    I took out a loan through BMG Money that was issued by *******. Although the loan was for $6,000, I only received $1,331 in cashmost of the loan went to pay off a previous loan with the same company. The APR is *****%, and Im set to repay more than $11,300 over four years, through payroll deduction.This doesnt feel fair or transparent. The actual money I received is a small fraction of the loan, but Im paying interest on the full amount. I believe this loan is structured in a predatory way and takes advantage of federal employees. Id like the company to review and explain the loan breakdown and offer a resolution, like reducing the amount owed or refunding some of the finance charges.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Thank you for the response. However, I do not accept this as a resolution to my complaint.

    Your response simply restates the terms of the contract, which I am already aware of. My complaint is not about whether the terms were disclosed, but rather the predatory nature of those terms and the way the loan was structured:
    I only received $1,331.75 out of a $6,000 loan.
    The rest was used to pay off a previous loan with the same lenderessentially refinancing old debt at a higher cost.
    The APR of *****% results in me paying over $11,300 total, which is nearly double the amount borrowed.
    The use of automatic payroll deductions from my federal paycheck makes the loan extremely hard to manage or escape.

    This loan structure is financially abusive, especially toward federal employees who are often targeted because of their job security. I am asking for a good faith review of this loan and a reduction in the total repayment amount or a refund of excessive finance charges.

    Until that happens, I do not consider this matter resolved.

    I acknowledge that I signed the promissory note, and I have reviewed the document you provided. However, your response completely ignores the core issues of my complaint.

    This is not about whether I signed the loan documentsits about the predatory structure of the loan:

    I received only $1,331.75 in cash out of a $6,000 loan, with the rest used to pay off a previous loan.
    Despite this, I am being charged *****% APR and expected to repay over $11,300 through automatic payroll deductions.
    I am paying interest on funds I never actually received.

    Your company is targeting federal employees like myself with high-cost loans that are difficult to exit due to automatic paycheck deductions. That is the issuenot the existence of the promissory note.

    I am continuing to pursue this matter with the ****, the *************************, and my Congressional representatives. I again request that BMG Money reconsider this loan and offer a fair resolution.

    I've continued to apply for loans with this company and they give the same response that they can't verify identity however when I attempt to reach out to them via phone no one ever answers. I've made endless calls and no answer whatsoever. This wrong and untrue all of the info plus all of the documents they've asked me to upload is enough to verify my identity. This company without actually doing anything just denies loans

    I am rejecting this response because: Every lending company that I've used who utilizes ********** can verify my identity along with my SSN. I believe *** is deliberately denying my loan request. It's makes no sense that this is the only company who can't seem to verify my SSN. I've provided what was necessary and wasn't asked to provide anymore verifying documents.

    My credit score dropped 60 points because I was told there was an audit that took place in January and I had missed payments. I understand that the payment was coming out of my paycheck at one point but I switched jobs and debit payments were coming out automatically. Either way I paid the the balance they stated I owed, however. This was not reflected on my credit report and the amount being reported on my credit report is off by hundreds of dollars. I spoke with a representative and they stated it would be corrected in the next cycle that was 100 days ago still no change. I want my points returned correctly and this also seems to be issue many others are having.

    Here I am once again with the same issue. Last month this company reported incorrect information on my credit report drastically lowering my score. Now I face the same issue today on 5/22/25. They have not taken the payment off of my debt automatically today like they have been. And also reported the same incorrect information on my credit report again lowering my score. This has to be illegal at this point.

    Bmg money loan $200 a month through allotment. First payment they took $200 from my allotment and also took $200 from my checking account. We have called them 7 times and emailed them 5 times to correct this. They keep saying they will get back to us but no call backs or email. .

    For the last 2 months I been contacting BMG Money regarding inaccurate information on my credit report such as a 30 day late Payment for the month of January. I credit score dropped a total of 60 points. *** deduct money from my payroll check bi weekly. Ive file serval disputes, attempt to contact BMG Money regarding inaccurate information and has not removed this late payment. Effective March 6, 2025 the balance was paid in full. However, *** still reporting the amount is delinquent. Ive been in contact with all 3 credit agencies and information is coming back verified. I have supporting documentation late that the account was paid in full as well as no history of being 30 day late Payment. Im requesting this account be updated or deleted from my credit history. The credit bureau is all reporting differently. All Im requesting is someone to fully verify the account and please update. *** attached a copy of the loan agreement. The lender is hurting my credit I was in the process of closing on my home and this hit my credit causing me to lose out on a opportunity this is unacceptable and Im requesting help

    It is almost impossible to get a live agent on the phone to discuss your account with this company. I have paid this company on time over 24 consecutive months with no late payments. On Jan 2025 they placed a late payment on my account when I missed no payments. I informed them via email and filed disputes with all three credit bureaus, and they still have not resolved my credit profile with accurate information. In addition, a check was submitted to them on Jan 29, 2025, for a full payoff of over $8,000 and they still have not updated my account with a balance of $0. This company went under new management a couple of years ago and they have no customer service. They also have a lot of glitches in their platform which does not document your payment dates correctly with due dates. They also had to refund me monies in Feb because they had received an over payment. I paid them a total of $310.00 per month ($155 *********************************) bi-monthly in the form of and allotment from my government job (See allotment #3 totaling $582 which includes 2 additional allotments. One $400 and the other $22 to two other companies). I have attached paystubs for the month of Nov 24, Dec 24 and Jan 25 which shows they received their allotment amount from my paycheck from the federal government in addition to a check totaling over $8,000 from my credit union which was mailed to them and the balance paid in full. This erroneous reporting is causing an adverse effect on my credit profile, and I want it corrected with all bureaus immediately. I have gotten no response. If I do not have this corrected within the next week I will be seeking an attorney. Make this place your last result to do business with. They are straight trash.

    am writing in regard to a recent discrepancy I noticed on my credit reports from the three major credit bureaus. My account has been inaccurately reported as being 30 days late in January 2025. While I acknowledge that the payment was made after the due date, it was not 30 days late, and therefore should not have been reported as such.I have received the payment transaction summary letter from BMG Money, which confirms that the account was never 30 days past due. Based on this documentation, I respectfully request that you correct this error with all three credit bureaus immediately. They refuse to do so.

    Payments are automatically drafted from my account. First *** said that I had a missed payment from February so I assumed this year. I sent an email with bank statements showing payment. Second, *** tells me it's from February 2024. *** stated there was an audit and the missed payment was discovered. ??? 60 weeks later you noticed a missed payment but you've been drafting my account with no issues. I don't believe this debt is valid. Reading the other complaints from other consumers experiencing the same issues is concerning and hoping that the information is shared with the appropriate government agency that can accurately investigate the multiple allegations of ***eatedly mis***orting financial transactions

    I am rejecting this response because: BMG money sent me a copy of my payment history. I enclosed a screenshot from my bank app showing proof of payment that is listed as returned on their ledger. I was also sent a debt letter for 192.00.  The current pending late  balance on their platform is *****. I have proof of payment for 07/29/24. However, this payment is not reflected in my payment history. I made 2 payments on 07/05/24 which is not reflected in the payment history. The second payment was for the 07/15/24 payment. As per my original complaint, *** had a history of misreporting financial transactions

    I used BMG money when I was an employee at the local ******* and saw the loan as a way to pay for classes. I conitnue to make payments but I have receive texts phone calls, and emails about missed payments and I know those communication are false. I even show records of my bank transactions that showed my money going to bmg money. I told them I havent missed payments. I feel like they wont you to pay extra or fail to keep up with customers payment history. I need it to stop.
