      The letter did not contain any information regarding breach. I think breach occurred in ******* and/or ***************** *******.  I still dont have information regarding fraudulent logins location or how my account was compromised? Why only one alert in 3 months?  Disappointed in security that allowed the breach, and Broward customer service, not helpful??

      I have not received any information about where the breach occurred and why it took 3 months to get any type of alert. Id like to see where the logins were from? Did breach occur in Broward of **********?

      Thank you for the information. The business is citing confidentiality but it was MY confidentiality that was breached and no information is provided on how, why or where, and since when this was occurring on my accounts. I am a long time accounts holder and business has not provided any information on what occurred and how my account, including password, security answers, zelle, and credit card information was breached. I give permission for this to be public as I am very disappointed with SCCU handling.

      I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against Space Coast Credit Union for their reckless and unlawful actions in handling an identity theft case involving a fraudulent credit card account opened under my name. I demand that the Better Business Bureau intervene and address these violations immediately.The account in question was opened using fraudulent information, and Space Coast Credit Union is in violation of the following laws:1.The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) (15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq.) This law ensures that individuals are not held liable for fraudulent accounts. By allowing the fraudulent account to remain open and reporting false information to credit agencies, Space Coast Credit Union has violated my rights under the ****, which includes ensuring accurate information is reported and promptly investigating disputes regarding fraud.2.The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (*****) (15 U.S.C. 1692 et seq.) Space Coast Credit Unions failure to close this fraudulent account and the subsequent attempt to collect on it, despite being aware of the fraud, is in direct violation of this act. The ***** prohibits the collection of debt that is not owed by the *********** be very clear: the address listed on the application for this account was a *** PO Box, which is not a valid residential address and raises a significant red flag. Additionally, the phone number listed, ************, was confirmed as fraudulent through an investigation by the *** in collaboration with T-Mobile, who identified it as associated with a fraudulent T-Mobile account under my name.I demand that Space Coast Credit Union immediately close this fraudulent account, remove any and all negative reports related to it from my credit history, and cease any further attempts to collect on it. Furthermore, I insist that they provide written confirmation that they have corrected the situation.

      Misleading Interest Rate on Home Equity Line of Credit I obtained a Home Equity Line of Credit from Space Coast Credit Union (SCCU) with a clearly stated interest rate of 4.2% per year, as shown on my online account and their website. However, I was shocked to receive my first statement and discover that **** is actually charging 1.5% per monthequivalent to an 18% annual rate.This constitutes false advertising and deceptive lending practices. Consumers deserve full transparency regarding interest rates before committing to financial agreements.I request an immediate resolution, including:1.A full refund of the excess interest charges,2.Future charges adjusted to 4.2% interest rate, and 3.A correction in SCCUs rate disclosures to ensure accuracy and honesty for all customers.

      There is still a discrepancy regarding the terms of my Principal and Interest HELOC loan with ****. I received correspondence from *** ****** on 3/17/25, and we have had two phone calls to discuss this matter. From these communications, I understand that **** charges a payment of 1.5% of the outstanding balance on the Principal and Interest HELOC loan each month. Additionally, SCCU applies a daily "Per Diem" interest based on an annualized interest rate of 4.24%.

      However, there seems to be a contradiction with the information presented on SCCU's website (************************************************************************************************). The website advertises an APR of 4.24%, which suggests that this rate applies to both principal and interest, as the loan is labeled as a "Principal and Interest HELOC." Yet, it appears that this rate is only applied to the interest portion of the loan, not the principal. This distinction is not clearly communicated on the website. 

      Additionally, the section on the website that outlines how payments are determined mentions that payments could be as low as Prime minus 0.50% (which would equal 7%), further implying that the advertised rate should apply to both principal and interest but from conversations with *** ****** it doesn't. The maximum interest rate listed is 18%, which may be relevant for those with lower credit scores. I have an excellent credit score (typically between *******), yet my payments are calculated based on an effective rate of 18% annually (or 1.5% monthly).

      Given these discrepancies, I request that **** honor the terms presented on its website and adjust my loan to reflect the advertised APR of 4.24% for both principal and interest, as was reasonably expected when I entered into this agreement and when the promotion expires that rate should be Prime minus .5% to include principal and interest.

      THIS BANK WILL LIE DO NOT BELIEVE THEM... I am writing to formally demand immediate access to my account and the release of my funds, which have been unlawfully withheld for over two months. The continued restriction of my account without just cause or legal authority has resulted in significant financial harm, including homelessness.       *************** reached out directly to the member to address his concerns. He applied for a sea-doo with **** and received a pre-approval/instant approval, then when he went to the dealership to pick up the jetski he was declined due to thin credit. (He had just gotten two new rec units and two new mortgages.) He already had his savings account opened with the first conversation. We closed out his account and sent him the $5 that was remaining.
