I would also give zero stars as an employee for about a week longer than it took to complete the "onboarding" paperwork, which took approximately 2 weeks to complete. First, they made tons of empty promises of reimbursements, bonuses, and whatever else their magic bag held to lure you into their tangled web. Then, after signing the contract, they went on to use intimidation measures, similar to bullying with 5-6 of them coming at you via text, endless phone calls, and more than enough emails, in an effort to complete the paperwork so you can get working for them as their "cash cow." Let's not forget that once the contract is signed, all of those empty promises *poof* disappear leaving nothing but settled dust. My 12 week contract ended pretty much mutually after only 3 weeks. I was an ER RN for 10 years with 5 years of psych, drug/ETOH detox/rehab, and corrections just to get a change of scenery and try my hand at something new. That being said, I always wondered what it would be like to be a school nurse. Now I know and would never entertain that branch of nursing again. That was the MOST drama-ridden, backstabbing arena I've ever been in! I try to avoid cliques and drama at all costs but not in the school district they placed me in. First, I never stepped foot into a HS as an RN in my professional career; no training whatsoever! I was left alone the first day then made to switch to the MS after the *** arrived at 9:45 (start time for me 7:15). Basically, I was a warm body to fill the empty cracks in that SD. Nobody ever showed me a thing or advised what to do in any certain situation(s). I was getting ready to end the contract when, instead, the brand new Director of Pupil Svcs called Sunbelt to end it. Now that it's over, they owe me over $1K and I'm sure I won't see it. All of a sudden, mum's the word! Nobody answers their phone, my texts, or emails. Guess it's small claims court for them! BRING IT! It's illegal to withhold earned income, JS

I would give zero stars as Orange County Public schools here in Orlando Florida hired them temporarily from August to December their nurse stationed at Sally ride elementary school stole my son's amphetamine medication for his ADHD/autism. Orange county public schools refuses to contact orange county sheriffs office regarding the situation Sun Belt staffing has drug addicts as nurses beware. This nurse also was giving my son unknown medication other than his prescribed Adderall

Sunbelt Staffing hires qualified nursing candidates who undergo rigorous screening practices, including thorough background checks and drug screens. In the very rare circumstances that we are made aware of a situation involving theft or a medication error, we immediately remove our employee from the school while an investigation is completed. We are unaware of any such circumstance and will follow-up to partner with Orange County Public Schools.
