If you want to buy a car and dont care about getting good helpful customer service afterward, take a shot. They will sell you a car with pleasure. But dont expect anything more. Do NOT expect them to be helpful on a regular basis. Bottom line, stay far far away.Jenkins Hyundai Of Ocala

Took my almost new Hyundai Palisade in for an oil change. They had improperly seated the gasket on my oil filter causing a major loss of oil including a mess on my driveway. I called the service manager who promised he would provide some remedy such as sending someone to my house to fix the problem and clean up my driveway. He then ghosted me and wont return my calls. My wife did a ****** Review and someone calling himself a Customer Relations Manager responded to the review saying to call him. We called and he also ghosted usJenkins Hyundai Of Ocala

1 starWe were the victim of predatory lending in my opinion. I tried to help a friend buy a car cuz she needed a car as her current Hyundai was getting old and she needed a car. They are swindlers and pliers plain and simple at this dealership. While I realize her bad credit isnt there fault their fees are outrageous. Its a used car. A 2400 dollar dealer fee for reconditioning?? Absurd. They take a person who they know needs a car and they pounce on them and take advantage of them. There is a fine line between making a profit and s******* people over. This dealership crossed that line. I will never buy anything from them again or refer anyone to them again to be taken advantage of like that. Then when we go in to pick up the car today I asked the salesman ***** if they could at least give us a couple of oil changes and the manager gave us 1. Whoop Dee ***** By the time we pay off this loan the car will have cost just shy of 40 000 dollars and we get 1 oil change? Then the salesman starts yelling and belittling me in side and in front of the whole dealership. Terrible experienceReview fromCharles D

1 starAs a current customer as well as previous customer. Some experiences have been good, while others not so good. Back in September we had brought our 2021 Hyundai Elantra in to service the window tint which was defective. While we waited our previous salesmen's wife approached us and offer to show us the "new" 2024 Elantra. We did and of course it had some features we didn't have on our 2021 (only had ****** miles)... anyway we told them it would have to be "apples to apples", we would want exactly the same features. We bought it and on the way home we noticed a couple of things. Front driver's seat was not electric, and the radio didn't sound the same. The interior wasn't the same, it was cloth not leather.. we contacted the dealership mgr, who invited us back and did in fact get us into a new exactly the same car, because ours had already been sold. Well here's where the problems got worse. We resigned "new" contracts and they showed us what out payments were going to be etc.. the following month we received a bill from Hyundai Finance and we paid the monthly installment as agreed and had set up auto pay with our bank.. now at the end of Oct we received a Past Due payment from Hyundai Finance, and we called.. well the first bill we had received was on the 2024 we had returned and the Past due notice was for the replacement and the accounts were NOT the same, Hyundai Finance told us that the dealer sent them the wrong paperwork, but all we had to do was pay the (2) payments and they would mail us back the payment that had already been received and applied to an account which had been paid off. We told them we can't afford to make a double payment, can't you simply transfer the payment that you already received over to the new account. we were told no, that we should contact the dealership.. we called and left a message for the dealership mgr. and to this day have not received a return call. We are the victim of negligence and are waiting for their check.Review fromkenneth u

Bait and switch, at 6 PM one evening recently I talked to salesman ****, he said the blue exterior 2024 Hyundai Ioniq 5 was still available, so I made a 9:30 AM appointment for the next day to test drive it. When I arrived he said the car was sold the night before and he wanted to get me a similar car that wasn't even on the dealer lot but it would take a couple of days and he was pushing me to write up a contract on a car sight unseen. He also didn't even remember my name when I arrived and he argued about interior colors on the car. He said no thank you and walked out.Jenkins Hyundai Of Ocala

My 78 year old wife bought a 2021 Genesis *** worth according to ***** $46,500.00 dollars and paid $58,856.13 dollars including sales tax. ******************** would not finance her so she was financed with Campus *** at 6.9% in *************** when she told the finance department at Jenkins she wanted to finance at ******* in ***************** where she lives. She refinanced with Loyalty and it cost her $350.00 finance charges with Campus ***. She let her 78 year old heart overrule her 78 year old mind because she liked the car so much. She trusted sales and finance to the bitter end. Surely she can get overpriced money back from Jenkins but they won't answer or return phone calls. She has sought legal advice but can't find one that caters to seniors. Can BBB help in any way? This review won't hurt Jenkins because their reviews are so poor already. ****************** doesn't perform work that they say they do. I have been bringing my 2022 Hyundai Palisade there since new for its regular oil change and tire rotation. after approx.25,000 miles they are telling me i need a front end alinement as my tires had uneven ware. i told them i would wait and maybe next visit. before my next visit I marked the tires. Brought the car in for service. Oil change and tire rotation. Again they said I need an alinement. After leaving I checked my tires, they had not been rotated. I called the dealership to speak to the service mgr. no luck tried twice, I was told they would have him call me. No call. I now take my car to a to another dealership and will no longer use Jenkins. I will not purchase anything from any Jenkins dealership as they can not be trusted.Jenkins Hyundai Of Ocala

1 starBought a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica 7/15/23 and have had major issues with this vehicle since the purchase. Returned to dealership on 7/18/23 with a diagnostic report from our local trusted mechanic. Talked with an extremely rude general sales manager. Told him we wanted to return the vehicle and that I would stop payment on the check that had not cleared at that time. He threaten to call the police on us and said we were driving a stolen car. My husband then said we may have to get an attorney. With that comment from my husband he slammed his hands down on the table and said you see how big this building is our attorneys are just as big. He also said our mechanic that did the diagnostic test was a bad business. Since the purchase of this vehicle we have had major electrical issues totaling $4,700.00 in repairs. I called the general manager of this company who is willing to do absolutely nothing for us. We are seeking compensation for repairs that we believe they had to know about before selling the vehicle.Review fromCharlotte J

Our 2021 Kona experienced engine failure July 2023. We towed our Kona to their location due to needing a loaner car /rental to allow transportation to work. Upon arrival it was a fight to receive a loaner vehicle dispute our “client service representative” Courtney ******* stating the work would typically take a month to complete. Communication was limited if not nonexistent regarding the process or progress of the repair. We were notified the vehicle would be complete the week of August 28th. After numerous calls, voicemails, messages sent, and spending three hours on hold to be hung up on to restart the process Courtney ******* stated “the car would need a new battery costing $300”. Saturday Courtney stated the car would be complete Tuesday September 5th if they could find where the newly replaced engine was leaking coolant. Today we made the hour and 45 minute drive to the dealer after Courtney confirmed they fixed the leaking coolant issue, test drove the vehicle, and it received their seal of approval for us to retake possession. We drove less than 10 miles from their location before the “ENGINE FAILURE” alarms started. Naturally the vehicle was turned around to be returned to the dealer. It is now sitting leaking the remainder of coolant across their service station. Due to the displeasure of dealing your your dealership/repair center and their disgustingly poor customer service and sheer inability to do their jobs effectively I will contacting the better business bureau, However if i see a response by the end of today with the answer I deserve as one of your customers I will give you 10 days to rectify your disservice to me and my family, If not then i will write them and send them all our correspondence with dates of many duplicate repairs with a full written report of this absolutely disgusting experience with your company.Jenkins Hyundai Of Ocala

My daughter is a full-time student and works part-time. She purchased a 2018 Hyundai Sonata, 1/2020, paid the vehicle completely off, in 2021. The vehicle first initial breakdown was 10/2021 and has broken down 3 times during the year of 2022. Each time the vehicle has to be towed, each time she is inconvenienced with finding a ride to and from work, due to her vehicle being inoperable. The whole purpose of the vehicle purchase was for her to be able to get back and forth to work and school, and anything else she may need to do. You can't expect for a college student working part-time to have the ability to continue to pay for tows, continue to breakdown. Each time the vehicle has broken down, it smells of burning wires, smoke comes from under the hood, and it will not start. The vehicle has been sent each time to Jenkins Hyundai of Ocala FL, each time we are told the vehicle is fixed, but then it breaks down again. The starter has been replaced, 2-3 times, ABS Sensor replaced, Axle replaced, all under the bumper-to-bumper warranty. Yet we are here again with the same issue for the 4th time. Also, when we pick up the vehicle after it has been serviced, it has grease marks, over the steering wheel, middle console, and trash in the floorboard of the car. I'm not sure why the interior of the car is not taken into consideration when mechanics get in and out of the vehicles, especially with a light interior. This is all unacceptable and needs to be addressed. At this point, I'm requesting Hyundia buy back this horrible vehicle. Not to mention, each time she breaks down, she never has been offered a rental, or each time they don't have any available. This has been a complete nightmare. I truly don't understand why the issue can't be resolved, 4 times the vehicle has broken down!!!Jenkins Hyundai Of Ocala
