I would be entitled to a full refund if I decided to cancel.  Her text is on page 3 and says, "They will be no fee in a full refund if you decide to cancel it."  While her English was not 100%, the message is very clear.  Based on her earlier verbal commitment to the same, I had already purchased flooring elsewhere.  I very specifically asked for the refund which was not a problem until another customer had a delayed project and the owner was stuck with inventory.  That should not be my problem.  I was told on 8/27 that I would get a full refund.  I purchased elsewhere based on that, and was then told that they were keeping the full $5000 based on the signed receipt despite their promise of a full refund.  I would VERY much appreciate your help with this.

We recently did business with ************************************** to purchase flooring. They provided us with their recommended vendor for installation, Excell Tile, to support with the installation. After several meeting with Padron in their showroom as well as appointments with their preferred installer, we landed on a tile we liked. In order to confirm if the tile was the correct size, we had the installer take measurements at the house at least twice and he confirmed he was in constant communication with the sales associate from Padron Flooring. When they confirm it was the "correct size", the sales associate at Padron informed us that the tile we liked was not in stock in the showroom and was on a ship from ****** to ***************** but made sure to tell us that if we, "wanted to be safe, to put a 50% deposit down to secure it." Meanwhile in the background, we had 2 independent installers come to our home to take measurements in order to do our due diligence. It was shortly after placing the deposit that the 2 independent 3rd party installers confirmed that the size of the tile was wrong and measurements were not correct, leading to an inability to use the tiles altogether. Upon hearing this my wife and I immediately called Padron Flooring and requested a refund due to the wrong size tile being purchased at the confirmation of both their preferred installer and the sales associate. They refused to put me on the phone with the manager and ignored my requests to speak with one. They are still holding onto 20% of the total order amount even though the wrong tile was confirmed, the products are not in the showroom (they are in transit on a ship), and we did not receive any goods. This is an outright money-grabbing scam! This place needs to be investigated for scamming and fraud and I want a FULL refund back in the amount of $2,156.80.- Date of Transaction: May 24, 2024 - Business Committed to Providing at least 10% back (should be 0%)- Invoice: 01-210692
