I called this company on dec 23 2022 I needed my truck and personal belongings moved to ************* spoke to ****** she made the process sound so comforting that I went for it. I was told by Friday my truck would be picked up and in *********** from 1-2 weeks. This was not the case. After constantly calling for information on my truck today 01/26/2023 my truck has finally arrived. I would appreciate the $300 for tow truck I paid I was told $200 originally. And the $450 paid to the company back in my account. This is outrageous that *** waited for so long. Once I pick my truck up I can only hope all my personal belongings are not damaged and done. I minus well take all my things to the dump. I lost all of my life in ******* I was evicted and both of my cars were repoded the little bit left in my truck is what I have left of life as I known itBusiness response

Thank you for choosing National Car Transport, ******. I'm sorry to hear about the delay in your transport. When booking your transport order, especially involving a portion that includes a shipping vessel leg, we always give estimated dates. Your shipment was booked during the holidays and the shipping line had an unexpected increase in volume that caused a backlog. As you know from our phone calls and speaking to the shipping agent, I assure you that we were working diligently to make sure your vehicle had priority. As far as the carrier pay cost, of $300. That amount came out of the total price quote. We did not charge you more. We actually charged you $75.00 less than that quoted price, and the quote price was already at a discount. We did all we could to cut costs as much as possible and reduced it from the initial price.
I understand how frustrating it can be to wait for your belongings, and I apologize for the inconvenience. Also very sorry for your personal situation in *******.. Please know that we were proactive to reduce your cost and spoke to the shipping line directly to decrease the fare on their end as well before we received this review, as we were sympathetic to your time based situation. Which is what I was explaining prior. We take our responsibility very seriously and we will do everything in our power to ensure your items arrive safely and at the best time possible. Having said that, these are estimated dates and some factors may extend the transport timeframe.
