    The business has duped me for $350 thru an online transaction. They have not returned my money, and I canceled the service of them transporting my bike from ** to **. I have all emails and text messages from them. After realizing they were incapable of even getting the date correct to pick up my bike, and some intimidating emails trying to get me to continue the sale, I repeatedly asked, and then told them, to cancel the service. I have asked them three times using the ************* provided by my bank, to return the money to me. I have received no further communications from this company, and am at a loss on how to recoup my money. I surely would never do business with them again, and now I am partial to not do any business in the future, with the industry, as a whole. This was my first time attempting to transport a vehicle, and I feel like they had the scheme patented for people like me.

    Background:
    On 01/12/2024, we initiated the transportation of your vehicle from *********, ** ***** to *********, ** ***** as per the agreed-upon terms outlined in the contract. Our team meticulously planned and executed the logistics process to ensure the safe and timely delivery of your consignment.

    Client called the driver and cancelled the order due to some household errands.

    Factors Leading to the Dispute:
    Order was dispatched according to the client's agreement on a quoted price and the driver was on his way to pick up the vehicle. But somehow after exchanging the details of customer with driver and driver with customer. Client called the driver and cancelled the order due to some household errands.
    It is clearly written in the signed agreement that if Customer cancels between 24 hours prior pick up then there will be cancellation fee and deposit is non-refundable.

    Dispatched orders must be canceled by calling the offices of Move Right Auto Transport

    I am rejecting this response because: There are so many lies in that reply, it is almost funny.  I never called any driver, as there was never a driver or **mpany assigned to pick up my bike.  if there was, i would love to see the paperwork regarding this.  I cancelled with Moverightautotransport and have numerous emails that show the **mmunication between myself and ***********************, a rep for the **mpany.  I did not cancel due to 'household errands'.   lol  I cancelled because in one of the many emails, the ** had a pickup date for my bike as 1/16/24, which was useless to me, as I have now been living in ** since this past Sunday, the ************* left ** on the 13th.  There would be no motorcycle to pick up on the 16th, and so I canceled, after foolishly giving to much money ($350), as a deposit, to what I now know with hindsight, is a very shady **mpany.  This was another expensive ****** for me.  I should have done more homework and research, and found a reputable **mpany.

    It takes time and negotiation to engage a driver. Engaging a driver for a particular route is difficult most of the time. When we had engaged the driver for **** and driver was on the way for a pick up, in the last hour customer calls to cancel it. At this last stage we have invested our resources, the driver has invested his/her resources and would have given up any other pick up to facilitate this customer. A refund for cancellation in the last hour is impossible. I submitted the dispatch notes from the carrier "Super Sport Transport LLC" . I am re-sharing the clause from our cancellation and refund policy. We would have gone extra mile to come to a middle ground  with the customer however in this case it will be a loss to us. Had an earlier cancellation or email would have have been sent to us we would have been in a better position to accommodate the customer.

     

    8. Cancellation and Refund Policy 
    Customer is to pay a cancellation fee of seventy-five ($75.00) should customer cancel the order after the booking has been made. Payments (deposits) are refundable should the broker is unable to provide a carrier for shipment by the due date of the shipment. If the Order is canceled for any reason after a Carrier accepts the Order, such reasons including but not limited to Customer canceling an Order, Move ********************** canceling an Order due to the Customers breach of these TERMS or if the Carrier is denied pick up of the Shipment for any reason when the Carrier arrives at the Point of Origin, then the Customer agrees to pay a minimum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) in cancellation fees as Move Rights services have been rendered at that point. Customer understands and accepts that the Customer may be subject to additional cancellation fees including but not limited to a dry run fee imposed by a Carrier and other vendors contracted to fulfill Customers Order.
    Cancellation of an Order by Customer must be submitted in writing via email sent to **********************************
