    I rented from Somerset apartment in ***** *******.I was waiting on a house being built I went in the office to ask in case my home is not completed by December 31st when my lease is due how much would I pay for month to month.******************************* told me Mrs ********* your rent will remain the same.As a matter of fack my last month was in ***uary I received an invoice from somerset for $936 which I paid.Somerset claim the sent me a month to month of $1700 that was placed on my door which I never received.Now they deduct the amount $936 that I paid to them and claim that I owe about $700.00.I never signed a month to month lease with them, that letter they claimed was put on my door I never received now they sent me for collection with Rentrecovey solutions were the lady hung up the phone on me.Rent solution is asking me to get a leter from somerset that says I don't owe then they can clear my account.Now my daughter moved to ***** she is trying to get an apartment she is stock because she put my name and somerset mess up my credit.I have all the invoice, all the payments if you need any proof.Rent solution even said they charged me for insurance when in fact I took rental insurance from Geico.I asked Rent Recovery solution to email me an invoice for the month of ***uary 2022 that has the amount of $1700 like Somerset is claiming because the invoice for *** was $936 still in my email from Somerset.Please help.I can forward all my payments and Somerset invoice.

    I moved in Somerset apartment in December 21st,2022. Before I moved in to apt 7653 I was told my apartment was being renovated and that it would look like the example apartment shown.I visited California to meet my family for the holidays and came back to a semi renovated apartment and two months later I find termite droppings on my floor. I searched the apartment and there was dead termites from long ago in the corners of the apartment which looked like was painted over. I was never told by Rachel ******** that the apartment complex was infested by termites. The day I found termite droppings I asked my next door neighbor if they had any problems. She said(Desa) that she has been living there for over 4 years and have been dealing with the termites for over two years. She’s requested many times to help with the insects and termites but pest control was not helpful because they only do spot checks once a month. I requested to get reimbursed because the place in inhabitable and Rachel neglected to inform me of this issue. When I spoke to Rachel she stated that she wanted to “start from the beginning” and said the complex was old and might have some termites issues since before 2018. I was told that I wasn’t able to get my money back but they are able to move me into another apartment or break the lease without penalties. I was also sending maintenance requests with specific notes to knock my door before entering and to please give me a call when they would arrive to my apartment which was not done. I would come home sometimes with things moved in my apartment and with no note stating someone was in here. Or my rooms being somewhat dirty because of someone coming in to my apartment. I don’t think this is how things should be conducted and would like to make a formal complaint as well as having my money reimbursed for being manipulated under false pretense into signing a contract under Rachael Piwinski knowingly withholding long term ongoing issues of the apartment.
