My daughter has been attempting to get back her deposit on a house that did not go thru. It's been a few months and she wants to move on but needs her deposit to obtain another house or a rental. And she had reached out to the holiday builders and no one had returned her calls. I also have reached out to a ****, who is a supervisor for holiday builders in ********** and no respond. I have also reached out to the company president *****. And to no surprise has not reached back either. My next move would be too contact the local news company. And explain to them the situation.Holiday Builders Inc.

Thank you for your feedback, I have looked into your request for cancellation and refund of your daughter's deposit due to financing and do find your request. I have approved the cancellation and refund of the deposit; you should see confirmation very soon. Thank you.Review fromYesenia I

It's impossible to get a hold of them. I've been trying for the last 6 month, and now I'm almost a year from the purchase of my house, and still can't get a hold of them. My gutters are falling, and of course I did not noticed it until about 3 month after I bought the house. I finally got the gutter company to answer, however they required Holiday Builders to be contacted to get this going, in the mean time I'm running out of time. I worked, and travel for work, I don't have all day every day to reach them. The only person who answered was the sales person, which now is not with them either. So no help. I hope that they reach out to me prior to the year and correct my gutters and my sliding door, that doesn't lock. The builder supposedly fixed this during the walk through, it it was temporarily fix, because after we continue to open and close at one point it stoped locking. This issue was from day one. and the contractor fix it temporarily. I hope and pray now that I have put this message here they actually contact me.Holiday Builders Inc.

We do our best so this situation never comes up, but sometimes it does. The homeowner receives instructions to log into their portal 3 time during the construction process. They receive emails from their permitting coordinator, their construction manager, and their closing coordinator. We also have a website **************************** that has a warranty tab on the first page and when you click the tab it takes you to a placed to submit a warranty request via the website or a phone number if you would prefer to call in. We have a warranty request from the homeowner and are working on it now. ThanksReview fromAldo C

Deposit Not Refunded On 07-15-24, I signed a contract with the ************************** to purchase a property already under construction. Both parties agreed on a projected completion and closing date of 08-28-24. However, due to external issues with FPL, the completion date was delayed, potentially extending into November ******* the time the revised date approached, interest rates had risen significantly, impacting my closing costs and timeline due to work commitments. Additionally, the title company associated with Holiday Builders *** pressured me to close within a week, specifically on 11-27-24, a day before Thanksgiving. Throughout the process, there was poor communication between the title company and the construction company. On multiple occasions, I received emails proposing closing dates without resolving or updating me on the electrical issue. This delay totaled three months.Issues Experienced:In September, I contacted the lender recommended by Holiday Builders *** to lock in a lower interest rate. This would have reduced my monthly payments and closing costs.I requested flexibility on the closing date, but the title company insisted on ******* the process without reasonable justification, interfering with personal plans before the ************************** a result of the delays, I faced higher closing costs, missed the chance to secure a better interest rate, and declined job opportunities that could have improved my financial situation.Resolution Requested:I request a full refund of my deposit or, at the very least, a partial reimbursement. While the delay may not have been entirely the Holiday Builders ***s fault, as the customer, I should not bear the full burden of these circumstances.I hope the BBB can assist me in resolving this matter fairly and efficiently.Sincerely,Holiday Builders Inc.

Holiday Builders takes our customers satisfaction very seriously. As referenced in the complaint, the closing delays were outside of Holiday Builders control and were solely the result of FPL delays. Our contract does not specify a closing date. The buyer was kept up to date with the status of the homes completion. Special concessions were made by both Holiday and the Lender to help the buyer. After the closing date was established, the buyer decided to cancel. The contract is very clear that a cancelation by the buyer deems a forfeit of their deposit. It is unfortunate that the buyer decided to cancel. We were ready, willing, and able to close on the home.Review fromlouis S

1 starHoliday Builders is the worst building company in **********! They do not have the respect and dignity to comply with verbal and even written agreements. I had the Assistant Project Manager, *** ******, who came to my house and assured me that he would be in charge of repairing/replacing my grass which was horrible and dead in several spots but he never came back or authorized the work to be carried out. Every time I ask for something that is still under warranty to be corrected, they find something to say is correct and don't fix it. My air conditioning is not sufficient for my property and there is no repair or ************** NOT WASTE TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY. Their products are cheap and quality is not what they know about. Their **************** (Coastal Len...)are terrible as well; no They do not meet deadlines, change verbal agreements and are extremely incompetent. What looks is like after they receive their money...bye bye customer!!!GET OUT FROM THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!Review fromLinda B

Dear ************************, Thank you for bringing this to our attention again, we regret you are having any issue with your home. We did reach out to our subcontractor to try and determine if our trades had affected your property, and what we can do to remedy this for you.Drilling ***** in the aquifer is required in this area to provide water to our homeowners, and it is impossible to manage what happens underground. However, as a gesture of good faith you were compensated to replace your RO system filter. You did disclose to the well contractor that you had your pump lowered in your well to gain volume, this may have and continues to be the issue with your system.Review fromLeelee S

1 starI was going to purchase a new home with the proceeds of another home's sale. They told me that I would get my deposit back if it didn't go through. Ended up not selling the other house and they told me the agreement I signed was a forfeiture and it wasn't really for my extensions: it meant they could keep my deposit. That is not what they originally told me. Then they told me that they were going to keep my deposit because they gave me extensions while I was trying to sell the other home. As of this day I still haven't received my deposit. And the sales agent's supervisor said that if I were ready to purchase another home, she would "see what she could do to help me out."Review fromCheyenne N

I had my home built in 2020 and have had nothing but problems with my home! When it was first built they laid the grass down very sloppy and did not care how it looked, the left little holes in the walls and did not patch them up at all. I have had two leaks in my home the Im grateful they fixed but instead of replacing the drywall on the ceiling they just hired someone to paint over it and now I have to worry about mold in my ceiling. The floor in all my wet area are now coming up due to poor installation from the builders. Some of my doors are offset and do not look right, I can not adjust my shower valve due to it being worn away from the builders. The Air conditioner has been nothing but a headache for us to deal with. Also I believe our kitchens island is not set right as well! The never put a vent fan in my master bathroom in which I was told they would but never happened. Very poor craftsmans ship of the home. None of the vents on the roof were installed correctly which cause the leaks. Very disappointedHoliday Builders Inc.

This customer closed on our home in late 2020. As with all of our Value homes, a one-year limited warranty is issued on the workmanship of construction. Prior to closing, at least one walkthrough is done with the buyer for orientation, as well as requesting any punchout they see as necessary before they take possession of the home. On the Final Agreement form on file, signed by the customer, there were no items documented that needed to be addressed prior to, or after closing. The home closed on November 30, 2020, which set the limited warranty expiration on November 30, 2021. During that period, no warranty requests were submitted, nor was any contact with the Construction Manager who built the home. The first warranty request came on January 15, 2024, for a roof leak. Despite being 26 months out of warranty, our roofing contractor was sent out as a courtesy to address the leak at no cost to the customer. That work was completed in totality by January 24, 2024. An interior paint/drywall contractor was also sent to the home to address the spot on the ceiling, as well as another area surrounding a shower. When presented with the option to paint over the spot or replace the ceiling drywall, the customer requested the area to be painted. At no time in the 41 months since closing has there been any mention of a problem with the sod, holes in walls, doors, shower valves, air conditioner, or kitchen island. We would have been happy to address any issues if we were made aware, and within the limited warranty window.Review fromCraig L

1 starI was contemplating using Holiday Builders to build a home in ********* *******,but after reading all these reviews there`s no way in H*** that I would use them. I`ve never read so many negative reviews about a home builder in my life, without ONE good review in the mix. They should be ***d out of existence. Disgusting,n shameful to take advantage of buyers trust, faith,n money. Someone *** the h*** out of these builders so they leave *******,because we don`t need that c*** here. So thankful to everyone that put up their reviews of their horrid experiences with this company. Everyone should read them all before making the mistake of hiring them.Review fromAnthony F

1 starAbsolutely terrible. Closed on our house July of 2023 and has been nothing but disappointing. No communication with property management. Still dealing with things that were supposed to fixed that have not been fixed. I've been trying to deal with these things since day one and I constantly have to remind the ones "in charge" on what needs to be done. I've spent countless hrs reaching out to these people with no response. Would not recommend to anyone buying a new home. This is not my first new construction property and have never had to deal with such lack of communication and no care of workmanship!
