            On September 14, 2023 I left the Zinnia Health facility to transfer to one that better fit my needs. They didn't want to discharge me so I had to AMA from there. I was told I could come the following morning to get them but ******* told by a different supervisor that morning that I had to wait 72 hours until I could get my belongings. I got non-emergency police Miami-Dade involved and they said that the faclity had the right to hold my belongings because of a paper. I haven't been able to get in contact with someone from Zinnia Health in regards to the facility withholding my belongings. Its very disappointing when I was told I could not receive my property back. List of my belongings:Green suitcase Light purple reebok backpack Light blue little reebok backpack Laptop with charger Ashes in a little purple sack bag Laundry sack with clothes and shoes Laundry basket with toileties and clothes Blue folder with papers, coloring pages and a mini journal Anatomy and physiology coloring book 1 sparkly pink pencil pouch with gel pens 1 floral pencil pouch with coloring pencils Red iPhone Medications Wallet with insurance cards, debit card, military license , etc card etc IPhone charger

            My fianc was told his health insurance would cover 3 months in patient help and once he got there they say only 30 days not even a full week after him getting back home he relasped and OD and passed away. This place didnt help him at all. They just wanted to get that insurance money. They didnt make sure the patients were taking the proper medications or amounts as I was informed of the patients bartering their pills for cigarettes and money. I will never forgive these people for their selfishness and lack of help. I wish we wouldve chosen a different facility. I do not recommend this place to you or someone you love struggling with addiction.
