1 starMany fake profiles to encourage you to purchase an overpriced plan from them . Within three years I have not contacted in person with a single real person from this platform. Also, its too expensive, one week purchase will turn into monthly subscription after plan ends by default. 1 starRUN FROM THIS SITE!!!This company is a joke! I was charged three times in one month, and when I reached out to them, they only paid me a portion of those charges.If I could give them fewer stars, I absolutely would!I was charged 1/22/25 ***** for full access then charged again on 2/05/25 $***** charged again the same day for 02/05/25 $29.99 and charged again on 02/10/25 $29.99 For a total of $83.96 Even the leads seemed false as I would get an inquiry, and then there would be no response when I responded. This happened 90% of the time. It wasn't until I went on to cancel because it was fruitless that I noticed the thievery. I then contacted the company, and they agreed to reimburse me for only $29.00.Sadly, the internet allows companies to operate with so little integrity that it puts tremendous labor on the consumer to address erroneous charges. Waste of **************** you can create a free room listing - yay!2) you have to pay to see any messages, far more than the competitors for less duration 4) they turn your payment into auto-renew without your permission 5) I received ZERO leads from my area for 3 weeks with a free listing 6) I had to pay to see one bogus lead 1.5 hours away including a ferry ride 7) Finally I received not a lead but a listing 5 hours away in... Not sure about website doesn't look legit. Not sure if this website is licensed properly. How can I know also what to look for the next time if I'm renting from a person who has a civic judgement against them kind of sketchy website. 1 starOmg! Everything in these reviews is so true! I'm so upset with this company. They don't want to refund me the FULL monthly subscription because I canceled one day late. In the meantime, they make it so hard to figure out how to cancel and they don't provide a phone number. Their 24-7 help is not 24-7, there is a long wait and no one is REALLY THERE TO HELP you. 1 starThis company is absolutely unbelievable. I have been with them for many, many years. I paid a lot of money to them and I've rented to a number of roommates off their sight. I've still friends with a number of those roommates. I've had three people flag me for inappropriate comments or what roomster tech team says is security issues on my account and they deactivate my account. This time they will not reinstate my account and they refunded me my money, but they will not tell you what the person said, just that you got flagged. It is so biased against the homeowner who's worked long and hard has a home, rents out rooms, but they go for the snowflake people that just don't like something and they flagged some that just people there truly mean people. Mean girls are out there. Mean boys are out there and they. flag an account for no reason. And Rooster will not tell you what the reason is they just deactivate your account. It's the worst business model I have ever seen and it's so totally unfair to the longtime customer that pays the money. It's so biased in favor of people that have the opportunity to push a button and flag someone. Absolutely the worst the worst business model out there. I know there are. terrible company to do business with your guilt. until you prove your innocence but you can't prove your innocence because you don't know what you did.Review fromMishka T

1 starI have my account for almost a year and have my weekly subscription set up through Apple which is cheaper. Each time my subscription renews there is always a problem to provide me access to my account although each customer representative is familiar with my account due to the fact that I have to request access each week to my account and I always provide my Apple receipt as proof of payment so I dont understand whats the problem. Whats a business if you dont know your regular customers to provide exceptional service and then trying to advise me to cancel my subscription so I can pay more on their platform which isnt right. 1 starThis is the worse site to find anything, much less a roommate. STAY AWAY FROM IT!!!! Phony, flaky, unreliable, impostors, etc, etc, etc,.........They send several fake messages to you so you buy a membership to keep getting the same. The messages are so dumb, stupid, juvenile that will make you angry, so why border it.Furthermore, in order to log in to your account, they make you put your phone number and log in with a code. AND then they make you ok a message to not give your number to anyone...... THESE scammers thinks they are smarter than everyone but exploiting a well needed service for the community... Definitely a scam. They took a week I paid for and turned it into an autopay month at $30. When I saw the charge I emailed in and they unprofessionally responded saying they couldn't refund even though it was 20 minutes after the charge processed. Used my name in the email from my signature, spoke really oddly to me in all. I could tell something was off so here I am. Not surprised theres 1 star.Roomster Corp

just paid for Roomster. Ive been getting hundreds of messages before hand so I figured Id pay and check them out to see if there were any good roommates. Less than two minutes after paying the $30 fee I responded to one of the first people I saw that already messaged me. Hey, how are you? are you still looking for a roommate my account was IMMEDIATELY SUSPENDED. did i just get robbed $30?Roomster Corp
