The company in question took a ***** usd deposit for solar battery installation and has never done the work. I have contacted the company on numerous occasions for updates, refund etc., and I have not received any satisfaction. A refund of the money is requested at this time. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We would like to clarify the status of the project. The customers ********************** system installation was completed, including the removal of the original SolarEdge equipment and the installation of new Enphase microinverters as requested.
The batteries for the system were ordered and are scheduled for delivery on 5/5, with installation agreed upon for 5/6, per direct communication and agreement with the customer. There has been no delay or failure to perform on our end. We are fully committed to completing the battery installation as scheduled. Once the work is completed, the remaining balance owed by the customer will become due.

I had a solar system installed by these guys, now they won't stop harassing me, trying to get me to buy more services from them. I have put in writing 3x now for them to stop contacting me. Specifically, ******* ****** will not leave me alone. I have said in no uncertain terms. "DO NOT CONTACT ME UNLESS THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH MY SOLAR SYSTEM." and he won't stop.This needs to end. This company was hired to complete a detach and then reattach of our pool solar heating system. From the beginning they have made excuse of why after reattaching it continues to leak. They have been providing excuse after excuse of why they cant make repairs. I have been promised a call from the ** but he never calls. This has been going on for 5 months. They never answer the phone only communicate through text. My contact has lied several times. When questioned she changes the topic. Her name is *********. Spoke with ********************. Replaced pipe and issue is two of the pool panels. Just replaced those panels at the end of this week and have to send tech out to help resolve leak and warp in panel. Working with customer to get resolved in a timely manner. Has some staff changes when issue was originally an issue and had to get caught up to get proper info from ******************** so that we could handle concerns and correct. Entered into a contract with All American Solar in November, 2023. Installation did not happen until mid January, 2024. The install/upgrade of a new battery system was completed and working fine. I paid All American $54,000,All American/subcontractors after the install, took all old equipment, including 2 Enphase model 10T batteries back to their business site. These were new batteries but had never been provisioned and *********************** (owner of All American) had arranged for his distributor to buy these for $8000. There were issues between ******* and his sub regarding the batteries and I intervened between the two parties and ******* finally accepted my batteries after months of arguments between him and his subcontractor. ******* actually found a client who was interested in the batteries and he installed my batteries at his clients home in mid-April. Since then Ive had multiple phone calls, texts and still have not received the $8000 for my 10T batteries. He confirmed he had been paid and promised my funds would be transferred to my checking account on May 8. No transfer was made and no response to multiple calls to *********************** or his Office Manager to understand why it was not done. Im requesting your help to receive the $8000 for my equipment he supposedly sold on my behalf.Customer Answer

Ive kept you up to date on process with customer on those batteries every step of the way and have paid half of the money that was received. The balances will be paid from final provisioning when received as discussed. You had missing relays in your batteries that required additional attention. Im doing a favor for you that I didnt have to do considering you being burned and taken for $15k from a previous contractor that didnt complete the job you originally contracted. I am rejecting this response because:I was told I would receive payment or at least a call/text from ******* by today (2 weeks after his agreeent to pay). Once again, no final payment, no answer to multiple texts and voicemail filled.
Im troubled as to why All American Solar has the rating it does from you with a group that refuses to pay and refuses to tell the truth. Hes non-responsive and last time I did get through first thing he asked me to do is to remove my complaint from BB. He wanted two weeks and I gave him that. Since he installed my equipment at another clients home without having paid for the equipment, its outright theft.
I would expect you to at least change his rating so that other consumers dont go through something like this!

Here to assist in any capacity with ********************. Still having issue with battery add on made that clear and this is going on for several months. I decided to assist him on the basis of the company he originally made purchase from took his money in amount of $15k plus and when I had the opportunity to evaluate his system and properly size it with the newer 5P batteries, I came with solution to maximize his return and achieve his production.
In the midst of this process I offered to help him salvage the monies from the batteries he list on behalf of other company he purchased from not doing their job. The customer who was able to use these batteries had a negative experience from contractor that went out of business during their original install.
Due to their dissatisfaction and discomfort after being taken, I was able to address concerns, propose solution, and establish trust; however, during install there have been issues with batteries on utility side. Im working to resolve, but am having to go one billing cycle at a time as we troubleshoot to see readings properly represented.
I paid ***** $4k so far and will pay remaining when they are satisfied. I understand his frustration and Im not refusing, but I have to resolve this issue first and once done will issue final payment to close this out file properly.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is barely satisfactory. Im happy to see that there is finally a commitment to pay the additional $4,000 he owes me. But Ive heard this issue about how theres an installation problem at another client which has nothing to do with me. Theyve installed my batteries, have been using them and all without payment to me! No supplier would ever accept that!
I will reinstate this complaint if payment is not made by end of 2024 and would hope that BBB will clearly show then that All American has not followed through and rate them accordingly.

*********************** (owner) sold us an inadequate system that does not operate as we were told it would. It does not create the proper kwh, the batteries are insufficient and now our home won't switch back and forth to the power grid,without losing power and will shut off completely when the batteries are too low. His solution was to "buy more panels" when that is not the issue. We either want the entire system removed and wiped from my credit, OR for it to be 100% fixed and operational at no additional cost. ******* is a fraud and is currently going to court for other solar related issues as well. Our preference is to have the entire system removed and wiped from my credit. ******* ALSO threatened to "beat my ass" over a phone conversation when we were asking him to make the situation right. So we refuse to converse anymore with him or his company and have even started paying out of pocket to have a separate company come diagnose our issues. This problem has been ongoing since install at the end of 2021 and we are having issues to this day, as I write this complaint. We also have a 400+ power bill, on top of our monthly payment for this system that does not work ($400+ dollars).Business Response

Hi ****************,
After looking over your concerns and the information you provided back in 2021, the household consumption you had from the previous 12 months during that time was ***** kWh on average per month and 77.2 kWh/ day average.
From doing calculations on your household demand I found that you need 66 panels. This was a 21.78KW DC and a 19.47KW AC system. When you take the 19.47KW x 4 hours = 77.88 kWh/ average production per day which is a direct correlation to your average usage.
This substantiates that the system size was accurate based of usage at the time.
With regards to the solar battery back up from Enphase. You had 6 batteries or 20KW Enphase 10s installed based off your wants and budget at the time. I mentioned you could expand to 40KW or 12 batteries, but that wasnt a financial option at the moment. Its all plug and play so if you ever want to add capacity you would just buy the additional batteries.
Your household usage doubled and Im not sure it was from increased demand from current residents in 2021 or from added people to your household over last few years, but demand went up. Also, if you added a home improvement that would increase demand possibly too.
I never threatened you, just dealt with your frustration of increasing bills. Again, the system was sized based off usage you provided. I mentioned we could reevaluate usage and see how many more panels or batteries you wanted to add, but you declined.
You also, switched your system to another company ASE Sunologi to maintain your system so we cant be responsible for liability of efficiency or potential damages the new contractor may have caused as we have no record or ability to work on system since you switched to them. If you need anything resolved I would reach out to ASE for assistance.

I am rejecting this response because:You based our consumption off of a 13 month calender and the system is not producing what was quoted to us. We have done the calculations and know for a fact it does not. We've become much more educated on the subject since we were scammed into this system. At the time of purchase, we expressed to you that we had just moved back into the home full time and that consumption would rise, yet instead of being HONEST with us, you chose to sell us a system that would not be sufficient despite our concerns of our usage going up. A true business owner not looking to make a quick dollar would have advised us to revisit after a few months of "new usage" for proper calculations. We also expressed we wanted EXTRA for the future install of a pool and pole barn and you stated it would be "more than enough". You also stated the batteries we would have would be more than enough to operate us OFF GRID, which was also a lie. As we must turn off everything including the air conditioning except a few small lights. You did threaten me and my daughter whom trusted you with selling us this faulty system was standing next to me as you yelled at me over the phone. Your faulty system has cost us a ridiculous amount of money in repairs to home appliances because of surges in the home (since we are underpowered). We also have not had anyone work on the system. We had another company INSPECT the system and they confirmed the system is grossly underpowered and not installed to standards. The system is NOT PRODUCING the SOLD KWH BASED ON A 13 MONTH ******** THAT YOU WROTE DOWN. I also address YOU the ***** as you were also our sales person, which is EXACTLY what you are. A very fast talking sales man.

I attached a copy of the sizing sheet from the information you provided. I cant make false calculations as the numbers are from your bills. There is no way to forecast usage from people not actively in your home. I mentioned the system is expandable and you can plug and play as usage increases. If you dont want to follow the protocol of that then there is nothing else I can do.
The other company that is maintaining the system that did inspection can confirm for you that your usage is higher than the information you originally provided me 3 years ago. As stated before if you provide the last 12 months I can see what the difference you need and can provide financing for the additions you want to add. Other than that my recommendation would be to see where you can reduce demand with habits or improve efficiencies of some of your appliances that *** be drawing more power.
The batteries were hardwired for whole home; however if you overload it or turn on multiple loads to deplete your state of charge and efficiency then it will be inefficient. You have to monitor the usage in an off grid situation. We cant do that for you except provide recommendations.

This company is calling me 7-12 times a day. I have told them numerous times I do not own a house and I am not interested in their solar panels yet they continue to call me. In fact, after I asked them to stop calling me, the phone calls became much more frequent. They are harassing me and I do not think it is appropriate for a business to conduct itself in this way. In the attached photos, all of the calls in red are from American solar using different numbers as I keep blocking them. It is only 5pm and I already got I believe 7 calls.
