I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with ***, a hairdresser who took my deposit for an appointment that she never showed up for. My appointment was scheduled for August 8th at 11:30 AM, but the entire experience was a nightmare from start to finish. When I scheduled an appointment with on August 8th 2024 at 11:30AM she asked for a $60 deposit through CashApp. In the days leading up to the appointment, I received four emails with changes to the appointment time, one of which was bizarrely set for 1 AM. Concerned and confused, I tried to contact *** through the phone numbers provided, but both were out of service. I then reached out to her via Instagram, where she saw my messages but did not respond or answer my calls. Hours later, she finally contacted me, claiming her phone had died, but by then, the situation had already raised red flags. When I arrived to retrieve my deposit, ***** behavior was unprofessional and highly suspicious. She pretended to need time to reload her CashApp account to process the refund but never did. She then claimed that her assistant had to handle it, only to later tell me to come to the bank with her. When I went to my car to follow her, she had vanished.Throughout this ordeal, I remained calm, repeatedly asking for my deposit back. Instead of addressing my concerns, *** became extremely aggressive, yelling at me rudely and loudly. Her behavior was erratic, and she seemed to be under the influence, acting in a manner that was far from professional or conscious. As of now, I have still not received my deposit back, and the entire experience has been incredibly frustrating. I would strongly advise anyone considering booking with *** to think twice. My experience was not only a waste of time and money but also deeply unsettling.

I had a hair appointment booked with this stylist for 9/1 at 2pm. The appointment was made on 8/30. She asked me for a 50 dollar deposit which I sent her through ***** *** however on the day of the appointment she was completely unresponsive. I had no address for the salon and she never notified me the brand of hair she wanted me to purchase for the style even though she said she would. I text her multiple times, called her multiple times and even reached out on her social media to no avail. My appointment was scheduled for 2pm and at 1:53pm she sent me the address to her place. I informed her that there was no way I could make it in 7 mins and also told her that I had been trying to contact her all morning and the prior evening however she told me since I scheduled last minute her system did not send me the address. Since this is a system error I expect a refund on my deposit. I do not want to reschedule with her because I find her extremely unprofessional. She is refusing to provide me my 50 dollars back when she is the one responsible for the mistake.

I booked an appointment February 20th for March 1st for medium knotless braids and paid a $50 deposit as requested via **** app.I was in communication with Kayponds on the weekend coming into the week of my appointment via phone and by text as she confirmed the hair type I needed and then explained I purchased the wrong hair and I took time to go back to buy new hair. On February 28th I received my confirmation text from acuity scheduling app and from kay ponds who sent me her full address . On March 1 I headed to the address she sent I arrived at 8:59 am and texted her that I was outside. She then texted me 2 minutes later “ ok I'll be one sec” then 18 minutes later she texted me “ Good morning I deeply apologize and it’s a lot to go into details , if you are open to rescheduling I can take $75 off . Maybe to the weekend. Or I can take you this evening for overnight. But if I do overnight it will be the same price .” This is absurd I took a lot of time and an entire day off of work drove to her side of town sat outside for 15 minutes used gas and spent extra time running around to be prepared for my appointment. I understand inconveniences however having a client come to you and then you tell them your coming to then cancel on them doesn't seem appropriate. She then sent me 40$ out of $50 of my deposit and I'm now waiting for my remaining $10.
