      My wife mistakenly picked up the wrong bag after a flight from Orlando to Richmond. After 5 hours of dealing with non Spirit employees and being given multiple phone numbers that were either in a loop in voice mail or not even the same company. We began to get blown off and told there was nothing and no one the foreign call centers could do, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE after 5 hours!!!!!!

      Ridiculous airline and app. After purchasing bag fees they still constantly ask if you want to buy a bag. I purchased browsing for $10 and it turned out to be a "security shortcut"?? What even is that -- I boarded with everyone else with Group 4 which was on my boarding pass. Just be careful as you will never get a refund for a purchase like this. And it all adds up. No help as their advice does not work and I could not even obtain a receipt for what they told me I had paid for. BUYER BEWARE!

      Complaint:I am filing a complaint against Spirit Airlines regarding a denied boarding incident that occurred at ******************, despite the fact that I had all valid travel documents. Spirit staff were unable to provide a specific reason for denying my boarding, and I was forced to purchase a last-minute ticket from another airline at a cost of $530.After repeated attempts to contact Spirit Airlines, I received two contradictory refund amounts in two separate emailsone stating $107.51 and the other $1057.51with no clarification provided. I was also not offered rebooking or assistance at the time of the incident, as Spirits own policy suggests should have been ******* a result of the denied boarding, I also missed a second connecting flight (confirmation number GQ2YPX) from ******* to *******, causing additional financial and logistical stress. Despite multiple follow-up emails, I received no explanation for the initial denial of boarding and no compensation for my out-of-pocket expenses.I am requesting:A full explanation from Spirit regarding why I was denied boarding despite having valid documents;Reimbursement for the $530 paid for the last-minute alternative flight;Compensation for the missed connection and the lack of assistance from Spirit staff at the airport.I have included all supporting documents, including emails, receipts, and travel confirmations. I hope the BBB can assist in resolving this matter, as Spirit has not responded appropriately to my direct requests.Desired Resolution: Full reimbursement of the $530 plus a response from Spirit acknowledging and explaining their error.

      we have purchased a ticket with spirit airlines , and we have paid the insurance .on the ticket in order to cancel the ticket in case we couldn't fly 4 days before the fly , we log in in the computer and cancel the ticket . we never received a confirmation on the cancelation . we call spirit airlines and have contacted an area manager , which was extremely rude , he denied the cancelation ( of course so the could rep off more customers ) bottom line he said the that we just lost all the money because he didn't have any prove in the system , don't fly with these airline the will rip you off ,rude and vulgar management will never ever again fly with spirit airlines

      Worst Airline & Worst Customer Support : This airline has the worst customer service. If you make any changes to your reservation, such as removing baggage, they only offer airline creditno refund back to card. Everything is priced higher than the actual flight cost. When I booked my flight, the baggage fee was charged as part of the same transaction.I contacted customer service to request either a separate charge for baggage or a refund to my credit card. Their response, including from a manager, was that they operate differently from other airlines and only provide airline creditnever refunds. Additionally, if you remove and re-add luggage, they charge an extra $10. The support team was extremely rude throughout the process.

      Gate agent in Las Vegas had bad attitude so I filmed her. When she realized I was filming she immediately told me and the rest in my party that we were not flying that day. A total unacceptable threat just because she was having a bad day. FAA should be looking into. Spirit hasn’t responded to formal complaint. Been 8 weeks now.

      If I could give this airline negative stars, I **** sure would. We were running late to our flight which I understand, we shouldve have came earlier but we got there at 5:15am(flight was supposed to depart at 5:20am). It left at 5:10am 16 people missed their flight. I worked at *** for two years, when we are missing a passenger we would call them by cell phones, or do a final boarding call throughout the airport, spirit does absolutely nothing! We would always give passengers a ***** period of 5-10min its sad how crappy this airline is.

      ZERO!! Spirit is TRASH!! From the pilots down the Airport employees TRASH!! Sitting at the Gate never notified of the gate change. Several employees within the airport NEVER informed of the gate change none literally shook her head she has no idea of what is going on and one that was so in a rush to go home misunderstood my question causing me to miss my connecting flight home. Sitting next to a couple that I informed to check for changes as I was stuck because of the stupid folks in the airport no doing their job. The couple found a change had been made to their flight and they asked why there was no announcement and the (I have no words for that employee) told them they didnt fee the need to make any announcement of the change. BS!!!! I was then left in the airport for 24hrs for a new flight and they tell me they cannot reimburse me for their ignorance and lack of professionalism. Where is the *** the ****?!?!! **** this airline down and FIRE EVERYBODY. ***** SSA AIRLINE JUST TRASH!!!

      THIS AIRLINE IS A JOKE WITH 4400+ COMPLAINTS AND SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED, EMPLOYEES ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL DON'T KNOW ANYTHING WHEN YOU ASK A QUESTION ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE TRYING TO GO TO LUNCH , SHIFT IS ABOUT TO END OR AS THE EMPLOYEE SD SHE WAS DOING SOMETHING AT THE MOMENT AND COULDN'T HELP! THEN TO FILE A COMPLAINT YOU HAVE TO CHAT ON THEIR WEBSITE NO ONE TOLD MY MOM HER GATE HAD CHANGED SO SHE HAD TO SIT IN THE AIRPORT FOR 24 HOURS FOR ANOTHER FLIGHT WASN'T OFFERED A MEAL, DRINK ,ROOM,OR REFUND NOT EVEN A PARTIAL NO ONE CARES UNTIL ITS THEM OR SM1 THEY CARE ABOUT NO EMPATHY HOPEFULLY PPL START TAKING THEIR JOBS MORE SERIOUSLY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WORK KEEP YA A** AT HOME BC ITS STARTS WITH YOU WHEN PPL CHECK IN I DON'T EVEN WANT TO GIVE THEM 1 ? BUT THIS WILL BE FOR THE PILOT AND FLIGHT ATTENDANTS

      In June of 2024 my wife and I flew to ******. I chose to sit at the emergency exit for the leg room but because the attendant spotted my wife with a cane he felt she would not be able to assist in an emergency needless to say she had to give up her seat and I too gave up mine so we'd be seated together. I was told I'd be reimbursed the difference but that never happened. So I paid for seats for someone else to sit in. May be cheap initially but it starts adding up with extras.
