Naples Nissan actively worked with ************ police department's officer ********************* to ***** act me into a horrible mental health facility, **********************************, which in my opinion should be banned from ever doing business again! And I purchased a brand new car from Nissan and when it's back up camera was faulty and Naples Nissan was UNable to fix the problem and sent me home with a broken camera that they insured me was fixed and I pointed it out to the service manager that he should have opps checked my car before I left the building, he became incensed and fired me from their dealership. (***********************) I was forced to go to ***************************************************. (don't know his name, the service manager but I will find it when I review *********) They SAID my car was fixed but they put a gash and my car seat and told me that I had no proof that they did it but the Service manager told me I could get it fixed at his price if I called his guy which he gave me the number of. I guess dealerships stick together. The moral of the story, don't trust any car dealerships especially Nissan!!!If you buy a new car and they have your money good luck getting anything after that. And Nissan consumer affairs does not care what their dealerships do to anyone. I've called three times and they act like they're gonna do something about it but in the end they tell you the dealership can do whatever they want to.Nissan stinks!! DON'T BUY NISSAN. I'VE LEARNED MY ******* And no lawyer will help you either. No one is going to *** a police department. You're out of luck and stuck with the lemon!!

Below I have copied my email that I shared with ******* *************************** on 9/5/23. I am more than happy to share the full email and text messages referenced in the email below, between ******************* and our staff members. The actions taken by ******* County ************* after they were provided the information below, was not discussed with any members of our staff. The accusation that "Naples Nissan actively worked with ************ police department's officer *************************** is just that an accusation, an unfounded one at that. Naples Nissan staff members were concerned for the safety of one of our customers, we took action to ensure that we as a staff we were not overlooking a person in distress.

******************* purchased a brand new vehicle from our sales associate ************** on 7/6/23, by July 10th **** was requesting that Naples Nissan cancel the extended warranties that she had purchased with her vehicle.
We accommodated that request, we have email correspondence on this between our employee ******** and the customer ****. Within this correspondence **** shared an email with 2 website links for ********************** and ************************************** neither website carry any semblance of sanity or sense.

**** has since visited our service ***** on 4 different occasions for a variety of issues. She has interacted with 3 different members of our service department. The most being our Fixed Operations Director *****************************. While attempting to diagnose the issue with ***** vehicle *** was texting ****. Within those text messages that I shared screen shots of earlier **** mentions being trauma bonded and states she wants to ******* **** **** ** ** **** her mean husband who yells at her.

It was after reading those messages in particular that I and other staff members became concerned for Loris safety and well being. We were all very conflicted on the right plan of action.

Then on 9/2/23 **** submitted what we call a lead to our sales department. Within her text on the lead, **** again makes comments that make is seem as though she is either in an unsafe environment, or she is experiencing some kind of mental illness. * **** ** *** ******** is one comment in particular that raised some red flags from this most recent communication.

On 9/5/23 I spoke with our HR manager asking for a recommendation on the best way to address our concerns. I then called the *************************** Center and gave them a brief synopsis of the situation and they referred me to the ******* ************************

When a customer trades their vehicle in the money from their extended service contracts and ************* are returned to the original lender. From there, if there is a balance owed, it is returned to the customer. The policies you chose to have cancelled have been processed and the money is on it's way to ******. Naples Nissan would not be the party responsible for refunding that to you, We are happy to assist in any way that we can.  Please let us know how we can help in the future.

False advertisement, truly scum of the earth. The original MSRP deal is a scam. Even after I left they called me back in to "resolve the issue ". They offered me an even worse deal and insulted my intelligence during the offer. The company strives off of sucking the dollar out of consumers pockets. If you want to be lied to and underminded Naples Nissan will gladly steal your money through false advertising and hiking up all pricing. Fort Myers Nissan would never treat their customers the why I was treated at Naples Nissan. Everyone please go to Fort Myers Nissan instead.

My grandparents went in looking for a new vehicle to have for daily use. They settled on a Rogue SL. Due to short inventory, they weren’t able to get a new vehicle, but found a 2021 certified used one. Unfortunately, no one was able to go with them and a vehicle which was originally listed at $37,700 somehow cost $45,000 before taxes, title, and dealer fee(normal costs) but not before their “fees” and “mandatory surcharge” for lack of inventory. One of the managers, Mario, got very confrontational several days later when I questioned him about these “fees and surcharges”. He proceeded to say “everyone’s doing it, I’m only $5000 over, others are $15,000.” When in fact, no one in the area is over and selling vehicles at honest, fair market value. Avoid this place and these people who are overcharging and taking advantage of people who are unaware of the hidden fees.

I bought a pretty decent used Rogue from here (or so I thought) a little over a year ago. When I purchased the car they told me that they had run inspections, were doing routine maintenance work, but the car was in great condition with no accidents. . As I drove the car, it started making this grinding noise, and when I brought it in for it's first oil change under my ownership they told me there was nothing wrong and just did the oil change. Fast forward to a couple weeks ago, I bring it in for yet another oil change, and tell them about the issues I am STILL having with my vehicle. The service technician at the time tells me that there is a leaking wheel bearing that they had had to fix right before I bought the car. That right there was a huge red flag to me. I was never informed of this issue up until that point and apparently the issue was not FIXED properly the first time. He tells me I don't need it replaced now, but I can come back and get it done soon. I come back in yesterday to have them do it, still fuming at the fact that they want me to pay for something that should have already been fixed. What was estimated to be a 1K job, now has turned into a 4k job for an issue that they did not properly fix the first time. I told them MONTHS ago the car was grinding. And now because of this issue my axel, and control arms are apparently out because I "drove on it so long". The woman at the desk when I asked her about all of this just said "Oh, that's just normally wear and tear for a car that has 90K miles on it". I just bought this car from them LAST YEAR. Supposedly in great condition, and now am being told this is "wear and tear". I am livid with how this dealership has treated me. Then they want to try to sell me a car, and I tell them the only way they are gonna do that is if they will keep my payments at or around the same price. They said they could probably make that happen, and the proceeded to try to get me into a car for over DOUBLE my current payments

First and foremost, don't EVER go to this dealership. My wife and I were looking to get out of our current lease and into a sedan to lower our monthly payments. We stopped in Monday, were shown a Nissan Kick. We weren't interested in that vehicle, but they said with our objective, this would make the most sense. Without even running our credit, someone from the finance department came over and said that with $10,000 down, we can get into the Kick but our payments would be the same. This was obviously not an option and we decided to leave. Within hours, I was contacted via text from the "internet sales" manager, Thomas. I was completely transparent with him stating that we were a payment behind and what our ultimate goal was. We spoke on the phone as well as via text. He mentioned that he spoke with his director and that they did have options available. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and stopped in today to see what they had to offer. We looked at a NIssan Sentra, which was nice and decided we were interested. He "pulled the numbers" and said with no money down, he could get our payments down about $100.00-$200.00 a month. we were okay with that. They ran my wife's credit, not remembering that I am on the loan as well (as I had mentioned previously). They said that because we are behind on our payment, there is nothing they can do. Again, this was told to him before we even came in. He mentioned that no dealership would take the loan because of that. Funny thing is, I called my other dealership when I got home and explained the entire financial situation and was told that Naples was incorrect. The issue is that because of the negative equity, they didn't want to take their commission out of their pockets or the dealership's pockets to compensate for the difference. I have a couple very close friends that are also sales managers at car dealerships, so I was not going in "blind". Since they didn't want to do the loan, my wife simply asked to have them shred our credit app, so that her SSN is not compromised. She was flat out told NO, and that once she signed the application, her SSN became their property. WHO TALKS TO CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS? They were adamant about not willing to work with keeping our SSN information private. This "manager" that refused to assist us was rude. My wife asked to speak to someone above him. HE said he runs the dealership. Funny thing is, that as we were waiting to get our key back (was left in the car, rather than handing back to us), another rep came over saying HE was in charge. I said "that's funny, because Daniel D. ( I think that's his name) said HE was in charge". Again explained that we just wanted our personal information removed. This new manager was beyond rude. The entire time during the discussion, his 8 sales reps stood and laughed at the entire ordeal. There was one gentleman that came near our conversation, and my wife and I were fine with him being there as he could see it was not going well. The manager degraded my wife when asked about getting our information back, and he said "walk this way, or are you stupid" (in a demeaning tone. She said "did you just say I'm stupid?". His response was, "No, I said you were unhelpable (FYI - not in the English dictionary). We were leaving the building and this nice gentleman was following as well (which we appreciated), but as soon as we got outside, this manager told him to go back inside. Again with all the sales reps looking like toddlers at the window laughing at the situation. I don't know if this manager is not used to a college educated woman not cowering down, and willing to speak her mind, but he was obviously not prepared. I asked if there is a reason all his reps are sitting and watching this rather than working, He said that they are his employees and to not worry about it. He then proceeded to tell us that our business is not welcome there, we are not allowed to shop there and to get off the property as we are now trespassing. Did my wife cuss? She certainly did once we were out of the building. As we were getting into our vehicle, this manager still started walking towards our vehicle, instigating the situation. One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered in 50 years. Is there a resolution? There is nothing that Naples Nissan can say or do to repair the most disgusting experience we have ever had. I will make sure to visit all dealerships within a 5 mile radius and share our experience with employees as well as customers. Terry T., the owner of Naples Nissan will be made aware of this situation. Any response from Naples Nissan will be false, and not taken seriously.

      Naples Nissan Response

      10/08/2021

      ****,

We invited you back into the dealership in an attempt to help solve your vehicle dilemma. After pulling your wife's credit and discovering the delinquency we were unable to assist in facilitating a vehicle purchase. Without viewing a credit report we cannot make a determination of financing eligibility. Due to the fact that her credit score was 589, she was over 30 days late on the current auto loan, and has a previous bankruptcy there is no financial intuition that we use willing to offer you vehicle financing. We are required to keep your signed credit report on file for a minimum of two years, so shredding because you could not obtain financing and wanted us to, is not an option. At the point we disclosed the credit information and the inability to find you financing your wife became very loud, accused our management of being racists, and began cursing on the showroom floor near other clients with children that could hear. She explicitly stated that our management team were "racist pieces of ****** multiple times as we asked you both to leave due to the behavior you were displaying in our showroom. All the way to the door you were making a scene that disrupted normal business and was full of profane language. Due to the actions taken while you were at our location, it is appreciated if you no longer attempt to do business at Naples Nissan.

      Customer Response

      10/08/2021

I will address your response line by line. And just to be clear, your response is showing that Naples Nissan was not wrong in ANYTHING that transpired. But to put us in the most horrible light.
First, you did not "invite" us . I was contacted within 4 hours of leaving on Monday that based on their re-evaluation, there were more options.
Secondly, and I have text communications to confirm from Thomas, that I said we were behind on our payment and what our objective was. And to be clear, the credit score you have shared, is incorrect. By putting this information out there you are attempting to slander us and make us look like bad people. From the beginning, we were upfront from the start that we are BOTH on the financing

To minimize your involvement in the situation, by putting out there that we are past due, putting an inaccurate credit score, and mentioning bankruptcy, is appalling. Again, where is acknowledgment that how you handled the situation was wrong? I don't want to get into semantics as it is not worth it. But again, let me know where Naples Nissan was 100% right in their account?

I will follow up by saying there was only ONE customer in the showroom the entire time. No children. My wife was not making a scene. She had asked a simple question, and the response he provided was that he was the person who ran the whole place. When she asked to speak to the person above him, your representative then stood up and put his hands in my wife's face. At that point he also raised his voice to her. Yes, she did raise her voice in response. before even leaving the table, when she was responding, she was told "just Stop", by Darryl D.. He then proceeded to get up again and attempted to put his hands on my wife. She then again asked for a manager or the owner's information. Darryl D., then got up and said really condescendingly that he would get that info and started to walk away, laughing and talking about us to other employees as he walked towards the back office. Again my wife asked for contact info for higher up people in charge as she was walking towards the front door and passing by the other person sitting at the desk right up front. She then asked for her key to her car and Thomas the person we were dealing with said he threw it in my car as we all were getting heated at the back table. She asked for it to be handed to her as he had it handed to him. Thomas just laughed at us and started to joke around with another sales rep that was supposed to be working with the ONE and ONLY other customer in the building at the time. When we were by the front door, Darryl came out with a copy of a copy of her signed credit app. And said it was the original. She then asked for the contact info for the person above him. He said he was not supposed to get that. She stated that this is what he told her he was doing. He then said "walk this way" and gestured for her to walk this way and said to her" what? don't you know how to walk, are you stupid or something?" She then asked him if he just called her stupid and that's when this guy jumped in. I don't have his name, didn't identify himself, just said " I run the dealership". She asked him if he just heard his employee call me stupid he said he did not say that he said you were un helpable. She then tried explain things to him while all the employees stood around and laughed and joked about what was going on. This is when my wife asked to step outsides to defuse the situation and try to talk one on one with this " Manager" As soon as we were all outside he proceeded to get verbally abusive and on 2 different occasions swore at my wife and kept talking over her and then said we were trespassing and to leave and never come back again. Then said when she signed that credit application, her SSN # became the property of the dealership and they could do what ever they wanted with it. Mind you, we didn't sign anything until 10/6 to run our credit, but surprisingly, there is an inquiry from Monday 10/4 from them as well, as a hard inquiry. I called today and they said they only pulled it once at 6:49 pm (not possible as we were home before 4pm that day).We were walking to our car and yes she at that point did curse at him a few times as he kept walking towards our car and her and yelling at her. She felt very threatened by him.
FYI - I was present the entire time. She did not cuss one time on the show room floor. We were NEVER asked to leave the store while inside. She was not yelling from one end of the store to the exit. This is a false and very inaccurate statement Did she get loud? Probably, because she was asking something simple. It was the reactions of your staff that elevated it. Your staff lied on numerous occasions both days when we were there. The first day was told could help us and at the time with what we thought that they did not run our credit as we did NOT sign anything giving permission that they could only help us if we put 10,000 dollars down

      Customer Response

      10/08/2021

part 2: and the payments would be the same as we have now. My wife even asked if they ran it and the guy in the suspenders said that they did not run anything as we did not sign anything. We have since discovered that they DID in fact run her credit and did a hard inquiry (on our report for 3 years) which has dropped her credit score quite a bit. When trying to resolve this today I was hung up on on 2 different occasions. This was after I offered to send a screen shot of the credit report after I called and talked with the credit report agency and seeing how we cannot step foot on their property.

But after reviewing other complaints and comments for your business, there seems to be a pattern of fraud and false information given to others as well.
Treated us, more so my wife, very poorly and are giving false and a very inaccurate account of what happened. At NO point did she call/scream at anyone and call them a racist a## hole. She did tell the Darryl guy that she thought your business practices were shady and shifty and that they were all liars. It is a shame that a business would not only treat people the way that they did but when " called out" or a complaint is filed, they continue to make up lies and try to again slander someone, by listing wrong credit info and score or posting it AT ALL, or put that people said and did things that are not true . We were able to go back to the dealer that we dealt with prior and got a better deal and they gladly helped us and NEVER treated us in the way this " business" did. I will tell everyone I know about this horrible experience we had and will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Speaking with friends about this incident many have told us of very negative experiences they have had there.

Unfortunately these guys give shady car dealers a bad name. Apparently I have made the mistake of attempting to do business with this dealer on a previous occasion. My mistake on coming back for more. It starts off bad when it turns out they actually advertise their cars for a lower price than it's actually for sale as a cash purchase. If you make the mistake of asking them for an out-the-door price over email, they refuse to give you that number instead trying to get you to go to their dealership...no doubt to brow-beat you into paying more than you should for the car. If you're really unlucky...like I was, they'll have a "sales manager" call you to berate you over the telephone again, not actually providing a price but still directing you to their website. The problem is that their website doesn't actually give you the price of the vehicle either. It specifically says the price is plus "reconditioning costs" amongst other spurious fees/charges. They still refuse to actually tell you what the price of the vehicle is. Oh, and after telling them you're not interested and asking them to delete your information from their system, they then harass you with multiple calls (6 in 3 minutes in my case until their number is blocked). In short, the worst experience I've ever had not buying a car.

So for me it's a hassle to live in Naples and have to drive to another Nissan dealer just to look and decide what Nissan I wanna buy , all because they didn't get there way , please beware this dealership is a joke salesman telling lies for no reason, I will make the drive to get treated right thanks Aaron ****** for allowing these rude pressuring employees be part of Naples Nissan.

******* I'm so sorry about your experience Sunday at my store. I want you to know my security team has completed a full investigation and we have disciplined the employees involved in the initial contact with you... to ensure this will never happen again. I'm also available to discuss at XXX-XXX-XXXX. However during my teams investigation I found some disturbing information that I want to share with you so when we talk we are on the same page. First the employees you met and talked to on the phone are all long term staff members and it surprised me that they where involved with this kind of incident and again apologize for the way you where treated by Daryl my manager and I think this will not happen in the future. But since you have used a public forum to discuss this matter I need to reply to the BBB with the dealerships side of the story. I'm including three pieces of documentation that state there side of the story, I know there are always 2 sides of the story and what you experienced is unacceptable. This being said if half of what the employees say in there letters is true I'm taken back by amount of bad language and name calling you did. So here are the 3 letters!
First letter is from Sean ******* 4 year employee
I was first on point and he parked in an unusual parking spot kind of away from the door. I went to go up and greet him he told me he didn't want any help. I asked him what he was here to do he told me he was here to see an Lexus NX300 I didn't know the vehicle had been sold already and I asked if he wanted me to pull up front so he could take a look at it. He told me no they just wanted to walk around and be left alone. I proceeded to go in and tell Daryl what happened because this guy was starting to get rude. Daryl brought me out there and told him he wasn't allowed to walk around our lot without a salesman present because we have millions of dollars of inventory. At this point he started yelling and cursing he said that he has bought multiple vehicles from us and we were being "******* ******** and he didn't need a babysitter." Daryl said he could either walk around with me or he could leave. He then got right up in my face and called me a skinny little ****. He than called Daryl a fat lying *** hole or something along those lines. He continued cursing at us until he got back to his car and drove off.

Any other questions I'll be more than happy to answer just let me know boss. Throughout the entire interaction I was nothing but nice to him even when he was cursing at me.

AGAIN THIS IS WRONG ON DARYLS PART AND WE HAVE WRITTEN IT UP AND PUT IT IN HIS FILE.

2ND letter is from the receptionist.
      Mr. ******,
I received a phone call Sunday afternoon from Mr. ******* He immediately asked who were the managers I had working. I told him I had Daryl *** and Ken ****** working today. He also asked if Aaron ****** was working today. I told him I'd be happy to take his name/phone number and get a message to Mr. ******. Mr. ****** proceeded to give me his contact information and I asked if there was a message, he stated that he just had a bad experience out in the lot and he wanted to talk to Aaron ****** to let him know. He then asked for Mr. ******'s phone number. I then told him that I would relay the message and said I could transfer him to one of the managers working. He then became even more agitated and said he'd get Aaron ******'s ******* phone number himself! I gave his contact to Ken to call him back.
3rd letter is from Kenny ****** a 22 year employee
*****, I called this guy back on Sunday because he called in with a complaint he had with his resent visit. To my astonishment he was upset that one of my salesmen (Sean ******** approached him to help him out. He said he was even more upset that a manager (Daryl ***) came out to see what was wrong. "I don't need any ******* help. I bought 4 vehicles here and we never have a salesperson help me." I invited the guy to come back in and to work with me personally and he got even more upset. "Are you going to put me through to ******* Aaron or not" I told him I was not he was not in the store today. " We'll you're a ******* *******, and I can't believe you run a business like this. I hope you ******** don't sell any cars"

I have never seen someone get so upset about people trying to help him out. I told him to have a good day, because this conversation wasn't going anywhere. All he could do was call me names and tell me how ****** up we are.

Half of what was said by the employees is not true , this whole thing is started by pushy rude employees which also tells lies to start some b.s yes it got out of control in which o did curse feeling ganged up on plus salesman Sean telling lies. This pejorative situation should have never happened I was there to buy a vehicle but after being treated badly meanly from the guy that started the whole thing Sean , it's hard to trust naples Nissan all I got to say to other customers don't allow salesman to pressure feel freely to pick the exact vehicle and not be harassed while doing it . Thanks ...
