I have been without buy car since April 09, 2021 when took to Greenway Kia West and d $211 diagnostic fee due to not being a covered part per Kia. I have Kia Manuf w 10yr/100k warranty and Assurant extended warrant which runs concurrent to Kia warranty(scam). I then took to Aamco to confirm due to no noise from clutch and drivable, advise Slave defected car was Driven to Greenway Kia North ( no noise, grinding nothing, no longer sticking as much after fluid was refilled) per attorney & Aamco , they confirmed slave/master is defected but prefer to replace clutch as well. Advised no noise and drivable and declined clutch. Car there for 13 day while Assurant and Kia N. keep sending me back and forth between the 2 of them due to service Manager Joe not send correct defected parts. On 13 day I had car towed home in which my car was worst and now really undrivable. No resolutionBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/08/05) */ Our dealership is unable to perform warranty repairs without authorization. The warranty claim was denied by warranty provider since the Friction Clutch Disc and Pressure Plate, Clutch throw out Bearing are not covered by the contract. The Slave Cylinder is covered, but it is not the issue. If Mrs. *********** has any additional questions, please contact Service Manager Joe at 407-571-1234 option (0) Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/08/06) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I have spoken with the service Manager Joe during the time my car was there, He also confirmed what the service advisor told me that the Slave Cylinder needs to be replace Per Louis service advisor they will not replace it as its only $80 so they required to fix the clutch along with slave. My car has 2 warranty that both expire at the same time (goal figure). Extended warranty stated that the service dept never stated slave need to be replaced, I called Joe whom stated that was not true and then sent me the email that's attached say he submitted for slave, I then faxed it to extended warranty and was advised order has to come from service dept via portal and that had not happened. days of going back and forth with no one wanting to hang on for a conference call due to the long hold times that I endured from both parties. Call Kia Consumer they stated same thing service dept is not submitting for slave as they advised me and I had my master mechanic on every call who told me why they wanted to do clutch and slave together. Per Joe and Louise they never dropped my tranny only viewed clutch via peep hole to determine excessive wear on clutch not bad/defected clutch as extended warranty pointed out to me. He stated my tires or brakes can have excessive wear and not need repairing. So yes if the service dept would have summited for the slave cylinder as they told me was the issue it would have been approved and I would not be out of over a thousand dollars in rental car while financing a warranty that I was asked about and made no since to have since they ran it concurrent with the Kia 10year 100k miles warranty. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2021/08/11) */ Our service department provided the warranty provider all the necessary information so that they could make a decision. The claim was denied for reasons we have listed. Any repairs costs not covered by warranty are the responsibility of the vehicle owner. Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2021/08/11) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Kia North service dept are scammers and will clearly ensure that they are getting the most expense from you and/or the warranty company. Sadly so they all work together which is why they add extended warranty without saying its an option to opt out. its just a sales scheme and unfortunately its lesson learned. As stated my car still do not wok after a brand new clutch its still not holding pressure in the pedals unless pumped several times while driving, which further proves it was never my clutch it was the hydraulic system as they told me the slave cylinder (covered part) that they refused to replace and put me through all the stress and expense of a rental & new clutch because the part was only about $80 to fix per service advisor Louis and they added the excessive use of clutch (goal figure) to generate revenue sadly so. Lets not forget I still have KIA manufactory warranty 10 y/100k miles that's useless and happen to expire at the same time as my extended warranty.. smh how funny and sneaky is that, 2 warranties and no coverage. I will just pay for the repair in order to use the car that I'm paying insurance and a payment which include the $3000 extended warranty plus interest while unable to use Thanks to KIA I will not refer anyone to any Greenway dealerships and I will raise awareness on social media so this do not happen to others especially during a time such as the pandemic.
