    On December 16, 2023 I booked a vacation to Beaches ************** (A subsidiary of Sandals) departing October 26, 2024, and returning October 30, 2024. On March 17, 2024 we had an issue arise that we needed to postpone our trip, so we elected to cancel. Upon speaking with the Beaches rep, I was than informed that the $350 deposit was non-refundable. I asked where this was stated and was at first not given a clear answer. I reviewed all my documents that I had during my initial booking including a chat transcript and I could not find where this was stated. I finally was showed where their terms and conditions were on the Beaches website, and it was hidden in a bunch of paragraphs that didn't even apply. My biggest issue is the lack of clarity with the deposit being non-refundable. It appears Beaches went out of there way NOT to include the cancelation policy clearly in any of their marketing or initial booking correspondence. This appears to be, at best, a deceitful practice. The lack of clarity on there "policy" is disappointing. Another strange thing that further confuses Beaches cancelation polity is most of their booking made on their website offer "free cancelation" if trip is canceled more than 45 days prior to departure. I would have though the same terms applied but was told since this was made through a "Returning Customer Promotion" that cancelation flexibility is not provided. I have attached my backup documents which you can clearly see that the cancelation policy they are trying to enforce was not clearly stated. Appears to be deceitful marketing practices not to include these policies if they are going to try and enforce them.

    A local man made his way onto the resort. He told me he was from St. **** and when I asked him if he was staying there, he said no. This man got extremely drunk over the course of the day. He then proceeded to dance inappropriately by the pool and THEN HE TOUCHED HIMSELF (yes, hands down his pants touching himself). My daughters and I felt soooo violated as this took place right in front of us! This man also started asking young females to pick up his drink for him and he harassed me verbally at one point. Again, staff did nothing to remove this man. In fact, he wandered into Neptunes (a la carte restaurant) at around 8:30 pm, barefoot and still in the same bathing suit, got 2 glasses of wine and then walked to a room that appeared to be blacked out (vacant) to drink his beverages. The very frustrating part of this event is that staff did nothing about this man! They actually aided his effort by slipping him a room key (we watched). I am leaving a lot many details!!Departure day - my AirPods went missing and I alerted the staff from the airport but they could not find them. I insisted they check the video footage and miraculously after an investigation which took 48 hours, I was informed that my AirPods were found on the patio (which is odd considering that not once did I have them on the patio for the duration of our trip). I now have to ship them back from ******* at my expense. Finally, our ride to the airport, arranged by Beaches was extremely scary! Our driver - ***** - did not speak to us once on the drive. He went into ************* and stopped at two different gas stations (made calls at each) before turning back towards the resort to get in the toll route. Once on the toll route, we flew to the airport, reaching our destination in about 40 mins. When we arrived, he dumped our bags on the sidewalk and drove off quickly without even closing the passenger door (it slid shut with the speed in which he took off). Date of stay: March 2024
