I have been doing vehicle warranty claims for many years now. That being said this is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a warranty company. We have been trying to submit an approved claim for payment for over a week. Every time you call you get someone else and you can never get the same person on the phone. You fix what someone says, and it comes back for the same thing. No one is of any help once you get someone on the phone after being on hold for half the day. Our shop will NEVER work this them again after this.Phoenix American Warranty Company, Inc.

****** regrets any frustrations that you may be facing in the submission process. ****** provides instructions in writing for what is necessary for claim payment, and if a submission is deficient in the requirements, follow-up instructions are provided. If you are still experiencing issues, please call our offices for them to carefully explain what you may need to add for payment.Review fromJay W

This company is absolutely trash. As a shop owner, this company has cost me thousands of dollars in auto repairs. They first wanted to deny a portion of the customer repair claim because of ********************** discrepancy from another shop. After the days of battling proving to this place that warranty expired for a particular part, one of this company's adviser tells me that all repairs needed at this time was approved and repair could be completed. Im told an inspector was respond out to document photos of repairs needed. This inspected was specifically asked if she needed to see cause of failure or anything further than just simple photos and inspector says no. After a week of none payment, I called this trash place back for invoice payment and Im told the claim was deny due to a lack of proof of failure all because the inspector did not do her job. I informed the advisor of this place that the inspect specifically stated she only needed to take photos and a video. She denied needing documentation of how it failed. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the advisor told me i can not speak to anyone else but him. He told me that there wasnt anything they were going to do because my shop failed to show proof of vehicle repair failure. This is unacceptable and now I see why this company has a 1 star review. They need to be shut down.Phoenix American Warranty Company, Inc.

Totally fraudulent company! Engine bent a rod due to a faulty headgasket. They sent an inspector out and he claimed it was a bad water pump failure that caused the engine to hydrolock. They would cover the water pump which they said "caused the motor failure" but wouldn't cover anything with the motor. $9k repair and they would only cover $800! When I told them I don't need a dang water pump, I need an engine. They said I can get with the repair facility to and have them call and move forward and use that $800 towards an engine. Then was told the dealer would have to put in the water pump, send pictures then they would pay for it. Who's gonna put an new water pump on a toasted engine?!?! This is total fraud and they should be held accountable with all of the negative reviews! There should be an option for zero stars because that is what they deserve. Do NOT by any means, by their warranty! Phoenix or ******. Same company, different name. My paperwork says ****** but the phone number on the paperwork is Phoenix.Phoenix American Warranty Company, Inc.

The Vehicle's engine failed because it was operated while it was overheating, causing severe overheat damage to the engine. This is specifically excluded under the Contract, and unfortunately ****** cannot approve the cost to repair damage caused by continued operation while the Vehicle is overheating.Review fromRod'Derreck M

****** has paid this claim as authorized. The repair facility originally failed to submit the invoice for the purchase of the replacement transmission, as was required, but upon receipt of a proper invoice the claim was paid. It needs to be noted that ****** approved and paid this claim in excess of $3,000.Review fromjoseph b

SCAM COMPANY: Highly dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and accountability that was not shown. My 2014 ******* Santa fe was purchased Feb 2,2024 and went down on April 30,2024 and has a warranty that is covered under this scam company. When the shop asked to send an inspector out, they popped up during peak hour first of all with no heads up when they are supposed to call ahead of time, the inspector verified certain elements going on, when the shop reached out after the inspection it was noted that the inspector actually needed to in fact HEAR the vehicle running. Here it is July 1,2024 Aware that there will be a $105 charge for the inspector to come back out it is now being denied for the inspector to actually come back out without tear down of the motor which the warranty company does not cover and expecting to come out of the customer pocket. Absolute WORST ********************** to work with.Phoenix American Warranty Company, Inc.

We regret any frustrations felt by **************** during the claim process. The claim currently requires further diagnosis of the Vehicle to verify what was failed in the engine so that proper adjudication can be made under the Contract. ****** has not denied the claim and looks forward to assisting **************** and her repair facility with this matter.Review fromAvery B.

I recently opened a repair shop in ********** I agreed to take on an overheating problem on an equinox and at first they had agreed to do a tear down and I found it had bad head gaskets and it seemed OK at first they had approved most of the work but declined the machine shop resurfacing labor that is required on all head gasket repair jobs and half of the diagnosis But then, when I sent them the receipts that they had approved of, they declined it in that form and then they wanted business license and other things that were very vague in their description and then declined payment I would not recommend dealing with any extended warranty companyAvery B.

Shut this place down...the absolute worst. I had to pay for my own work just because they took 8 hours to pick up the phone just to verify a claim then I was told that to give them the receipt for the work to be refunded just for then to deny it because it wasn't verified by them because they didn't pick up the phone. Gave me the worst run around this company is a sham and a scam.Phoenix American Warranty Company, Inc.

****** appreciates ************** reaching out. Unfortunately, the Contract clearly states that no clams will be approved if the repairs are performed without prior authorization. In this instance, repairs were performed during ****** work hours, so the claim was denied per the contract terms.
