    I applied for a Loan in the amount of $2000 with BMG Money and got approved on June13, 2025 and Signed the promissory note on the same day but they have my date as June 15, 2025 for the *** authorization. *** was collecting $40 Bi-weekly from my payroll. *** contacted me telling me there was an audit that took place in January and I had missed payments. From the understanding that I got I thought the payment was coming out of my payroll so therefore payroll sends them an *** for release of payment I cant help when payroll releases the payment to them. But I was told that I missed payments for January but these payments were taken from my payroll and I do have proof of my payroll check showing payments were taken. I understand the promissory note but I said I get paid early from my bank but the original pay date as you were told was on Fridays because thats when payroll release all payments. I also notice by reading some the complaints and reviews, I was not the only one that had this same issue, and when you try to contact these people they never answer phones or return calls, but now you have an automated person call and they said hold for a representative but then the phone hangs up. The company never notified me but all of sudden you want me to pay a past due amount that never occurred on my behalf but was a mistake of your company. So now they are telling me Im $400 and something dollars but still yet have gotten $600 from me, but now I owe $2105.90. thats crazy.

    *** has contacted me this year stating that I did not pay one payment from my allotment loan from September of 2023. They have provided no proof that I didnt pay and continue to harass me and fraudulently claim I am late on my credit lowering my credit when they previously cited I did make the payment in 2023. I have made all of my payments. This company is fraudulent and treats their customers terribly. They have now stated that I havent made an allotment payment since March when I have made all payments subsequent to that.

    Good afternoon,
    Thank you for your response.
    Please note that a payment was made on August 4, 2025, outside of the terms of the loan agreement and without my explicit authorization. This payment was related to a refinancing of a previous loan that ended, during which the allotment did not change. You may apply this payment toward the alleged past due balance, for which you have yet to provide sufficient proof. Alternatively, I request a full refund of that payment so that I may address the disputed balance directly.

    It is also worth noting that I am aware BMG Money transitioned banks around the relevant period. If a payment was missed, it is likely due to a processing error on your side. I am open to resolving this matter swiftly and fairly, but it must be handled transparently.

    Being notified in 2025 of an alleged missed payment from 2023 is unacceptable. Had I been informed in a timely manner, this issue could have been resolved immediately. Imposing additional fees now is not only unjust, but may also constitute deceptive business practices.

    While the disputed amount of $155 is not significant, I will not pay anything beyond that amount. If my unauthorized August 4, 2025 payment is not refunded or properly applied, and if you continue to misrepresent my payment history, I will pursue legal action. Additionally, I am prepared to escalate this matter by filing formal complaints with the following agencies:

    I am writing again to follow up on our ongoing dispute regarding the alleged past due balance and your handling of an unauthorized payment and provide a little more clarification regarding this matter. 

    You recently stated that the payment withdrawn on August 4, 2023, was applied to the principal of my loan. However, this payment was taken before my loans first scheduled due date of August 18, 2023, and without my authorization. At no point did I request or consent to a principal-only payment, especially one made before the loan term officially began.

    Applying a pre-loan, unauthorized payment to principal rather than to upcoming scheduled obligations is not only inappropriate, it deprived me of the ability to use those funds to remain current according to the agreed payment schedule. This misapplication is likely the root of the alleged delinquency you now cite for September 1, 2023, and constitutes a breach of fair lending and billing practices.

    Additionally, you failed to notify me of this supposed delinquency until this month, nearly two years later, after which late fees were assessed, and my refinance eligibility reset. That delay in notification directly harmed my ability to resolve the matter at the time and is completely unacceptable.

    I am once again requesting:

    Written confirmation that the August 4, 2023 payment will be reapplied appropriately or refunded in full.
    Removal of any associated late fees or penalties caused by this misapplication.
    Immediate correction of any negative credit reporting tied to this alleged delinquency.

    I applied for a loan and was told to enter their banking info to set up direct deposit through my employer. They took money out my check and denied me the loan. They sent me an email saying they owe me a refund, however I still haven't received it. I called multiple times yesterday and was told a supervisor would call me and that didn't happen. They told me I would have my money Friday and that didn't happen They told me I need to send them a void check to get my money back. Why do I have to do that when they took my money ? They have my bank account info. The **** hang up the phone and say they been on the phone too long . I want my REFUND ASAP. They keep playing games about my refund saying they need proof when they already sent me an email saying they owe me !. The customer service ***** and I'm tired of dealing with them.

    I took out a loan through BMG Money that was issued by *******. Although the loan was for $6,000, I only received $1,331 in cashmost of the loan went to pay off a previous loan with the same company. The APR is *****%, and Im set to repay more than $11,300 over four years, through payroll deduction.This doesnt feel fair or transparent. The actual money I received is a small fraction of the loan, but Im paying interest on the full amount. I believe this loan is structured in a predatory way and takes advantage of federal employees. Id like the company to review and explain the loan breakdown and offer a resolution, like reducing the amount owed or refunding some of the finance charges.

    Thank you for the response. However, I do not accept this as a resolution to my complaint.

    Your response simply restates the terms of the contract, which I am already aware of. My complaint is not about whether the terms were disclosed, but rather the predatory nature of those terms and the way the loan was structured:
    I only received $1,331.75 out of a $6,000 loan.
    The rest was used to pay off a previous loan with the same lenderessentially refinancing old debt at a higher cost.
    The APR of *****% results in me paying over $11,300 total, which is nearly double the amount borrowed.
    The use of automatic payroll deductions from my federal paycheck makes the loan extremely hard to manage or escape.

    This loan structure is financially abusive, especially toward federal employees who are often targeted because of their job security. I am asking for a good faith review of this loan and a reduction in the total repayment amount or a refund of excessive finance charges.

    Until that happens, I do not consider this matter resolved.

    I acknowledge that I signed the promissory note, and I have reviewed the document you provided. However, your response completely ignores the core issues of my complaint.

    This is not about whether I signed the loan documentsits about the predatory structure of the loan:

    I received only $1,331.75 in cash out of a $6,000 loan, with the rest used to pay off a previous loan.
    Despite this, I am being charged *****% APR and expected to repay over $11,300 through automatic payroll deductions.
    I am paying interest on funds I never actually received.

    Your company is targeting federal employees like myself with high-cost loans that are difficult to exit due to automatic paycheck deductions. That is the issuenot the existence of the promissory note.

    I am continuing to pursue this matter with the ****, the *************************, and my Congressional representatives. I again request that BMG Money reconsider this loan and offer a fair resolution.

    This company has token double payments from my account twice in the last 30 days.     I had a loan with BMG Money that I paid off on March 14th 2025. I called a couple of weeks later to inform them that the account they had on file was closed and I wanted to make sure that my over payment would go to the account that I used to pay my loan off with and I let them know they had taken another $95 payment out of my check. At that time I was told that my refund would go to the current account and that I had to stop payment through my job which I was unaware of so I did just that after that phone call. After I stopped payment I was notified through my job it could take up to 2 payroll cycles for it to take place. 1 more payment of $95 came out on April 11th. *** immediately refunded my April 11th to my current account but I had not received the previous 2 over payments. I Since have called them 7 different times over the span of almost 2 months and every time I call I'm being told something different. I was told that those payments went to my old account and that I needed to call that bank to receive my funds. I called that bank and they said they have nothing and my name doesn't even come up in their systems because I have not had an account with them for almost 2 years. I have been told my call was escalated to a supervisor when I've requested one and never received any responses. I have been told to email them my bank statements so I can prove I didnt receive my funds, I did that and still have not received anything from the 1st 2 payments of $95.I have been on the phone with them each 30min or more and put on hold several times for them to "investigate" with no resolution after. I've being told I'll receive a call back or been told to contact my bank because they sent it. I explained to them I had called way before this became a problem to verify my account. I've been told 2 different times that 2 payments went to my old account while other **** are telling me to contact my bank even though I've sent statements showing I haven't gotten anything.

    I paid this account in full March *********. I filed a dispute via ******** on May 16th requesting *** update my paid off balance to the credit bureaus so it can show I don't have any more outstanding personal loans. Experian sent my dispute results 6/4/25 and *** is stating as of today I owe a balance of $1448. I am consolidating my debt and this is affecting my attempt as I do not a owe BMG anything. I have provided proof of my zero balance via their website and of the report from Experian. I would like an accurate report from *** showing a $0 balance.

    $1,875.30-Outstanding balance , We noticed you are behind on your payments. Click here to pay your amount past due of $1,185.65 This is my second loan with ***,i didnt notice on the first one any irregularities, when I checked my credit and acct, realized it was showing me delinquent, its setup as an allotment, and i was never notified of any missing payments or any irregularities, when I contacted agent he told me that I had missed a payment, at the time of phone call back a few months or last year, i asked the amount and he didn't give detail, told me to go with another company if i wanted loan, I was never contacted about it at phone on record, agent made it seem like I missed a payment not payments and I didn't see anywhere that I missed the past due amount, even adding in late fees, which didn't make since either, maybe with interest, but I shouldn't have to audit, something they could have just took the time to properly explain, and as far as I know i didn't have a break in paychecks, so its and allotment setup that comes out automatically. if the amount is correct then explain it to me and the late fees are applied at random points in the statement, even though it looks like they received the payment on consecutive pay periods.

    Open the loan September ******* borrowed $3001. Paid back $1,350 as of May6th 2025. This company BMG MONEY is a complete SCAM! I still owe $2342.94.     I paid my loan off in full on 03/21/2025&they will not take it off my credit report. Then they added a late charge to my credit report which is untrue I have documentation showing they took it out of my bank account on auto pay twice a month and I have an agreement that states that they can take it out once a month and instead they did it twice which I never complained about but I am now. I filed a complaints with Experian three different times and they still haven't took it off my credit report when I even sent in all the documentation from the bank and *** themselves stating that I paid off the loan in full but for some reason they still won't take it off my credit report. This should be criminal. When I call up there they told me there's nothing they can do I need to hire a credit specialist. What a joke but the only thing is I'm not laughing, they are costing time and money because I am trying to start a business and I need my business loans and because they put that on my credit report it dropped 60 points. Companies like this should not be able to report anything they want especially false information to the credit bureau and not be held accountable. They are so fast to put it on your credit report but getting it off especially when it's untrue is almost impossible.
