1 starWe spent 5 nights at the Sandals Resort in ********************* resort. It was the worst vacation we had ever had. The shower was broken and you couldn't control the hot water. It literally burned my neck and shoulders. We reported it Friday. They fixed it Monday evening. We requested a handicap accessible room and were told we had one on the beach. We were switched to the furthest room from the beach. The shuttle drivers were lazy and rude. Both my wife and I suffered during this trip. I ended up having to go home in a wheelchair due to their negligence with broken kneecap. They keep saying someone is reaching out to me from Sandals, but 11 days later, still nothing. The only thing about this place that was all-inclusive was the money they took from us. Complete trash experienceReview fromJohn P

1 starTerrible customer service. I stayed at a ********************** resort in 2021 At that time, I switched resort and saved $500 and when I called and told him that it was a lot cheaper than when I originally pay, they agreed to put a credit on my account for future stays. Fast-forward they told me my credit has expired, which they never said It would. Then told me to contact the ******************* who is no longer in business and theres nothing they can do for me. I have stayed at sandals four different occasions and always been treated great I dont know what happened over the few years, but Im being treated wrong.Review fromAyesha H

1 starI have an upcoming stay at Sandals ******************, but I am deeply disappointed after learning about the experiences of current and recent guests. Despite Sandals being marketed as a luxury travel brand, the experience at this resort seems overshadowed by the issue of stray dogs roaming the *********** a private group of St. ******* travelers, Ive seen photos and read accounts of these dogs lounging on pool furniture, destroying guests' property, splashing in the pool, and even urinating on personal belongings. Alarmingly, a couple staying at the resort this month (December 2024) was bitten on the ankles.I reached out to Sandals management to discuss these concerns, but it has been over two weeks, and no one has ************ someone who loves dogs and has two of my own, I am not anti-dog. However, these situations have caused me to seriously reconsider whether I will proceed with the group trip we have booked for 10 couples. When I contacted customer service, I was met with dismissive responses. Supervisors informed me that "the dogs were there first," that they have vaccinations, and essentially told me to "deal with it or go to a different resort."No refunds on deposits or travel insurance are being offered, which I would typically understand. However, under these circumstanceswhere Sandals refuses to address such a significant issuewe are left with no other option but to cancel this trip and the one we have planned for 2026. As a loyal Sandals member for almost 20 years, this experience is truly disheartening. This is not the level of service or environment one expects from a brand like Sandals. If you are considering staying at this resort, be aware that stray dogs are a persistent issue, and management appears uninterested in resolving it. I strongly urge Sandals to take action to protect their guests and uphold the high standards their brand promises. Until then, I cannot recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing, worry-free vacation.Review fromEsther R

1 starThis was a frustrating experience at Sandals Beaches Ochi. The Sandals agent misspelled our names on flights, which was incredibly stressful, especially when it led to $1200 in unexpected charges. It's disappointing that the resort didn't offer any assistance. The mismatch between the resort's appearance and what was advertised and the ongoing renovations was a letdown. Unfortunately, the service and food didnt meet our expectations. Long wait times ruin our vacation vibe. Save your money and avoid this place. What a letdown by Sandals, never again.Review fromEmily S

1 starSandals has made it difficult to enjoy our wedding. They transfer you between the reservations, groups, and wedding department trying to punt responsibility to the next person. They have flat out told us the promotions that were going on when we booked never existed. I emailed them screenshots and dates to prove otherwise. Only then did they admit the promotions existed. They are unapologetic, and a waste of a wedding and vacation. Everything is kept a huge secret, and you have to ask them point blank multiple times to answer simple questions. Its always "Thats another department, let me transfer you." IF YOU HAVE TO END THE CALL IN TEARS ITS A SIGN ITS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO STAY. Record all interactions with them, save all emails, and screenshot the promotions and prices because they will change and Sandals will play dumb. Its less of a headache just to book a beach house, and less expensive.Review fromLindsey J

1 starI was disappointed to find that the room did not match the description or images presented on your website. The curtains looked worn and tattered, lacking a functional pull string. Additionally, there were broken tiles beside the bed and in the bathroom, which not only detracted from the aesthetics but also posed a safety concern. The shower head was in disrepair, forcing me to rinse my hair with a water from the sink daily. The dresser drawer in the kids' bedroom was falling out. The furniture throughout the room was damaged and chipped, with nails protruding from the bathroom vanity, creating a potential hazard. I observed dirty dishes and wet towels, overflowing trash cans, and even roaches in the hallway which stayed there for 3 DAYS! Additionally there were no beach towels available, and the outdoor furniture near the ***************** was ***** and had sharp metal buttons.Dining was another significant issue during our stay. Our experience at Neptunes lasted 3 hrs with minimal attention from the server. I never managed to get a decent cup of coffee without difficulty, and the buffet, which we resorted to for self-service, had long waits for basic items . One particularly experience occurred at the *** restaurant, where there was no netting to keep the pigeons away. Unfortunately, we were defecated on by pigeons three times while dining. We often dined at the buffet because it allowed us to serve ourselves. We found ourselves waiting over 30 mins just to receive water. We started bringing our own beverages to dinner. Additionally, we checked in at the ****************** at 7:30 and didnt leave until almost 10.The spa was also disappointing. It felt outdated, with lockers that did not lock and missing light bulbs throughout the facility. After tipping the ****** he never returned to the lobby. we were almost left. Despite spending $12,000 we felt we received the same treatment as guests who paid significantly less.Review fromErika O

1 starOur recent stay at Sandals Dunns River was an absolute nightmare. Despite being returning guests who had a wonderful time in ******** last year, this trip was a disaster from start to finish. The food across all restaurants was barely edible, and we experienced food poisoning multiple times. The bars had outrageously long wait times, with only 1-2 servers at both pools. There was virtually no entertainment during the day, and the rooms were shockingly bare. The ****** service was a joke, especially during Hurricane *****. We paid for ****** service that we did not receive for two days. Worse, on our last day, our bags were mistakenly sent to *******************, causing a chaotic and stressful delay. Despite explaining that we were leaving from ****************, we had to wait hours for our bags to be returned, almost missing our flight. No apologies or compensation were offered for these severe inconveniences. This was one of the worst vacations I've ever had. We are demanding a 30% refund ($3387) to account for the days without ****** service and the overall horrendous experience. We are deeply embarrassed to have invited friends to join us on this trip. We will never return to Sandals, and we urge others to reconsider booking here.Review fromNicole F

1 starHORRIBLE Experience at Sandals ***********, Exuma. My husband and I booked a trip for 7 nights to *********** 7/2-7/9/24 with the ****** experience. When we arrived at the resort we found out they had NO Air Conditioning throughout the resort including all restaurants, rooms, spa, etc. NO ** anywhere. Our room got as hot as 89 degrees in the day and only cooled to 86 at night. The entire trip was UNBEARABLE and we spent $13,000 on the trip and Sandals offered NO REFUND and the managers on the property said sorry but could not offer any compensation. We paid flights change fees to change our flights to leave 4 days early. We were advised to email customer support and I did and still have NOT heard back from anyone from customer support. VERY DISAPPOINTED and will never go back to Sandals or refer any more friends to Sandals. Worst trip we have ever taken. As well as the ** being out, the food was horrible because of the hot conditions in every restaurant and you did not want to eat in your room because of the temperature. To add to this staff did not communicate any updates on ** repair or provide the "world class service" that Sandals claims to offer.Review fromKevin G

1 starBooked Sandals ************* for out 40th anniversary 6/10-6/15. Was told we could get a 7th floor room.Upon arrival we were pushed to the back and the customers with a ****** where taken to their room first. We where asked about the massage packages and we told them we wanted more information and would book once we were in the room. The staff went to the next party and they said the exact same thing and the staff told them about the massages and gave them a card to call her on to make the reservations. When we got to the room it was on the 5th floor. When I asked the staff about the 7th floor I was told this is our room and he left.We proceeded to make reservations for the restaurants for our stay knowing it was too late for the day we arrived. Each restaurant only had reservations at 9 PM the rest of the stay. Called the concierge and was told that the reservations we made by guest arriving earlier. We complained and was told they would see what they could do. We proceeded to go to *****'s and while waiting to get seated we talked to another couple and they said that all of the reservations for the other restaurants where for the butlers. But if you show up they will seat you. *****'s was great. We did just show up at 2 other reservation restaurants and sure enough got seated. Very disappointed because the it was true. The tables where mostly empty for the butlers to bring in their guest.Security inside the premises was none existence. All entries were gated or had posted security guards but that was to keep people from coming in to eat and drink. Not to protect their customers. My wife was attacked by a drunk guy that danced in a fountain for 15 minutes. I had to intervene to get the guy to leave. Security showed up 5 minutes later but it was over. This ruined our anniversary day. My wife didn't want to go out so we ate room service the last night.I would not go to another Sandals for the price. If you get a ****** suite the price was above our budget.Review fromMark H

1 starRes# ******** 5/22/24 thru 5/27/24. Our 32nd wed. anv. ** wanted to try an upscale all Inclusive resort (Nassau Royal Bahamian). Selection made based off advertisements. ** were excited and looked forward to the exp. Trip was well planned in adv. ** upgraded to include the ****** service to ensure we would have the "Best Experience" possible. The hotel overall & setting is "truly amazing". To/from the airport including the chauffeurs were "Top Notch". Our room was "Nice", W/"Excellent View"! The grounds were nice ****ll kept. However not true for the hospitality, food, service etc. Dining exp. (lacking). Unable to dine at all the places we had selected (lack of staff). Long wait times W/poor food quality. ** expected more due to $$$$. Same quality as "Cruise line" food, which is expected when cruising. The candlelight dinner (additional exp) was awesome! Service for that dinner including the setting etc. was amazing! Butlers, we had (3) assigned to us. Note: Rotating in/out. (1) ****** was "Exceptional", "Over the **** **** appreciated him **** tipped him in the same exceptional manor. The other (2) constantly remind them of requests. Requests were simple not demanding. Never req. for in room dinning or things of that nature. When the (1) ****** was not available we had to take care of things ourselves, including towel replacement. Our room was clean, & attended too (lacked) towel replacement. Cleanliness of the hotel was fair, not spotless, noticed: stains, unclean elevators, doors & excessive amount of unclean dishes that *** explain for the very large cockroach we exp while dining one eve. Expectations to be more due to cost. 10K for 5 days, 2k per day not to receive our preferred beverages that consisted of (3) items. Sandals of representing itself as an elite "World Class" experience? Unsure if we would select Sandals for our next All-Inclusive. Maybe we just selected the wrong **************************** a reflection of our poor selection & foolish spending?
