      Don't waste your money on this like I did. Its a total ripoff and scam. All of the listings are fake and phony. Then you have the scammers who don;t live there wanting you to wire them money without seeing the room first. I should have researched all the bad reviews first. There should be a class action lawsuit against them and people thrown in jail for fraud. All they do is get rich from stealing money

      I am disappointmented with customer service. I signed up for the 7 day subscription, $12. The cancel subscription button is not easily located. I canceled my subscription on day 8 but was charged an additional $30 for a full month service. You can cancel anytime, but what is not clear is that you will still be charged for a full month service. I contacted customer service and told them that I had found a room using their application and no longer needed the subscription. I asked could they prorata and was told no. I don't understand why they would think I still need the service once I have found a place to live. I was told that I could have purchased the 7 day and canceled on the same day and still been able to use the service for the 7 days. It's bad enough that they trick into using their service. You are able to login, search, and even post, but you have to purchase a subscription to see responses. Money wasted. I will chalk this up as an experience that I wont ever let happen again. I will never use their application again. Services are not clearly stated.

      Hi ****, The reason you were removed originally from Roomster was that you triggered our "suspicious user" system. The system is based on activity on the platform that makes our system believe, rightly or wrongly, that you may be a scammer. Some data points made our system believe that you were not a legitimate user. I activated your account and extended your subscription for 2 more weeks for the trouble this may caused.

      eerything was ok and all of a suden my phone was removed and i can't access customer my account has been flagged i can't use any other ******** account because i don't have one. I changed my profile mpicture and my current name is *********** do i have to change my name as well. i think this is a flagrant flag on me. I even paid for your monthly service and was still denied can you please tell me how i can unblock my account.

      I joined roomster.com about 2 weeks the first week went smooth everything was going good I was able to log in with ease no problems took me too search put in what city and state I needed brought up roommates I was able to send messages and receive the second week everything started to go SOUTH and yes I realize that the internet is slow sometimes and anomalies happen also but I have secure network with my Wi-Fi it is strong and loads fast here is an example I would Bo on surfing for roommates and all of sudden it froze on and I clicked again it took me back to the sign page to sign in I was already signed in so I went along with it then when I signed in again an error code come up too many sign in attempts I only signed in once I get roommates writing to Me i I have never contacted and in there bio they age of roommate preference 18 to 31 years of age Im 71 years young back to the signing in its almost like after you have been they somehow time you out!!!!! Go figure thanks ****

      they took off their 7 day trial because of their new update . i was going to buy the 7 day cuz i had like 15 messages in my inbox but when i went to purchase they took it off . they are very untrustworthy and fail the ********* of america . they are a legit scam

      In order to make an account and view/message listings I had to send photo ID and pay a $15 fee to have it processed. Admittedly, I didn't think much of this as I figured it was a way to deter scammers and bots. It was only a day later when I found out that in order to simply view messages you had to pay a very pricey subscription ($12 for 7 days, $30 for 30 days, $50 for 60 days). Seeing that my transaction was still pending on my credit card, I contacted their support to get a refund. They lied and said that the transaction had been completed. So I contacted my credit card provider and sure enough, the transaction was never completed and if I wanted to get a refund, I needed to contact the merchant. I did so and right as they told me that the refund has been placed and expected to be seen in a few days, they deleted my account (as I had asked, admittedly). Also worth noting that they have no support number outside of **********, the number I found based in NY was a looping recording of someone saying to contact them through their website. These people are scam artists and should NEVER be trusted.

      I attempted to delete my account weeks before my next billing date, but was charged anyway. After reaching out to customer service, I was told that deleting your account does NOT cancel your paid subscription, which is a separate step, and that "they were very clear" I'd be charged if I did not cancel. What's not clear at all is how a company can continue to charge for a service that you deleted and cannot access. Unfortunately, customer service stopped answering me before I could ask for help from a supervisor. I followed up twice over the course of an hour - both messages were marked 'seen', but the team did not reply to either of them.

      It's bad enough that the "free" version of the site's unusable without a way to see responses, and numerous stories in reviews warned me not to bother with the paid services, but they've apparently taken to ********** to create fake ads for rooms that don't exist, just to try getting you to pay them to use the site.I've already lost count how many replies to posts seemingly thoughtfully made by someone led to stilted texts responses with links to the site.
