    I got a quote from Rainaldi Home Services for a lump sum of $14,125. I am asking Rainaldi to provide a breakdown of this estimate, including how much labor will be and how much will be for the parts and materials. The *** refused to do that. I would appreciate it if they could provide a crystal-clear estimate.

    I will be happy to help you with the break down. you can figure 60 percent of your quote would be labor and materials, 30 percent would be our overhead costs and if everything works out for us then 10 percent would be ******* for the company.     To whom it may concern. On November 14 2024 I was having a new roof put on my house which was damaged by hurricane ******. During this time the roofers hit a water pipe. . I called Rainalidi Plumbing and asked if a plumber could come out that day at which time I also told them he would have to go up on the roof ,since that was where the pipe was leaking . The roofers had the pipe completely exposed so that the plumber did not have to cut anything to get to it. It was a piece of pipe about 4 inches long he had to replace . They charged me $450 to fix that small piece of pipe. After that he went to turn the water back on at the main valve and noticed it was leaking so he fixed another small piece of pipe and charged me $250 for that . He was here all of about 1 hr to fixed both pipes and charged me $700. I am a 77 yr old widow living on Social Security Disability and I think they took advantage of me. I would like to put a complaint in on them . I have pictures included of the 2 pipes he fixed.Thank You ***** *****

    Rainaldi plumbing came to my house on 3/29/24 because my water softener malfunctioned & I lost the water pressure in my home. They made up an elaborate story about imy ** blowing up and sending the membrane of the ** into all the pipes of my house & that they had to do all this complicated work to clear the ************ did nothing of the sort. They charged me a ridiculous amount just to hit the bypass valve, disconnect the water ********* ******* out the water heater!! I am an 82 year old ************ knew I was desperate because this happened on a Friday (3/29/24) Good Friday I might add, I trusted them and they took advantage of ******* daughter. I expected to pay anywhere between $600- at most $1200 and they charged me $2280 for Less than 3 hours of work!!

          I deeply apologize about any confusion that *** have occurred concerning the work that we did at your home. We have had multiple discussions about this with you on the phone. All the work was authorized before the work was started. You were very happy with the work that was performed, and all the issues seemed resolved on day one. The following day some more clogging occurred, and we came back to the home and did more work at no cost at all. We was at your home for 5 hours and 25 minutes the first visit and another hour on the second visit. We replaced multiple shut off valves throughout the home as well as the fill valves in the toilets. You was very pleased with the work once we had completed it. We have offered you smaller refunds that you have not wanted to accept, I unfortunately am not able to refund half of the amount that we agreed to before the work began.

    I hired Rainaldi home services to do the Repiping of my house. At the beginnings the appraisal person ( ****) told me that the process ( Repiping, inspection and drywall repair) would last a week. The Repiping was done on May 6,I contacted **** ( person in charge) Im different occasions and she told me that now I has to wait for the city to schedule the inspection. Nothing was happening so I decided to call the city myself and to my surprise they told me Rainaldi owe them $87.09 for the permits and that as long there was a balance they cant come to inspect.I contacted Rainaldi again and **** give me many excuses ( the Secretary went on vacations and forgot to pay) Finally the city do the inspection and when I contacted the drywall repair person he told me that he was running behind and that he can schedule me for two weeks later. That is instead of a week like they originally told me approximately a month .I spoke to ****, supervisors, managers and no one seems to care, instead they were very rude, in many occasions they answer my calls two days later . I lost my job interview in ***** and has to postpone my trip twice al because of their ineptitud. Not even an apology, al rude obviously since I pay the full amount the day of service, they already got my money nothing else matter to them. Worse company with the worse customer service, liars who only blame each other. In my opinion they were just racist including ** the drywall repair person. A non Hispanic person would not have been treated like that. They told me about water can be a litter hotter than usual, that was also a lie ( its way hotter and had to wait about 5 minutes or more before cold water comes waisting more water ).Not even a supervisor or manager come to inspect their own people work

    I was contacted by ******************* (supervisor) on June 11, he wanted to know why I had made a complaint with BBB. I explained my reasons and he told me that he was very sorry, that he had never really heard anything like that. This is something I couldn't believe, considering he was one of the people I wrote to regarding the situation. He responded two or three days later and he asked me what he could do to help me, l responded that it was already too late; they didnt do anything  when I really needed it. When he contacted me on June 11, he offered me $500. I didn't respond at the time because I felt very angry and, at the same time, I thought about looking for lawyers, but I couldn't because I don't have the money since I used my 401k savings to do the Repiping. I think that $500 is a mockery after the way I was treated by them.
    I think the fair thing would be a full refund of my money or a refund of $4000 and insulation to all the pipes that are upstairs in the attic (they were not insulated at the time of the repiping, nor did they give me the option, causing the water to come out extremely hot in ******* summer). Although I no longer trust this company, I think one of these two options would be a fair resolution for the three weeks of trouble and inconvenience they caused.

          I truly do apologize for the issues from your repipe, I would again like to offer you the $500 refund towards the cost of the repipe. I would also be able to insulate the pipes in the attic, but as we have mentioned this insulating of the pipes does not do a lot to resolve the hot water issue. Any time we sell a repipe we do mention the water being hotter than what the customer would be normally expecting. This comes from the fact that attics can became very hot in the summer heat and water setting in the pipes not flowing will absorb this heat. I hope this helps to bring a resolution to your situation.

    I do not believe that a $500 refund is enough compensation for the trouble and headache I was put through in dealing with the re-piping through Rainaldi. I was unable to travel back to my home in ***** and go back to work as I was left with an unfinished project for 3 weeks, thanks to Rainaldi. $500 would not even begin to cover the wages lost during that time. I feel that a 50% refund, of the amount I paid out-of-pocket for the service, and the insulation of the pipes in the attic would be a much more fair outcome in this case.

    We paid Rainalid Home Services $19,500 to Repipe our home. This service was January 26, 2022 with a 10 year warranty on the work. The specifics you can read on the attached receipt, but specifically included was the cost to repair all the drywall holes they cut into the house to repipe it. When the work was done we did not live in the house due to a burst pipe that had caused the need for major repairs, we chose to repipe as a precaution. Once we moved back in toward the end of 2022 we found they did not repair a large hole in my daughter's closet. We have contacted them on multiple occasions to repair a hole they missed in my daughter's closet. At one point they even had a tech our looking at other problems and he took photos of it and said someone would call to schedule the drywall person. After weeks I tried again, after another month I tried again. Everytime I call they say the same thing and nothing has been fixed. My 3 year old is afraid of her closet because of this hole and we just want someone to hold up their end and finish the job.

    On October 24, 2022 at 1:50 pm and left a message. The company returned my call the next day, whom i spoke to Mrs. S****** Mrs. S***** set up an appointment at 10am. The Tech shows up and I show him the area and he said that he does not deal with that type of work. He then call another tech and i spoke to him, and he said that he will charge me $299.00. I told him i already have an inspection done and if this time he could see my inspection report and he said he does not go by that inspection. I then called the office and spoke to s***** about the situation and she said she will return my call. but she never did. I called a few days later and called after hours and a lady answered and was very kind to tell me that s***** will call me the next day. Mrs. S***** never call and neither anyone, not even the tech. Bad service and waist of time.

    On 8/23/2022 we had a sales rep from Rainaldi come to our home to talk about a new unit installation. We had a few choices, but went with what the sales rep described as a "state of the art and quiet" unit. The keywords "state of the art" and "quiet" are what **** us in to the unit at a cost of over $12K. Installation occurred on August 25th. Since then we have complained about a noise the unit makes which can be heard over the ** and even from the farthest room in the home. After a number emails and phone calls, they sent a technician to check the noise, who said "the noise is not normal" and would talk to his supervisor. They came and did something to the outside unit. That did not make any change in the noise. They sent another tech in who said "if the ** works, you'll have to live with the noise". Unacceptable response from their technician!We continued to communicate with the service manager who personally came to check the noise. He admitted that he had the same unit installed at his neighbor's home with no issues. He stated that he didn't like that the line and pipe were installed inside the house and that is what is making the noise so he was going to see if it could be moved to the outside. However, he then said it would be too much work/trouble because of how it was installed to move that outside, so he would have a service tech come in and change the line/pipe out and that should be fix the noise issue. It was changed, but noise issue still there. Each time we are promised that "this is the solution and will resolve the noise issue." *********** manager did acknowledge that we should hear "nothing" from this unit. No noise, etc.Over the last 2 1/2 weeks our emails and messages have gone unanswered.

    Contact has been made and they sent two technicians on Tuesday, November 8th. Unfortunately it did not resolve the noise issue. It is my opinion that this unit was installed incorrectly - that's my opinion. They did say that they have some training going on with York (the manufacturer of our unit) and will ask them about our issues and they will get back to us about that.

I request that this complaint be kept open until the replacement is done and resolves the issue of the noise.

    Please not, under "Do you accept this business proposed resolution" I hit "No" simply to keep this case open until the issue is resolved completely to our satisfaction.

    They came and installed a new ac unit. I had been given a quote of a system from Allied. A few days later I realized they'd installed a different brand, York. Also, the one they installed is unable to bring the temperature below 77-78 during the day when it is sunny. I have spoken with Dale many times, and he finally sent out a tech to diagnose and fix the problem. He did turn down the blower as it was extremely strong and loud. He checked the outside unit, and told me he was unhappy with the pressures, and a valve that wasn't fully open. He told me he wouldn't fix it because the installer should be the one to fix his mistake. When I spoke to Dale, the report the tech submitted showed no problems at all. I told Dale they needed to replace my system with the brand I agreed to. It is not acceptable the system cannot bring it down past 77° when it's hot. He said he would ask the owner "When he wanted to do it", and I have not heard back from anyone in almost a week. Each time I have spoken to Dale, and he said he would call me back, I ended up having to call over and over to be able to speak with him. I am 100#l% dissatisfied. This needs to be rectified immediately.

    On May the 10th, 2022 a plumber from Rainaldi came because I had a heater problem at my house. The master shower as well as other showers in the house had no pressure and the hot water didn't last at all, just a couple of minutes. The plumber came, made an assessment of the problem charged me USD $88.00 dollars for the visit and indicated that he was coming the following day to fix it. The plumber returned the following day, supposedly to fix the problem. He charged me USD $952.72 and the problem wasn't solved just got worse. I called the company again and informed them that there was still no water no pressure and no hot water, whatever the gentleman did not solve my problem and I just lost USD $1,040.72. When the same plumber comes, he doesn't even check the equipment and indicates that I need to replace my water heater, that it can't be fixed and that they would sell me a new one for USD $4,200. I informed him that this is crazy, you came before, I paid 1K and supposedly the problem was solved. I was tricked and scammed just to get me to buy a new heater. I call another plumber for a second opinion and he couldn't even believe at what that other tech did. The piece was overheating terribly and he indicated that they installed the circulation pump onto the drain/purge pipe instead of the hot water line. It was literally pumping water out of the water heater. The piece they put should have been installed on the top of the water heater and not on the side backwards like Rainladi did it. The problem was fixed, the heater is working perfectly now thanks to this other problem. This company is a ripoff and they took advantage of my lack of plumbing knowledge. I am want a full refund of my money. This is not the first time this happens with this company. Before, I had an AC problem, they told me the same thing, that I needed to buy a new one and gave me a 7K quote. Another tech came and fixed the problem for less than $400.00 dollars and have had no problems ever since.

There is no further discussion, I just want a full refund of the money paid since the service was not provided. The problem was not fixed and I had to hire another company to fix it. I gave them two opportunities to fix the problem and their solution was to buy a new equipment. Please refund the total amount paid or I will involve my attorney and seek legal actions. Thank you! After researching the matter further we decided to let the dispute stand. We are sorry we fell short in Ms. ******'s expectation an hope this resolution meets her expectations. We consider this matter closed.
