I paid a certain amount and was told it would be picked up in a few days. And that was weeks ago. Now when I call or send text messages, I cannot get a response or a call back. I even told her my mom wanted the car out of the garage and needed the car to be picked up. I cant even get a hold of them to get my refund.Initial Complaint

We contacted this company after getting no response from a different transport company, explained the situation that my son, who is in the Navy, needed his vehicles transported from ********** ** to **** ** and we needed a solid pick up date. We were guaranteed pick up by 5/2 from 2 different people on a call with the company. They told my husband they "had a driver ready to go". We signed their contract, paid the deposit and we told we would get a call the next day to give us the pick up schedule. We received no call. We emailed, twice, with no response. My husband called 7 times on 5/1 with only one person ever answering the call, only to tell him he was being rude and that it wasn't an emergency and they hung up on him. I called and received a similar response. When I told the person who answered that I saw that they had several complaints on the BBB site, she said "I don't have to take that kind of talk or insults" and I stated that it wasn't an insult, but a fact so she hung up. I left voicemails with the "supervisor" and received no call back- no update. They took my money willingly enough, but have not provided the contracted service, or given even a slight piece of customer service. STAY AWAY, this is not a reputable company.Initial Complaint

Received and signed a docusign contract to pick up my car in ******* to transport to ******** ($575 total) with pick up between 3-29-23 and 3-31-23. Never happened. Repeated calls went unanswered. ***** later I was finally able to make contact at which point they said they could not do it for that money and wanted more money. Classic bait and switch. I was able to work out an arrangement with the driver, however New Way would not refund my $175 deposit. Would highly recommend everyone avoid this broker - they are dishonest, misleading, and downright crooked!Initial Complaint

I used the as a broker to find me a driver to deliver my car. I paid them $295 with a credit card upfront. When it was time for me to have my car delivers. The company notified me that I would have to pay the the driver $250 when the car is deliver because the driver doesn't take credit card payments. New Way told me they will refund me the difference which was $175. They never refunded my money. I signed a contract and they broke it. I keep calling and leaving messages. No one answers the phone or calls me back. This company is a fraud and they are stealing customers money!Initial Complaint

They promised me and singing a contract on shipping my car took my money and then they would not talk to me yell at me on the phone and told me they were canceling my delivery and give me my money back which they never did stole my money. Just horrible.Initial Complaint

When contracting New Way Movers to transport my car from ******* to **************, New Way Movers more than doubled the price of the service on the eve of pickup in ******* on 2/21/23. Contract with New Way Movers was $395 but I had to pay $700 at the time of delivery in ** after already making a $225 deposit with New Way Movers. New Way Movers is conducting fraudulent business practices, using a scam bait and swtich routine when the consumer has no other choice. On 12 March 2023, we arranged for New Way moving company to transport a car from *************, ** to **********, **. We paid a deposit on our credit card for $210 with the understanding that the remaining balance would be paid upon delivery of the car. We were told that we would hear from the dispatcher the next day to schedule pick up. The dispatcher never called. We called the company back every day until the expected pick up date asking for a status update and to date no one has called. When calling no one would answer so we left voicemails. They would not answer if we called from our phone but when we called from a different number they would answer of call back to that new number but still no resolution. We called them today and told them we are canceling since no one is calling us back and they claimed they have been working on it all morning but today is supposed to be the pick up date. We are going to call our credit card company and let them know that this company has scammed us out of our deposit in Hope to recover our money. If the credit card company does not refund us then we want our money back from the company. This company is not good at communicating to keep you informed of what going on with the process.Initial Complaint

Signed contract on 2/24 and paid initial deposit of $195 through cash app as requested by *****. They allegedly dispatched a driver, then called after the pick up and delivery window to say that the driver didnt have a DOT license and couldnt go into the area. They FAILED to acquire a reputable driver. I then asked for a refund of my deposit after being told they could hold it for a year in case I needed moving services again. I declined and asked for a refund. I was told I would receive a text with the billing information, and have not. I then requested a refund through cash app and they declined it. On December 23rd we arranged for our cars to be picked up and they kept cancelling on us saying that they had no drivers and then they had one but caught COVID and a bunch of bs excuses I asked for a refund and waiting till holidays past but it has been over a month that they still dont give me my money back. I have to constantly be on the phone with them which they ignore my calls and messages now! When the rude a** lady answers she hangs up on me and tell me Im impatient how professional of them. She is pretending to be different persons when she asked me to email or call her boss its the same person!! This NEW WAY MOVING SERVICES is such a FRAUD PLEASE do not waste your money or time on these pieces of s*** They will scam you. This is not a review, this is a social message to prevent companies like this from continuing to scam people without receiving any kind of punishment, If you as an organization continue to allow this kind of behavior, you will also be affected in some way since you will lose credibility. Just check the reviews from this I don't if calling them Company because they are not, they are abusing and using documents and the law to take advantage of customer as me. They over charge you, over promise , lie, and they don't really take serious what they suppose to do, after all this they moved our truck and they don't gave us our registration papers nothing, they just took the truck and dropped without any documentation , now they said they never took registration or any documentation; At some point I have felt that this organization can steal and break the laws without receiving any sanction or type of punishment, my question is who defends the consumer when they don't have a lawyer to cover? Who controls these organizations? Why, despite all the reviews and complaints, do they continue to scam people?, Furthermore, after a month of waiting, I decided to go to their office, the address that appears on their website and ****** map, and discovered that it is not real, that this address is false, when I called them to say that I was in the building , an extremely rude employee told me that I can not be there, and that I had to wait for her call; The security agent did not know anything about that office, he did not see any sign that was totally false.
