    I've never submitted a complaint to the BBB before, but I also have never been treated so inhumanely as a person, that I felt inclined to submit one to prevent anyone else from having to step foot into this establishment. How a company, such as Tremont Towing located at: *****************************************************, is still in business has me dumbfounded. To have a worker ******** me, as she tries to argue the date of when MY car was towed (my car was towed around 12:00pm on November 10th, 2022, according to the building manager at *******************************************************) left me aghast. I came into Tremont Towing at 11:39am on November 11th, 2022 & handed over my license/was asked the make/model of my vehicle. The woman at the counter proceeded to tell me that I owed them $286.00. I stated, "no, the man working last night, said if I get my car by 12:00pm on 11/11/2022 that it would cost me $197.00." She stated, "no", you're not getting your car unless you pay $286. I asked to speak to a manager, but was lied to, as she initially stated she was the only employee present at the time & told me to call the police if I had a problem. I stated, getting the police involved wasn't necessary, but was trying to get a breakdown of the "new" cost & why I was lied to on the phone regarding the price. Then enters 2 other employees. I get the new woman's attention to inform her that I was given a specific price/time agreement that wasn't being honored, but this woman was equally as rude. She stated, as well, that my car was "supposedly" towed on 11/9/2022. They call the tow truck driver (& just as he had last night, kept mixing up the dates of when he towed my car), so they finally check the computer & came to the "realization" that my car was towed on 11/10/2022. Then the initial woman working gives me my new total of $210 (assuming my 1st quote was pre-tax), but I paid immediately, so I could leave ASAP. Then once I see my car in the lot, it was marked 11/10 in chalk on my front windshield

    I have never in my life had my vehicle towed. This company, Treemont Towing, towed a vehicle where the parking had been paid for at least 10 minutes prior to car getting loaded. Showed proof and they demanded $125 cash to take off truck. CROOKS! The company refuses to provide the time stamp they put the tow vehicle on the truck until we provided the time stamp we had. Stated they will only provide the time stamp in court. Why? So they can change the time on their end, which they probably already have at this point. So shady!! On top of that, this was during a state of emergency with a category 4 hurricane hitting **. Beware when dealing with this company. Please do NOT provide the documentation to this company BEFORE getting their time stamp from them. The car was paid for BEFORE the time it was loaded.

    Date of transaction August 3, 2022. Amount: ****** ************ illegally towed my vehicle on August 3,2022. I paid this company $****** to retrieve my vehicle . The same day . August 4,2022 I received my recipient where I had paid for parking and this company will not give me a refund as they illegally towed my vehicle. As I have attached my receipt for parking I paid at 12:59am and my vehicle was towed at 1:30 by their records . I am seeking a refund of the $****** I was charged when my vehicle was illegally towed . They will not refund or answer any phone calls .
