This Company is a hot mess, unprofessional, sloppy and a disaster to deal with. We choose PES due to them providing us the best price, and 1 time uninstall and install of panels if needed for a roof job. From the start , during install, the installer fell through my ceiling and caused a hole in my open concept family room. They went ahead and paid for a patch job, which looks horrible, you can see the huge patch which sticks out like a sore thumb. Then we began with the leaks, they deny any fault , of course saying the leaks are cause by wear and tear of the roof, which their engineer approved off. Our roof required a tarp, nowadays they shrink wrap them which cost the restoration company $8k, and water still accumulated. Due to the ongoing leaks my ceiling collapsed in the living room. Water leaked through our bathroom and garage area. They had someone come out to inspect and said the water is entering via small holes and animal caused. I went up and inspected the tarp and no holes were found. Someone else came out and said they were going to repair our roof. When asked how so, there were no permits the employee was unable to explain and argued with us saying he was not going to do any work unless my shrink wrap was removed. We had to rip open the tarp and the following day their so called roofer, that has been in business for over 20 years and has never seen a shrink wrap cover on a roof, began squirting water with my water hose for 30 min to 1 hr. He then had the audacity to say water entered via a seem which was wear and tear, he patched it up however there is no water seeping through. We showed him the damage and water entrance and still said it was not caused by them. After ditching 20k in a new roof my permit was just approved , I call them to remove the panels so we can repair our roof, and they are saying no they don't do that and they charge a fee of $15k dollars. These guys are horrible and I will report to the state of Fl and seek Civil Suit.

These complaints filed by this homeowner are completely inaccurate. The leaks that occurred on this homeowners roof were not due to PES Solars installation. The homeowner had their personal roofer meet PES Solar onsite to identify the leaks and it was determined with the homeowner present and the roofer present that it was due to other issues with her roof and not the solar. This homeowner is upset due to the fact they think or believe that PES Solar does free removal and reinstallations of solar systems so they can get their roof redone. Unfortunately, this is not a service that PES Solar does for free.  At PES Solar we have a very strict policy that in some cases we do provide huge discounts to homeowners if our roofing company (PRS Roofing) is installing a roof for the homeowner.  PES Solar must have an addendum created and fully executed by an executive and owner for this to happen. This was not the case for this homeowner. PES Solar cannot do a removal and reinstall for this homeowner at no costs due to the work that must be redone. There is special mounts installed on this homeowners roof due to it being a flat roof and PES Solar cannot pull up and re-use these mounts once again after being pulled up. All hardware must be replaced. PES Solar has even dropped our price below our costs to come out of pocket to help the homeowner for something we were never contractually agreed to.  PES Solar has not lost any paperwork regarding this homeowners contracts etc. The homeowner unfortunately stated she has misplaced her copy of the contract PES Solar sent her and she asked PES Solar to please re-send a copy of their contract. PES Solar has every intention of making this customer happy! Unfortunately, we cannot as a company participate in unhealthy business activities that again were not due to our workmanship or contractual obligations.

This company is a scam and these reviews are fake. I originally reached out to PES to design and install an integrated Solar panel/ Pergola system at my residence in March of 2024. We agreed to a price and signed a contract (after the sales Rep **** called me every day until signing of) in early May. We are now in the middle of August. Zero Progress has been made on this project. They have stated they have gone through multiple project PMs, engineers, subcontractors etc. They are now basically non responsive via any and all communication (a far cry from the sales cycle). In my last correspondence, they asked for an additional 10-20% funding increase (their second time doing this) and stated "if you even want to continue with the project. This company does not seem to have the capability or desire to complete this project. Overall this is the least professional company I have delt with. Hope things get better but i don't have confidence they will.

Mr. ******* complaint is false and misleading and PES Solar would like to clarify some points regarding *************** situation with PES Solar. Firstly, we have never collected any payments from ****************. Additionally, while there were changes in the design of the solar project, these adjustments were made to enhance the project's effectiveness and efficiency. We understand that such changes sometimes lead to increased costs, which may not align with every customers expectations.

Regrettably, during our discussions, it became clear that **************** was not satisfied with the proposed costs. In light of the situation and the escalating nature of our communications, we felt it necessary to cancel the contract to ensure the best course of action for both parties involved.

I have been trying for weeks to contact this company about a warranty claim. I have a leaky roof after their work. I have tried calling their "support" line at **************, it always gets answered by voice mail. I left several VM and no one ever calls me back. Even this morning when I call the call just drops and never rings. I have sent an email to *********************************** and no response. So I tried filling out their "Contact Us" form on their website (***********************************************) and someone texted me right away. As soon as I told "******" that I needed customer support she replied with nonsense as you can see in my attachments from my text. She totally ignored my request for a call back. This company is shady and I need my roof fixed. Please help as I'm 85 years old.

WE HAD TECHS GO OUT AND CHECK ROOF LEAK AND PES SOLAR ADVISED THAT IT WAS NOT FROM **. THE HOMEOWNER AGREED WE ALREADY ADDRESSED AND TOOK CARE OF THIS.

Company consistently made false statements to me that I was able to verify were untrue by contacting relevant government offices and businesses. When I confronted the company about their consistent mistruths they ceased all communication with me. They've refused to update me on the status of the work or explain any of these inconsistencies to me.

PES Solar has been in communication with the homeowner and provided proof of the interconnection application being submitted and homeowner refuses to accept this as proof. PES has offered to also call the power company together with the homeowner to ensure her PES Solar is not lying to her about anything. PES Solar is working as fast as possible to expedite her system getting turned on and approved by the power company. The cease in communication with the homeowner is because she has harassed our office on recorded lines and verbally abused employees that were working on helping her with what questions she had. She has cursed out a few employees and since then PES has advised her that we will not tolerate her harassing and cursing out employees.

I am rejecting this response because: it is shameful how they blatantly lie. They submitted a interconnection request for another house that I do not own, live in or have any affiliation with. It's disgusting that they would tell such a blatant falsehood. This company is not a real company. They are a scam, and I hope the attorney general goes after them next, like she has other companies that defrauded hardworking tax-paying Floridians.

I don't know why I'm so shocked by their lies. They've done nothing but lie to me since our first interaction. Yet I am surprised all the same. It's horrifying how people have no integrity anymore.

I am rejecting this response because: you are still lying. Attached is screenshoted proof of one of your many lies. Furthermore you did not complete the work by the deadline two of your employees repeatedly assured me would be met. I told your sales rep I had no interest in doing business with you if the project wasn't complete by May first. He assured me the system would be operating by that date, as did your other employee. That is why I agreed to do business with you. Neither of these promises were met. You finished the project a week late. You also lied about the permitting process as well, and Polk County can confirm it.

The installation of the solar panels was completed on 3/07/24 and is NOT what I approved on the plans. In total, these solar panels will end up costing me over $60,000.00 and I will have them for 25 years. I expected a clean, well-designed installation. I was provided a plan that detailed where each solar panel would be installed. Still, no one discussed with me the installation of various electrical boxes, tubing, and wires nor told me that these would be installed on the outside of my home, next to my pool area, without my input as to the design of how this would end up looking. ****, nor his supervisor, whom I sat with and asked questions endlessly - discussed with me that a tube with the electrical wires would be installed in a lazy and cheap manner that take away from the aesthetics of my roof and backyard. Lastly, I was asked to sign a paper allowing the installers to cut into a piece of my drywall inside my home. When I returned, they had installed some type of electrical tubing that protruded out of the wall on the INSIDE of my home. Ive shared these with a couple of engineers and they both said this is a terrible installation and of course now that the panels have been nailed into my brand-new metal roof I know options are limited. Ive asked 1. Why was I never provided plans that included these additional components and where they would be installed? 2. What are the options to fix this mess? I was told the electrical box would be replaced, that is all. ****, the salesperson, refuses to answer either of my questions. The business has not tried to resolve this problem except **** told me to get a trellis but he knows I cannot cover the electrical meter nor the tubing that is running over the soffit and along the roof. Nor can I get a trellis to cover the inside of my home. There is no account number that I am aware of. I would like PES to answer these questions so that we can find a resolution.

I am rejecting this response because PES is sending an engineering supervisor to my home tomorrow 3/18/24 and then after reviewing the installation made by the original team will provide me with additional information on what can be done about:

      1. The tubing and metal electrical box that is blocking my ability to install hurricane shutters or replace the windows next year;

      2. Tubing goes over the soffit and awning, instead of inside the awning where it would be tucked out of sight and safer through storms, and

      3. Review the electrical tube that was installed in a way that leaves it jutting out of my wall inside of my house.

Thank you to PES for sending someone to review the installation.

I paid a $130000 for a Solar System. 101 panels they did. A roof inspection told me everything was fine to install after installation. I have had 5 leaks in the same spot. Have several other companies come out and was told that the solar should have never been put on the roof without a new roof. They told me everything was fine. The roof was 16 years old. They told me they guaranteed from leaking, not true. I am A US veteran. Never expected to be treated like this.

Executed a Solar contract agreement on 3/23/23 for $73k for panels and backup generator. Installation of generator began on 9/1/23. Installation was less than satisfactory. Techs were unprofessional in dress code, communication, work ethic and quality. Generator issues include: wrong location, property damage and a compromised electrical panel. Installation of 27 panels and meter box began on 9/6/23. Installation is not to SPEC. Frame/foot assemblies are not consistently connected to truss OR rafter supports. Foreman (Austin) attitude and behavior is uncharacteristic of a crew leader. He lacks in role responsibilities and other job-related skills such as customer service and integrity. Work was not completed within the communicated timeframe or to manufacture specification. All related items of concern have been communicated to PES Solar leadership/engineer department via verbal and written communication. resolution to items above is scheduled to take place on 9/11/23. Reduction of installation costs needs to be heavily evaluated by PES leadership and returned to the customer.

Poor workmanship, non disclosure of county and state code issues. I had a roof fire in my home and the roof needed to be replaced. In July 2022 I had contacted PES Solar with regards to having the solar power system removed and reinstalled with battery back up. I chose them because they had originally installed the system. They sent a salesman to my apartment and we went over what I was looking for and he gave me an estimate. I did not hear back from them in a few days so I called them. They told me that my system was old and not compatible with current batteries on the market. I needed to get the panels off the roof so I agreed to just have them remove and reinstall the system after the roof was built. I gave the $5000. It took nearly a year for us to get the trusses due to unforeseen circumstances ie: Covid, supply chain shortages, hurricanes… After the roof was rebuilt I paid the remaining $5000 for a total of $10,000. The solar panels were on the roof now so I called another solar company to give me a quote on battery back up and they took pictures and informed me of poor quality installation issues ei: wires hanging down on the roof that could be shorted out by rain and panels with no gap that could cause buckling due to expansion from heat which could damage panels. They also informed me that my system was out of code compliance and if a permit was pulled the county would make me replace the whole system. My insurance policy had money for code compliance and would replace the system for this reason. If I new of this before hand I would have had the old system demolished with the roof and saved my self the $10,0000. I have tried many times to contact them and talk about some kind of resolution but they refuse to return my calls and emails.

If Mr. ***** has power restored on his house and is ready to have PES Solar finish evaluating the project, PES Solar will be happy to meet him on the jobsite to complete the assessment.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: I am not interested in having  PES Solar finishing evaluating the project due to reasons previously stated. These reasons are backed up with documents and photos that I have uploaded. Some of the statements that PES solar are making simply are not true. I am interested in settling for a refund of $2500. I believe this amount is more than fair as 25 % of the work has not been completed yet.

      Sincerely,

      ******* *****
