******************* came out as an asphalt company and met with myself and my director of operations. We explained what we were looking for (which was cutting out sections of old cracked asphalt and putting new in) we explained we wanted it to go beyond where the cut was so this new asphalt wouldn't come up. He agreed and said he was giving up a guarantee. He then shows up around 1 pm in the afternoon and starts work with 2 guys that came with his company which now he tells me he just bought, and he is really not an asphalt man. this is new. An asphalt truck shows up that traveled from plant city to lake placid so that asphalt sat in the truck for hours then it sat on the ground for hours this caused the asphalt to cool. This job was to take 2 days and it turned out to be 6 days, leaving a horrible mess, asphalt is now coming up and he refuses to honor his guarantee. he told me he drove throw and looked at 2 spots i sent him pictures of and says he see nothing wrong. We can clearly see this is coming up. He never tried to stop and speak with me. or resolve this issue. We needed to truck of asphalt both piles were allowed to cool before using and we kept telling him it's too cold to use. His guys also did a side job with our asphalt and charged the resident $300.00. which is now coming up and they have complained. This was the most unorganized unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. I had to call them daily to find out where they were and why this job was not being completed. **** fired the two guys on Friday and had to come on Saturday to finish the job and cleanup.

The job Paradise Village (*****, and Cal) I was very informative to them both that the patchwork they wanted in certain areas were just temporary and the whole park needed to be asphalted in order to ensure stability rather than quick fixes. They both declined doing the entire park and just decided to go with the patchwork. I received an email from ***** stating she would like me to come out and take a look at the areas she stated were cracking, I did so that afternoon and the next morning. I didn't see any visible areas that looked cracked other than your everyday wear from individuals driving over the road. I emailed ***** back informing her of the current situation. And she was not please, I also did have to fire the two employees due to other circumstances of lack of responsibility and finding out that they were using materials(Asphalt) from the job for residents who asked them to form a speed bump in front of their lot. The Asphalt was at a temp. of 306 degrees when tested. If it would have been any lower than 230 degrees I would have had to sent it back to the pile. I also came back to finish the job myself due to I never like to leave a bad taste in clients mouth, as well as gave Paradise Village a discount for the inconvenience of the other employees. From the beginning ***** gave me nothing but issues and would complain about everything. Even *** said she was a little overbearing and needed to calm down a little bit when she was calling him about every little question. She never sent us a complaint until approx. 5 days until the warranty was going to expire. I have no problem fixing or making a job right but I will not be threaten into doing something I have informed the client was a temporary fix. And they decided to go with it rather than a long term decision. I enjoyed the job very much and every job has kinks in it but I honored the job and did what ***** and *** wanted. They were pleased with the outcome and didnt seem to express any concerns when I asked them to walk they areas and inform me of any areas you didnt feel were adequate. They even asked me for other information to do the other Asphalt jobs in the other sister parks.
