Won a vehicle at auction. The price was *******. They decided it went to cheap and sent us a counter offer of ******* . No where did it say it had a reserve. Didn't feel I had to pay more, they canceled the sale. We want the car for ******* or another car for that price that is equal or better value. Atleast they should refund the original payment of 199. To join the horrible company

I used services of SCA Auctions to bid on a vehicle listed as Run and Drive by IAA Vehicle turned out not to be in Run and Drive condition but has transmission issue.Run and drive car is required to do a full tire rotation forward and in reverse; but this car does not move an inch in reverse.I raised complaint in BBB against IAA but they said they would entertain complaints filed by broker and not the end customer. If ********************** auction raises complaint to IAA then at least I have a chance to get my money back as IAA has clearly done a malpractice I reached out to SCA and below was their final reply.Good afternoon! Dear ******* unfortunately we can do nothing in this situation.?According to our terms and conditions: ALL VEHICLES ARE SOLD AS IS; Disclaimers of Warranty: Every vehicle, including all vehicle types, sold through us is sold as is where is. No vehicle is represented as being road-worthy, drivable or mechanically sound and any vehicle may require substantial repairs. As such, it is sold without any warranties WHATSOEVER. Removal of the vehicle from the auction facility constitutes that the vehicle has been inspected by the member prior to removal. It is the members responsibility to inspect all vehicles, either in person or through third party, prior to purchase and prior to removal of the vehicle from the auction facility.I understand that cars are sold as AS IS. But since they listed it as Run and Drive - it should have satisfied that clause too

I am rejecting this response because:

This is not Ethical. At least SCA Auctions can initiate a complaint to IAAI. How can a Run and Drive vehicle not be roadworthy? At least it should bot have major repairs like transmission on this one.
IAAI is fooling people with wrongly listing vehicles. Someone needs to take a stand

      Sincerely,

      *************************

I have an account with SCA Auto Auction, and today I received an email and phone call stating I purchased a vehicle, which I did not. I called and spoke with the manager(Andy) and he stated that I bought it and was responsible for it. I stated that I did not make that purchased Either they are doing some fraudulent activities to get sales or someone has hacked their servers and using accounts from customers.

This company sold me a car back in January. I received the e sign documents for the tile in February and signed them. I have still not received the title for the vehicle. After calling them they stated that they would have to title the car in another state before they would be able to title the car back to me for the car not to become a salvage title in the state of Florida. When I bought the car it was listed as a clean title vehicle. Today 4/20/2022 I received a new e sign document with a new sell date that does not match the original date. Which this make the document illegal and a felony. I need a refund for the vehicle as soon as possible and they can pick the vehicle since it can not be titled to me since it is not a clean title and they are trying to falsifi the sell documents now.

We decided to try the *** auction to purchase a car we bought a **** ****** ****** for $875 online we had to pay a deposit of 1133 to guarantee the price of the car before we ever even bought the car. After we purchased the car online the next morning we were notified by an email from one of the office ladies that we had to pay $1,200 more dollars then by lunch time the invoice was up to 1700 because no we couldn't go get it we had to have it towed to our house. So we're not taking this we go to 5400 get well road which is on the website where it says their office is we get there and it's another auction Company the lady says we over 1200 bucks we pay she says it's paid in full go out there and get your car there's about 20 people standing around waiting on their cars. So I call Mr ****** and speak to him personally and he assured me that my deposit would be refunded he would get on it and get it started that very same day. However it's two days later and I still do not have it back and they have all of my money tied up. And they're also sending invoices for $317. Mr ****** attempted to put the blame on the auction company in ******* here that is handling the actual cars for them, but they do not require that the cars are totally they do not require that you have to pay all these extra fees and wire the money or anything like that. He also said that the deposit was because of that company and that's not true either. Mr ****** and *** are both liars and cheats. They're a broker company that passes every single expense off to the customer. Some expenses should be built into the price of the car. But they do not tell you that before you purchase the vehicle you have to put up $1,133 deposit then pay for your car and they've got your deposit until whatever they want to charge you is paid. He bald-faced lied to me on the telephone.

I won a vehicle from SCA auction that the reserved was met and after winning vehicle they refused the deal after I won the vehicle and said seller declined to offer the vehicle at that price and put on auction for another date

      Business response

      04/07/2022

      Good afternoon!
All vehicles have the reserve prices on them. When the live auction is over the seller may take 24 hours to make their final decision. As a result they may accept the deal as it is or reject it with no explanation and put the car back on sale again. The seller may also get in touch with us with their counter offer to negotiate with the winning bidder. In this only 3rd case they disclose the reserve.

According to our terms and conditions: "We are unable to guarantee that IAA may accept your bid, and IAA may reject a Member’s bid for any reason in IAA’s sole and exclusive discretion. You agree that we shall have no liability in the event that a bid you place is rejected".
