I had paid a $250 deposit for lipo and bbl with New Life for what was supposed to include two extra spots for Lipo that would include arms and chin. I then spoke to 305 plastic surgery which I was told is owned by New life Plastic surgery to get a quote for a revision on breast augmentation I previously had. I paid $250 for the deposit on the breast augmentation since I wanted to have everything done at one time. After taking my money I mentioned to her that I had paid a quote for a bbl through New Life and she asked which Doctor did I pay for the bbl with and when I told her *************** she said that's odd because *************** is no longer actively working with them due to her age and health. She also mentioned the two extra areas of lipo would not be included if I did not get surgery done this year. I mentioned to the coordinator I would not be able to have the surgery this year and yet she didn't mention that these two extra areas would not be included after the year ends, she just told me I was taking advantage of a special price and was more than happy to take my money without going over really important details. Long story short, this is not what I signed up for,everything about this screams scam and I was told that I would not get either deposit back so i'm out $500 even though I never set a date for surgery with them and I just want to share my experience with anyone that will listen so they don't make the same mistake of doing business with a company that makes it's sales by withholding key information from potential patientsBusiness Response

I was scheduled to have surgery with Dr.Nosarti on Aug 27, 2024. I was contacted on Aug 1st, 2024, and told that the doctor would not be able to keep this date because he had a conference in *************. I was offered a credit to take a sooner date. I agreed to Aug 22, 2024. Forcing me to rush all my labs, etc. I did everything as instructed. My labs, ***, etc were all good. The day I went to get medical clearance from my primary doctor, he recommended I also get clearance from a hematologist due to a clot I developed back in 2016. This was due to birth control and have not had any medical issues at all since. I let my coordinator know that the hematologist will see me and sign off the clearance because I have not had any issues. Coordinator reached out and informed me that ********** would not perform the surgery on me because he feels it is a risk. Fair enough, I am not arguing the cancellation. However, I was told someone from the refunds department will contact me regarding my refund. I called multiple times and keep getting excuses. I was told notes were left for the manager to contact me. I spoke to a coordinator who told me I would not be getting my money back. I paid a total of *****!!!! The doctor rescheduled and then ultimately cancelled on me!!!!! I should be getting all of my money back. No one has contacted me and refusing to take my calls. I just want my money back!! I am rejecting this response because:Once again the representative from New Life Plastic Surgery reached out via text message. Was very unprofessional and informed me that I would only be receiving ***** back and that was final. **** stated that my deposit $500 plus $1500 for cancellation fee. I am not satisfied with this outcome. Firstly my deposit was 250. Where does it state my deposit was $500!!? I am very reasonable person and I am not arguing the doctors denial of the surgery, or the deposit of $250. Ill take that. However, the refund of ***** is of essence here.
I reread everything and no where does it state that I would be charged ***** PLUS deposit of $500 if anything the document sent to me says cancellation must not exceed 1500. Document provided states the 1500 is for same day cancellations for anesthesia, surgery room time etc. I did not cancel. I have the doctors paperwork. I did not obstruct information. I sent *** my coordinator a text because she would not answer the phone I stated I need clearance from a hematologist because of a dvt in 2016. The text message is timestamped. I did not fail to inform staff. Additionally I never met the doctor nor was my medical evaluation done via phone. Instead I was sent a very difficult to read copy pasted generic questions. I do not have a condition of bloodclots. I had one once in my life almost 10 years ago due to nuva ring contraceptive. I can prove. Some women get them during pregnancy. Again, I understand the doctor is not at fault and protecting himself since he has had deaths due to same reasons. It is just unjust keeping someones money who did nothing wrong. Also a representative from New Life told on a call 8/8 around 1:50pm that I will get my money back just not the $250 deposit. **** was very rude and stating ***** cancellation. This is unjust and bad business. I expected more from New Life. Now I understand the bad reviews. This is causing me so much unnecessary stress, hardship, and pain and suffering. I am rejecting this response because:The representative has been extremely rude and unable to provide email address or contract. I let her know the link expired as I signed this contract 8/22/23. The clinic is extremely unprofessional and is providing false documentation. All they do is text. Firstly, my deposit was $250 I have attached that from my original contract signed 8/22/23. The representative is now saying my deposit $500 (lies) is non refundable and ***** cancellation fee which does not apply to me. The contract states if cancelled day of. I was cancelled by the doctor 14 days prior to NEW date which WAS CHANGED BY THE CLINIC because the doctor was going on a conference. And 20 DAYS PRIOR FROM MY ORIGINAL DATE. They had me rush my labs and stated to have pre-op and surgery on the same day! The contract states charges should not exceed ***** and its for costs incurred by the clinic for surgery room time, anesthesia, etc. Clinic did not incur ANY costs as it was cancelled by the doctor ***** days prior. Which again this surgery was to be cancelled anyway because the doctor had a conference and HE COULD NOT KEEP THE ORIGINAL DATE ANYWAY. Its why they offered me a credit to take a sooner date. I am not disputing my $250 deposit. Although I should have everything refunded, I understand the $250 is a non refundable deposit. 250! Not 500! Its the ***** I am wanting in full! This clinic is unjust and bunch of crooks. People work hard for their money. No wonder New Life has such a bad reputation. I truly wish I had done my research. This is a nightmare. I am rejecting this response because:I only received a refund of *****. Agent **** texted me stating $500 deposit and ***** cancellation fee. Which again, my deposit was $250 and I attached the documentation proving so.
A cancellation fee does not apply to be under these circumstances claimed by the clinic. No surgery room time or anesthesiologist cost were acquired by the establishment as stated in said contract. I did not cancel day of. Surgeon cancelled on me 20 days prior to a date that wasn't even my original surgery date for issues far out of my control(medical). The original surgery date was cancelled by the clinic because of Dr.Nosarti having a conference in ********. So, would I charge the doctor a cancellation fee? For time I took off work for this planned procedure. The way this clinic has handled this matter has been unjust and plain unprofessional. I have yet to speak to an actual person. All they do is text. I understand I signed 250 nonrefundable DEPOSIT. I am accepting this. Although at this point, I should have all my money back. I do not accept an additional $1,750 when services were not rendered. I never even step foot in that office or even spoke to a doctor. Let alone medically evaluated by your establishment. I am rejecting this response because:I do not have a condition. I had a one-time occurrence of a blood clot which happens to women even during pregnancy. This was confirmed by a hematologist and Ihave paperwork stating so. I obviously did disclose it, thus why the surgery was canceled. Additionally was canceled 14 days prior by the clinic not the patient. Communication with coordinator is attached. Hematologist provided paperwork for clearance. Lets add that medical evaluation was never verified and I never stepped foot in this office once. Your clinic did not inquire any surgery room time or anesthesiologist cost as stated in contract.
Additionally the clinic is lying trying to keep my money. My deposit was 250$ which was paid 8/22/23 and I have attached my original invoice.
Again, the cancellation fee does not apply and now you are trying to keep an additional $250. This clinic is untrustworthy, unethical, and unprofessional. Refund the remaining balance and the extra $250 you are stealing. This is really bad business!

Your policy states surgery room time and anesthesiologist cost in which your clinic did not inquire because the surgery was canceled by the clinic very much ahead of time.

I am rejecting this response because:I am writing to once again request the remaining refund of my deposit. As previously mentioned, the clinic canceled my procedure, and there were no costs incurred for anesthesiologist fees or surgery room time, as the cancellation happened well in advance. Additionally, the doctor postponed my surgery, and it was clear the procedure would have been canceled regardless due to his conference in *************. I was call Aug 1 and informed of this- I understand your conversations are recorded.
Furthermore, I must address a misrepresentation on the clinics part: my deposit was $250, not $500, as your records claim. My invoice proves so. This inaccuracy, combined with the unjustified withholding of my 1750 is unacceptable.
If I do not receive the remaining refund promptly, I will be left with no option but to take this matter to small claims court. I believe resolving this fairly would be in the best interest of both parties.

I am being charged $1500 only AFTER asking for a refund. First they said i'm being charged because I cancelled 30 days before but I didn't cancel. Then they said I did not show up to pre op date but I didn't have one because they took me off the schedule so how can I come to pre op with no surgery scheduled? Then you said you tried calling to follow up on my labs but i confirmed those, I did my labs more than once! Now they are saying that i'm getting charged because I didn't answer to confirm surgery AGAIN (after confirming a million times) this was on the 7th which is friday but I responded back on the next business day, which is the 10th on a monday. After accepting the fee I was told I am being charged another $500 for the deposit but i paid $250 for the deposit and thats what my contract says. They are so unprofessional in communication and as you can see there my surgery was confirmed prior to me being taken off the schedule. The contract also states I cannot be charged over $1500. I cannot show up for pre op with no surgery date. I was told this on June 7th when my surgery is the 14th, the next business day is MONDAY june 10th so thats the only reason it was a couple days before and I was told there is 24 month hold with my balance and deposit and when im ready to schedule i can let them know. As you can see in attachments my labs were also faxed more than once weeks before surgery date. I was prepared, now theyre telling me to continue with surgery but Ill still be charged a fee, this clinic is scamming innocent patients.

Update: As of July 9, still NO CONTACT from ANYONE in this office. Even after I sent the email to their office with contact information. At this point I just want whats due to me. Im not trying to bash anyone but their actions and lack of response is speaking loudly for this practice. On March 1, 2024 I signed a contract to have a BBL with **************** on April 16, 2024. I was told that I would need to pay a $250 non-refundable deposit. I overpaid that deposit by $2. New Life Plastic Surgery contacted me less than a month before my surgery date and told me that **************** would be out of the country and could not preform the surgery on that date. I told them that I had already booked my flight and hotel and that this was unacceptable. I booked my Tummy Tuck with Dr. ***** on March 12,2024. I was awaiting further paperwork for my labs, etc and then on May 15th, I was notified by texted that my surgery needed to be completed in a hospital. As Im waiting on further instructions as date change, physician change, etc. there was silence. I reached out multiple times just to be told my surgery was completely canceled. I had surgery with this company 2 months ago. I paid for 2 parts of the surgery that were not done because the surgeon stated once he was operating those were found to not be necessary. I am rejecting this response because:I was told 30 days and now going on 9 weeks. I've asked once a week for updates. See responses above. She only says "I'll tell you when check is sent out" but will never answer my question asking why it wasn't sent in the agreed 30 days and what the new timeframe is. I've called multiple times, waited on hold over an hour. Each time someone answers to tell me they will send my message along for someone to call me back. No one has called back. I need to know why it wasn't sent within 30 days as I was told and WHEN it would be sent. This isn't a refund I'm requesting for something I'm not happy with. I came in, paid everything I owed and more, had my surgery. I'm simply asking a refund for the portion of my surgery that Dr. ***** felt was not needed. Very quick and easy refund without any complaints until **** refused to act professionally and communicate effectively.

I have filed a complaint and messaging back and forth regarding this refund that I am waiting on. The company continues to offer alternative sch as another surgery, however, still no refund. I am not asking for a refund for services provided or due to being not happy with services. I simply paid for additional things to be added to my procedure if needed, however, the doctor determined they were not necessary. I am simply asking for that portion to be returned. I was told it would be returned within 30 days and it has been nine weeks. I would like someone to step in as it seems the company does not understand.Business Response

I was scheduled to have plastic surgery done on may 8th i communicate with the coordinator the whole time through a text message i ask the coordinator how long do i have to stay and she told me the mandatory was my pre op appointment my surgery and the post op appointment so i scheduled my flight and made arrangements to stay in ***** for the mandatory appointment only once I got there for my pre op appointments the surgeon told me I would have to stay at 6 days to monitor me due to the lack of incorrect information i was not able to get my surgery done on may 8th I didnt have any extra fund to stay for the 6th days so I was force to cancel my surgery and do back home I wasted money on a recovery house which was over 1000 I wasted money on my plan ticket didnt get a refund for that and now they are giving me the run around about giving me a refund I dont want any trouble all Im asking for is a simple refund of my money back and that it than they try to tell me there would be a cancellation fee how ? When your company misinformed me I need a total refund with no cancellation fee involve that the least they can do for all the inconvenience I was put through..Business Response

Probably one of the worse places to have surgery lol. They only care about the money like every other surgery company in *****. I actually did have surgery here and regret every second of it. I had an appointment for my preop and I was there for about eight hours, and there were so many fees that were not mentioned then the day of my surgery I was waiting for the doctor for about six hours, and they took your phone away and everything and put you in a cold room until you see the doctor. That was stupid and frustrating. And Ive even seen many women that were there who were very disappointed after their surgery because they literally had no results. Also, its like a chop shop. They are just so many people there. Before my surgery, they told my fianc that she would have the pain medication before I was handed to her and that did not happen. They gave her the script after they literally wheeled me down and walked away, and there were absolutely no pharmacies open. They didnt speak English when she was asking them questions about the scripts and I was literally crying and shaking to the point where she started crying because they just did not care. Horrible mal practices at that place. I had my massage booked at the place and when I got there they told me there were no spots available and they were going to try to fit me in and once again there were 1 million people there. They rescheduled me Before I paid. Dr ****** assistant was texting me consistently and then after the surgery I literally possibly texted that girl like 500 times and she never replied. I started texting ****** who gave me her number she tried to help, but ultimately was not a help at all. I expressed to Dr ***** that the most important thing to me was my stomach and literally I came out looking the same way that I went in there and I had the pictures were proof and everything. He basically told me F me and refused me a revision or even compensation.Business Response

I scheduled a surgery with Doctor ********************** @ New Life Plastic Surgery. He refused to do my surgery because of my age. No one addressed that my age would be a problem when I gave my deposit. I was told that I would receive my deposit. After several calls and attempts. I went to my bank for a dispute. My bank put the money back, but after an investigation they paid them. I called several times to New Life and asked to speak to a manager. They gave me excuses. Then I was told because I did a dispute with my bank. That I would not get my money back. I understand it if I canceled, but I did not.
