My uncle, ****** Novell, ordered Calmwell CBD gummies as a one time purchase. The company continually charges his credit card for $154 every few weeks and he didn't want autoship. He doesn't like the product and has tried to cancel by calling the telephone number but can't get through to anyone. I have sent messages on their ******** page but haven't received a response. It's very frustrating and I believe this company preys on people in pain.Business Response

on 7-01-24- Calmwell Gummies were purchased with credit card -*******************. the item was returned on 7-15-24. Calmwell received the returned item as stated in **** tracking ***** 1132 7436 4197 6811 37.First Calmwell denied receiving the item when questioned by ******************* credit card. . Then when presented with tracking number Calmwell admitted to receiving the returned item. They have not refunded me my ****** . They keep delaying with different excuses first that they didn't receive the returned item and then that they couldn't access my credit card number which was not true according to ******* bank credit card. Calm well had told me that even though i was cancelling my "subscription" for this item they were still shipping it to me and that i could simply return it for a refund. Calmwell has delayed the refund so that their return /refund policy could expire and therefore they did not have to refund me my money. it was a deceptive tactic.Initial Complaint

I ordered their wellness gummies online 5/29/2024 and they saved my credit card fraudulently placed 2 more orders on my card on 7/2 for $118.08 and 7/15 for $118.08. I called several times to try and resolve with a supervisor and no received no call back. I did not place these orders and did not authorize them to sign me up for a subscription. I called and asked why 2 orders within a weeks time makes no sense and they cant explain it and has not refunded my money. Im on a fixed income and my bills are due now. This company is registering customers as AUTOMATIC REFILL even if you have opted OUT of that option. Once they have your credit card info, they automatically bill you for refills although not requested.Initial Complaint

I recently ordered the Calmwell CBD Gummies 500 mg. on 05/25/2024 that was advertised as a stop smoking aid. After placing the order I saw that they had charged me more than the advertised price. I immediately emailed them, because at that point I had no phone number to contact them with, to cancel the order and let them know that I did not appreciate their underhanded pricing and billing practices. They never responded. Instead they shipped out the order anyway. Once it arrived I figured what the h*** and I tried it for a couple of days. The results were that even though I took the recommended dosage at the recommended time, bed time, all I could do was sleep even during the day time. They made me feel drugged and lethargic. Their website clearly states that they have a 30 day money back guarantee. Roughly 2 weeks after receiving the Calmwell Gummies I called the 800 number found on the container of gummies to get the return instructions and request my refund but was denied. The woman stated that they had recently updated their return policy and were no longer offering full ****************************************************************************************** just a 25% refund which did eventually go up to a 50% refund. I tried telling her that just because they had recently changed their policy that that had nothing to do with this because they needed to honor the refund policy that was in place at the time I purchased the product. To date their website continues to state that they have a 30 day money back guarantee. She refused to entertain that idea and continued to argue the point and eventually just hung up on me. "No refund". This is a 100% lying, fraudulent company that should be avoided at all costs!!!! 05/31/2024 I ordered the Buy 1 Get 1 Free (as seen on the attached page) for $68.04. I put in my credit card information and pushed RUSH MY ORDER button. It took you through 3-4 other pages trying to sell you more stuff which I declined all of them except adding $10 to upgrade to 1000mg. When I got to the final page that said place your order (in which this page did not have a total amount) I pushed the button. The attached receipt was the next page, it processed a payment for $156.08. The most it should have been $88.04. I immediately call customer service support at ************. She told me they don't offer BOGO free they only offer bundles. I told her I wanted to cancel my order and she said they don't do that. She offered me a $200 gift card to purchase their other products or a 15% refund. I took the 15% because I had no choice, I am not going to order more products from a deceiving company.Initial Complaint

Transaction was on 4/24/2024. **** of $89.76 is in dispute. On their web page Calmwell states to try their product (CBD Gummies) and if not satisfied they will gaurantee refund within 30 days. I called today and they said I can only return sealed product not anything that's open. They did not stipulate that in their advertisement. Also, say you only bought one jar of CBD Gummies and you opened up the jar and tried it and wanted to return it. How can you try it without opening it up? The Web says if not satisfied they guarantee money back within 30 days. You wouldn't be able to try a jar without opening it, could you?Also, when I called today, May 9 2024, I asked to speak to a supervisor. All at a meeting. I asked for the CEO's name, they replied they can't give that info. out. I did a search on line and couldn't get any such information. When I look up the address, it looks like a house. I couldn't find the CEO's name anywhere. There should be a law against this. There is no transparency with this company. I want a refund.
